"Proof?" Magnolia questioned, not taken with the given inclination. There seemed to be no reasoning behind it. "Do you have-"

"Proof." Altais suddenly snapped his forefinger and thumb together as he whirled back around, floating toward the duo. "I'm going to need proof from you," he said directly to Valerie.

"What do you mean, Altais?" Magnolia asked, tilting her head.

"I wasn't addressing you," was all the Jirachi replied.

"I know that." Magnolia said sternly. "At least make yourself clear to her. darn it."

"I need proof if I can trust she won't reveal me. Simple words aren't affirmation; it's like kicking a pebble into the darkness and waiting for it to come back to you. Tit for tat. Is that how it goes?"

"Yes, that's how it goes . . . I mean, Altais, you're being unreasonable. She said-"

"I just said I don't care what she said. It's what she can show, what she can do for me. I need more than a deal. I need a promise."

Doyle looked up from where he was standing with his bike. Why the heck did he travel this far?! He had been trying to avoid this town as his sister was living here. It would be hard to slip away if he had any Rocket business to take care of. "Supplies... yeah that would be good." He muttered. He then put the bike back in the item capsule so he could walk.

Walking with Genesis he kept a sharp eye out for his annoying sister. When at the store he quickly walked in and began grabbing stuff. Some things mysteriously made their way into his pockets without the clerk noticing while others stayed out in plain view. He wouldn't need too much in the way of supplies. Team Rocket kept him pretty well stocked as well as his thievery. Plus he wasn't planning on staying with the caravan the entire time. After all he was sure other missions would pop up and he wouldn't be traveling with them if say... Alexa joined them. Nope no way was he traveling with her.

((Wow... time to figure out how Doyle's timeline works in regards to missions as well as what pogeys he has. XD Been so long. ))

Jem whistled. That was quite the itinerary!
"I haven't seen cross-country caravans quite so ambitious in awhile! Will you be in town long?" she asked Shina.
"I'm Jem Stone, by the way." she added with a friendly grin.

The young woman glanced down at her full bags and laughed a bit. "If you're offering! Once I get this stuff squirreled away I can show you where the gym is, sound good?"

The Jirachi took the piece of technology and held it up to himself, turning it this way and that as if searching for some way to destroy it all together. While her proposition did sound promising, Altais wasn't going to take any chances, and was prepared to Doom Desire everything Valerie held dear (and her face) to prevent his identity from being revealed. As his top tag began to flicker, Magnolia reached out and laid a hand on his shoulder again, diminishing the sudden rise of the attack.

"Y-Yes, yes, that will do," she said, nodding her head. She also plucked the camera from the legendary's hands (with some resistance), and offered it back to Valerie. "Thank you very much for keeping your word. I know Altais comes off as a little, um, unruly, but he's a good Pokemon. I swear."

"Hmmph," the Jirachi harrumphed as he turned from Magnolia and Valerie, arms stitched back across his chest. "What do you humans know? Absolutely nothing . . . " He muttered beneath his breath, perturbed but satisfied with the outcome of this meeting.

"Oh, it's closed?" Shina asked, clearly disappointed. "Well, we could at least go take a look at it, just because," she said with a shrug.

"There we go, all healed!" Joey chirped as he left the Pokemon center. "I wonder where the stadium is? Maybe that way?" he said as he picked a random direction.

Rusty fumbled around in the shop looking to buy a few things during his travels. He didn't get out often but when time allowed he enjoyed to travel and see what pokemon were out and about in the world. His pokeball was clipped to his belt that was holding up his denim pants that had been rolled up well above his ankles. His feet sat above flip flops, while an opened sleeveless vest flapped around with his every movement. His darkened sun kissed skin was a sign of the hard work he did on the ranch in the sun, and his sun bleached hair was covered with a straw hat.

He thought the town seemed rather busier than he last remembered it being. He had heard whispers and rumors of a caravan nearing and once her arrived in town he was able to confirm these rumors. There was in fact something going on, and he thought why not join in the fun. But in order to go to some place so cold... he would first need to find a new set of clothes. While his clothes were suited well for long days on the ranch, they certainly would not help on snow covered mountains.

He let loose a disgruntled sigh, as he was not one to really shop, and he had no idea at all what he was going to purchase. "Argh... why much shopping be so difficult..."
