The more he listened to Shinji about his clan, the more Deidalus became aware of just how dangerous a Konaga was. They weren't just a danger to their enemies, but to themselves as well. As his formally cheerful demeanor faded to one of an almost blank slate, the mask only broken by an almost imperceptible frown, Deidalus began to consider the repercussions of their abilities. Until I am aware of just what these 'Augmentations' are i will reserve my judgment. Suffice to say, If it causes them further pain to what must be an extraordinary and inescapable agony, then the benefits may not outweigh the drawbacks. Although he noticed the obvious signs of withholding information, Deidalus chose not to press that line of questioning in such a public area.

"As I am not fully aware of how you're 'Augmentations' work, I will say that in Miss Riko's case that using them in actual battle may be hazardous to her. Pain can be a gift or it can be a burden. Of that, I'm sure you are both well aware of. However, I will leave you, Shinji, in charge of finding out just where her limits lay in that area. For now, if an event or other circumstance arises, in which case she must fight or defend herself, It would be prudent for her to use everything else in her arsenal first. When you feel that she has successfully understood her limits, inform me and I will lift this limitation."

Pausing to let the information soak in, Deidalus took a breath before continuing with his train of thought. "This is not to weaken you, Riko, but to make you a better Kunoichi." Shifting his gaze towards Riko as he spoke, Deidalus attempted to stress the importance of this lesson. "it is obvious that Konaga's continue to use this augmentation ability despite it's negative drawbacks. If that is the case, then it would stand to reason that it would be a powerful trump card. However, like all power, without first harnessing and controlling it, it is useless and bestial. This will help you learn not to rely on it. The only time you may lift this restriction is in the event that you must protect a member of this village, if you are in dire need, or at the behest of Shinji or myself."

Smiling once again, he faced both of the Konaga's and inclined his head in an informal bow. "I'm sure you will both exceed all expectations, but alas I must search for the rest of our squad. If there is anything else, I shall not be too far." Deidalus said as he prepared to search for the last two members of his team.

Having said his piece, Deidalus walked away from the two before glancing around the training grounds in search of one of the other two team members. As he did so, he noticed a girl, judging by her body shape and the style of her hair, searching the ground near a training dummy for something. Walking over to her general area, Deidalus kept his eye on the ground, to make sure that he did not step on whatever she may be searching for.

As he neared her, he noticed out of the corner of his eye a glint on the ground. It was close beside her, but she was searching in the wrong direction. Maneuvering himself around the training dummy, Deidalus bent over and carefully picked the object up off the ground. Looking at it, he recognized that he was holding a pair of glasses. The glasses appeared to be a bit familiar but he couldn't quite place where. Straightening back up, he looked down at the young woman, " Are these yours?" He said, offering the eye-wear back to her.

Deidalus let a slim smile grace his lips as he realized just why he recognized the glasses. When she placed the glasses on, he realized he had found another member of his squad. Backtracking mentally through her profile, he remembered her name was Emily. Hayata Emily, a medical student and user of Doton jutsu. He also remembered the classified information that was slipped into the folder as well. He waited til she stood up straight from her bow before addressing her.

"Hayata Emily? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Deidalus and you have been assigned by our beloved Tsuchikage as a part of my squad." Running his left hand through his bangs, Deidalus scratched the back of his neck before speaking again. "What exactly were you practicing on prior to my arrival? Perhaps, I could assist you with it while I am here?"

Emily finshed bowwing and stood tall even tho she wasnt.The thought of being on Deidalus team was shocking but kept it hiddin.To answer her new Sensei's question she thought it be best to show.Throwing a punch into the air and smiled."Im working on my hand to hand skills,i would love some assists Deidalus Sensei."She paused for moment placed her hand on her hips."If im going to be a medic i need to be able to protect myself right."

Kai watched Rue do the last requested justu and held out a headband, she usually kept two on her and one as her own. "Good! Hey Lana, you wanna do the test too?" She turned her head and tilted it back just a bit as bored eyes looked at the sky but her voice was directed at Lana.

It was with a grimace, that Deidalus spoke about his own shortcomings. "I will gladly assist you in your endeavor. However, Taijutsu was never my strong suit. I will teach you a move I happen to know quite well, if taijutsu is what you truly wish to learn. The move is known as Tsuruhashihijishou or more commonly known as the Pickaxe Elbow." Gesturing towards the dummy, he maneuvered himself close to the training tool. "In order to use this technique, you must position your arm in a ninety degree angle.Your hand should be placed against your forehead, palm angled towards your target. By having your hand travel down to the center of your chest, your elbow will follow and smash into the target."

Bringing his elbow down. Deidalus smashed his elbow into the top of the dummy. The impact jarred the doll and caused it to rock back a bit, despite being planted into the ground. "The technique really isn't at all powerful, however, it should be sufficient enough for anything you may face at your level. Remember that the key to any fight, is to know when and where to strike, as well as what is best for the situation at hand." Stepping away from the dummy, he gestured for Emily to give it her best shot, "Fire away!"
