"Wow, that is very sad. But fortunately, or unfortunately some might say, I will never have to experience the loss of a parent. I have never met mine. Not that I would ever want to meet my father, disgusting beast, I mean, stupid ungrateful... jerk. It has been just me and my sister as long as I can remember. And that, as young as I am, is a suprising amount of time."

Rubbing his hands together, Korin grinned from ear to ear. "Prodigious! Would you rather handle the domestics, shelter, a fire, perhaps something comfortable to sleep on. Or would you prefer to set about on the procuring of us something to eat? I know of at least several varieties of fruit around here, and I am pretty sure, should one of us use your bow, that there are some deer in the immediate vincinty, perhaps moose even."

Korins stomach chose that particular moment to growl. A familiar sound to his own ears, but shockingly embarassing to have this, almost perfect stranger hear it. Blushing, he started stumbling over his own words again. "Oh, uh, I, um. I appear to be hungrier than I thought. Candy is good for an energy rush, but it's not so good in the long run. I uh th-think maybe I'll go gather something to eat. It's just, um, yeah... ok."

Turning, Korin scrambled away, tripping not once, but three times in his attempt to put distance between them. Minutes later, gathering fruit and following the tracks of some animal, probably a dear, Korin was talking to himself. "What was that? You sounded like a complete idiot. Wait, why do I care?" Realizing that he did, he stopped dead in his tracks. "Why do I care?"

Calypso huffed some smoke and turned back into the trees.
Simply a part of the growing process. It slows down once I reach a certain age but dragons never really stop growing.
He said and began to break off dead branches for firewood.

Lura blinked at the young ones and decided to nap until the food was ready. She lay her head on the ground and sighed deeply. She hadn't slept in a few weeks. Not long for a dragon but still, she was tired.

Soon after the campfire was blazing merrily, Korin returned with food. Over one shoulder he carried two dear, large bucks, and in his hand he carried his shirt, knotted like a sack, bulging with fruit. "Do you think this will be enough food for the night? I wasn't sure how hungry you would be."

Setting the carcasses down, Korin stretched. "You do very good work for such a small amount of time, did you know that?"

Calypso nodded.
Yes, to a degree but eventually you get used to it. I would compare them to growing pains in humans.
He said and as he walked, he reached down and plucked a scale from his leg, handing it back to the boy.
The next one that grows in will be a bit larger as well as darker.

Kai took the scale and inspected it, his brain going into hunter mode and estimating the value of the scale for a moment before sighing, "Yeah, growing up stinks...lots of things change.." he said before grinned and patting Calypso's side, "You're gonna look cool once they all come in."



Nari giggled as she moved close to Korin and used a spare cloth from her pouch to wipe the juice from his chin, "No thank you...I think those are a bit strong for me.." she said, meaning both smell and taste, as she moved back to her spot and looked at the fire as he deer meat cooked, "As for the other one...either bury it, which would be a hassle..or toss it a bit away so the bears don't come to close."

(Well, I PMed her at least a week ago and haven't heard anything back. I dunno. Maybe Max just wants to join up with the rest of the group for now?(If I've got characters/plots wrong, sorry.))
Starting to make a comfortable place for himself, Achiu remembered his manors. He turned to Yuran. "Is there anything you would like me to do to help, Doc?"

Another thought hit him and he looked around. "By the way, has anyone seen Yamamoto? He's an elderly Chinese dragon, though he might be in human form. He came down with Ci'nala and me from the mountain, but I left him by Lura and the others a little while ago..."

((Before I post, could someone give me a 1 sentance up to 1 paragraph summary of what's happened since my last post...? My mind is a bit blank at the moment and I can't think straight enough to read up to now...))

((Not too much...Lura, Eclipse and Aichu are hanging out at the original campsite, Calypso and Kai are getting firewood, and the two hunters are somewhere in the forest heading toward the docks/resort.))


"I meant cooler.. you look awesome now, but I love darker colors like dark blue or dark green, most everything except pink..and dark red.." Kai said as he finally pocketed the scale.

Eclipse yawned and glanced around, noting that the young dragon and Kai were still out, but he said nothing since it'd be hard for Kai to hurt himself with even a young dragon around. Though after a moment his stomach growled loudly..


Nari smiled, "That would be a good idea since you like to use them as bag's too.. As for what now..how about we talk? Like why do you hunt dragons alone?" that was probably the only thing that was strange to her since she was used to being with 5 other people usually.
