Sarri gulped, hearing Michael scream. She curled into a ball, feeling small and terrified. She winced as her hand hurt again, but at least she had the chance to wrap it with a bit of her tunic.
I must look a mess. Tearing up like a two year old and I'm Zelda's bodyguard?
She bit her lip as she heard Michael scream again. To imagine what horrors Tenebre was enacting on him was enough to give her more nightmares for weeks. She curled up tighter. It was different without her friends to help. Without Link and his Triforce of Courage and Zelda her Wisdom.

"Even if you did, it wouldn't be much use, considering the fact your on a series of islands surrounded by water with nothing but train tracks connecting us to land..." Mona trailed off. "I'm sorry we can't get her now, I really wish there was time." "If we make it back to the mainland getting Epona will be the first thing we do." Zelda said to him, thinking of her own horse as well. "Let's go now." "Alright, it's kind of a ways away on foot." Mona led the remainder of the group outside, and they began walking to the stables. "So what happened in your visions?" She decided to strike up a conversation. Zelda shuddered at the thought of her vision. "... We were battling Ganondorf. And we lost. He killed you and Sarri, and Link..." She looked at him. "He broke the Master Sword. Snapped it right in two, then stabbed you and killed me. That's why I woke up... I think this is a sign. We can't risk losing the Master Sword... What do we do?"

Sunoka sighed and shifted uncomfortably when Duo's braid brushed against her arm. "Some debris fell on my head when Tenebre attacked Hyrule..." She remembered it from her dream. The girl turned her head toward Duo. "Why... are you so close?..." She asked slightly uncomfortably. Another blush spread across her face as her eye-less face stared at him.

Link sighed and reached back to find the Master Sword resting in its sheath. Then he looked at Sarri's sword.
"My vision was with far less action. I was sitting in what I believe was Hyrule Field and someone was leaning against me. I could smell blood. I told them they needed medical attention, but they begged me to stay there for just a tad more... Then they sang. I'm not sure who it was. Even the gender was hard to tell. But It was definitely someone I'm close to...
'Take these tears and fill the sea, Water this wasteland, make it grow for me. As I lay by your side, dying. This is my last wish, On my dying breath I sing. May happiness come to you, dear Hero... Through these trying times...'
Then I woke up. I'm not sure what it means." He blinked back a tear as he remembered the intense sorrow he had felt in the dream. "Sarri never got to tell me her vision. But she was extremely troubled."

Later, Tenebre came back in, this time with a tub of water. Michael slowly looked up. "I'll do anything you ask! Just stop!!!" Tenebre's eyes lit up. Very bad time to say that...remove some of your helmet, at the mouth. Michael did what he was told after a few seconds, then sudennly Tenebre grabbed his head and thrust it under the liquid, Micahel screaming. until Michael stopped thrashing, Tenenbre held his head there. he brought his head back up, then said, Tell me- He thrust Michael;'s head under the liquid again, then brought it back up, kicjed Michael in the stomach, while Michael sucked in he thrust his head under the liquid, the stuff entering Michael's lungs. It burned, and it kept on until he coughed it all up almost a half hour later. "Stop this, please! I'm telling you I'll do anything!!" He wound up being dumped into the tub and a lid was pressed over it. He was stuck in there for hours.

"I wish I knew where that was from... If we have the time in the future, we can go to the Castle's library... If it's still intact right now." Zelda was completely clueless as to how Hyrule was doing at the time. "The Master Sword is the sword protected by those stones representing the goddesses or something like that, correct?" Mona asked. She wasn't sure about Hylian legends, stories didn't travel to Papuchia Village that often from the lack of visitors.

Sarri was beginning to try to block out the screams, letting her mind wander to her "happy place". There had been one time when she was with Zelda and they had visited one of the spirit springs.
Sarri felt tears of fear running down her face.
I am of no importance to them. The Ganondorf in my dream told me I was important somehow...
I- I am here because it's my duty to protect. Zelda would want me to go with Sunoka instead of her...
They're coming. I feel it.
She sat in the corner of her cell, and waited.

Tenebre left for another few hours, Michael now numb. Then he thought he saw something new. He looked up to see several buckets propped up so if there was too much movement, they would tip over towards him. Michael looked up o see a moblin holding up a large rock. "No...no..please no..please..." The moblin pretended to throw the rock, but Michael squirmed, and the buckets fell over, the pool of the firey liquid slowly moving towards the absolutely terreified Michael. "STOP! NO! HELP! SOMEONE! HELP! LINK!! ZELDA! SARRI!! MONA!! SOEMONE!"

Duo stole a look at her. "Last time I looked, this was MY bed. I sit where I please!" Of course, her warmth was nice... He forgot what it felt like to have warm blood pumping throug his veins. His skin was ice cold, like stone. However, a thought crossed his mind. "Tell me... what would you do if I said there was a way to get your sight back?"
Minda listened quietly. She wondered silently to herself about the situtation and how they would get out of it.

Hearing her name, she sat upright, a surge of courage rushing through her.
My duty is to protect...
"Michael..." The man whom she had been not quite sure of beforehand was calling out for help.
...to protect the innocent... She stood, feeling the strength returning to her legs. Taking off the sling that would encumber her, she walked to the door of the room, placing both her bloodied right hand and her left on the cool surface of the door.
The scent of musty dampness alerted her.
Dungeons?
She found a window in the door, slightly above her head, and she peered out into a dark hallway, hoping that nobody would come down the hallway.

It was a while later. The previous little bit, Tenebre tormented Michael with all these tortures and more the entire time, then left. The door opened again, but Michael didn't react. Tenebre walked in, but again no reaction. He brought up the knife out of a tub of liquid, then got ready to slash Michael. Still no reaction. Tenebre help it toward Michael, inching it closer. Michael kept staring at the ground, no longer with observation but as if he didn't have the strength to do anything else. Tenebre's eyes lit with satisfaction and absolute glee. " Rise, Micahel." Michael obeyed instantly. "Take this knife and stab yourself in the arm. Now." Michael grabbed the knife and stabbed it in his arm without hesitation, not even seeming to register the pain. He truly was ready. "Now you are ready. Come along Michael." He tore off His chains and walked away, Michael following with a slouched posture, his aura no longer observational and interest but with weakness and uncaring.

Sunoka gasped a bit. Her eyes would have widened, if they weren't completely torn up by the debris. "There's... a way... to get my eyes back?..." She asked, shocked by two things. One, that there was a way. And two, that Duo had actually told her about it. But did she truly want her sight back? After all, when she saw Tenebre in her dream, she was terrified. Being blind had a lot of advantages, as well as disadvantages. And if she did get her sight back, would her hearing remain the same?

Sarri's eyes widened as she watched Tenebre and Michael walk by. Seeing Michael broken like that jarred her.
"...Michael..." She watched with saddened eyes as they walked past her door.
She sighed and shivered, wondering what they were to do to her. She walked over to a bench in the center of the room and sat down, putting her head into the palms of her hands, ignoring the blood that soaked through the cloth.
"This has ought to be the worst time in Hyrule's history. Too many new variables... Too many grievances..."

Duo nodded. However he then corrected himself. "Indeed I know of a way. But I must know. I shal not waste the procedure on you if you are weak. How badly do you want your sight bak? Would you give up something? Like a trade?" He drummed his fingers on the bed. they were less than an inch away from her warm flesh. He was suprised that she didn't recoil from his cool touch.

Sunoka was too focused on Duo's words to notice his cold touch. "I..." She thought to herself. Did she want her sight back? If she got it back, she would be able to see her friend's faces and everything else clearly. But if she did get it back, what was Duo going to ask for in return? "... I... I would..." The girl didn't know anymore. "Do I truly want my sight back that badly?..." She wondered to herself. "What would you want... in return for my sight?" Sunoka finally asked.
