I know the force organisation chart off by hand, it was the one thing that I kept with me at all times. We're just planning to increase the points because none of the army lists contain fortifications.
We all do, the core of it hasn't changed since the 3rd edition. wink

Speaking of fortifications, what did you have in mind? Your army is awfully mobile (not in a bad way either!) so hunkering down behind an Aegis line or occupying a Bastion seems a bit wasted on them.

I am surprised though, no Stormravens? surprised

I was thinking of a Bastion for my army with a quad gun for anti-aircraft fire. Thinking about it, I could drop the Land Raider for the Storm Raven, gives me the same amount of transport space for a less of the price.

How many units start in reserve by the way? If it is a fair share, I'd advice on dropping the quad in favour of a communications relay. wink

Unless facing Guard with advisors.. Assassinate them first! With an orbital strike or something.. gonk

Well the Interceptor Squad and the Terminators have Deep Strike so the two units can come in from reserve. A comms relay might come in handy. I'm also considering of dropping the Rhino with the purifier unit and sticking them in the Land Raider if I don't take a Storm Raven. Both are Assault Vehicles so come in close and take on the enemy.

Another big pro for taking a Stormraven would be that it can act as both a beefed up transport and gunship / anti-air unit. Not sure if your gaming scene is flyer heavy, but that's always another good reason to take a flyer yourself. I doubt you'll be seeing many flying circuses, but it never hurts to have something in the air.

Brookman - So far few people have flyers in their armies. We have two Helldrakes, a Storm Talon, Storm Eagle and a Valkyrie. I believe that many more people are going to be including flyers as time goes on. I know a friend of mine is going to be beefing up his Ork army with a few Blitza Bommers.

Assault vehicles and bigger squads are the way to go with the Grey Knights in my humble opinion.

I'd definitely have to agree with you in that respect. If I had the points I'd be tempted to take a Brotherhood Champion to go with the unit.

That might be something to look into when looking to expand the army to a full 2000 points: More hitting power in melee. wink

That's something to consider. And if I drop the psybolt ammunition from the strike squads, and coupled with the drop in points by taking a Stormraven instead of a Land Raider Crusader then it could work.
