@Vengeful I'd really want to learn the flute. It just sounds so whimsical.
@Aakosir I'm with Manguusu. You shouldn't knock tabs. I've been playing for 6 years and I taught myself with tabs. I feel like if you're trained with sheet music, that's what you get stuck on, and you can't do anything for yourself.
@ScarletFrost you play the ACTUAL recorder? Like, the ones you get in 5th grade to play? AND the bagpipes!?
@Zack Sometimes bar chords are difficult for me to do on guitar because I'm double jointed in my fingers.

kingcorrupted I play trumpet, tuba, baritone and coronet(not exactly the same as the trumpet.) Also trying to learn clarinet from my girl.
Oh wow that's pretty awesome. I haven't really learned to play any instrument yet. sweatdrop But my former music teacher at school said I could play any instrument really, so idk.

Recorder: yes. Actually created a renaissance recorder trio called the Magpies. I have a beautiful pear wood recorder, alto, that plays Greensleeves hauntingly. I love it. I want a tenor; it was always my favorite. Bagpipes: I can't manage the drones or the actual bag, but the chanter, the part you blow in and the part you finger (does that sound dirty or is it just me?), that I can play. It takes a LOT of air pressure because it's a double-reed instrument.

ScarletFrost I have a beautiful pear wood recorder, alto, that plays Greensleeves hauntingly.
And as soon as I saw Greensleeves a gleeful smile took over my face X'D Greensleeves is my favourite song of all time. I like it even more than any of my favourite heavy metal songs... even my favourite Vocaloid songs can never outrank it and I mean... I'm really liking Vocaloids right now o.o

I know, the first time I heard what they were I thought that they would never sound good, though... But the more I heard about it the more curious I got as to what they actually sounded like. Now I can't stop listening to all the different songs by all these different characters >w<

Aakosir Nooo? I can read tabs and sheet music. I just prefer to teach myself the old fashioned way so I can play whatever. Tabs are easy for me, I just prefer the challenge. Ohh okay. I guess for me it's more that I can't jam with sheet music.ScarletFrost Recorder: yes. Actually created a renaissance recorder trio called the Magpies. It takes a LOT of air pressure because it's a double-reed instrument. That's actually pretty awesome. I was thinking of the thing we all played "Hot Crossed Buns" on.
I totally wish I could learn bagpipes. But I feel that it would be very annoying after a while. (And yes it does sound dirty)

Woot! I get to go home today! I don't like my mom's house. It is even worse because she isn't here. But she is coming home today and I finally get to go back to my delightfully crappy apartment. mrgreen

That's fine Twi. I haven't advertised yet. I was hoping to get some more people to post information on other issues the world's societies should address. Since the people in this guild are so intelligent, I offer anyone who has a heart's-work to educate others about. Please come over and let us know about it. I need some people who know about Conflict rescources, and it seems there was some posts about that here awhile back. I also would like to have people who know about environmentally friendly subjects to post what they know, and theorize. I also need more topics, so if anyone has a topic they would like to adopt as their own, I would give them a subforum to run and make them vice-caps. First Steps- An Educate/Debate GuildI really want to get a solid foundation of intelligent people, before I appeal to the general populace to come in and ruin things before they have begun.

Bleh. I've been feeling sick for a while now. And my panic attacks aren't getting any better.
And now I have this weird obsession about appendicitis... I've lost sleep over it and it's the worst panic attack series I've been having this past month (except the time when the wind was playing with the camp tab's doors... ^.^')
Bleh.
