”No worries," she said breezily. "I have a tendency to be quite silly on occasion... which happens to be most of the time," she said, laughing. "Can I touch your face? I want to know what you look like," she asked politely.

Aurora blinked. Why not? "Ah, okay. I do not know many of the others, though, so I apologize in advance. I am, you could say, rather a wallflower." She stood and made her way to the door, Altan following. After opening it, she paused. "Left or right?"

Arielle frowned. It seemed that there were not many rooms left open. Not that it was a bad thing--it was very good! It meant that she must be doing something right as Headmistress. Picking a room at random, she hoped it would all work out. "Here." She wrote a note. "This is your room and your roommate." On the back of Kindra's schedule, she wrote yet another note that excused her from classes the next day and excused her from wearing her uniform until further notice.

Ares raised an eyebrow at the... unusual request, but couldn't find a reason to deny it. "Sure, I guess." This was certainly a weird mortal. He couldn't say he minded, though. She was nice enough, and didn't run away from him. She also didn't treat him like something amazing, which he wasn't too used to, but he couldn't say he didn't like it.

{{Oooh! Maybe Ari will be the first mortal Ares begins to appreciate! biggrin }}
Ever just kept glancing back and forth between Ares and Ari in complete shock. Ares actually seemed to be enjoying conversing with Ari, exchanging jabs, and Ari knew it was Ares, God of War, and she wasn't intimidated or ready to report her! This was actually pretty cool. Definitely something out of the Twilight Zone, a TV show she had heard other girls talking about, but it was still cool!
Ever let those two talk amongst themselves and slowly began to walk over toward the window where the tiny, beautiful ball of light was hanging. One of the creatures from the lake was actually hovering in her window!
She smiled softly at the creature and carefully held out her hand. The ball of light slowly flitted over to her hand, just barely brushed it, and then zoomed backward. Ever giggled softly at the static electricity she felt from it and the cute little way it moved in the air.

Caroline grinned, and jumped up. "Then we'll both get to meet the others! It's win-win!" Her smile was brilliant and charming - dragons had innate glamor to them, and the key to success was knowing how to win people over.
"Let's go.... left," she said with utmost seriousness. "I believe I just may hear snippets of conversation from there. I could be crazy though - or right, or both."

Aurora allowed a short giggle at Caroline's words. She was definitely never going to be a boring one, this Caroline Enlil. "Left it is." Turning left and beginning to head down the hallway, she asked, "What grade are you in?"

”Sweet," Ari said. She moved closer and placed her hands on his shoulders, using those to navigate her way to his face. With a look of concentration, she started at his forehead, making long gentle sweeps with her fingers. She moved quickly down his temples and around his brow. She was very careful around his eyes, and traced the shape of his nose. Lastly, she traced the outline of his mouth and jawline.
When she finished, she stepped back and pondered. "Not bad," she said, smiling. "Nice catch, Ev," she added in afterthought. "Thanks," she added to Ares, "It's nice to know who I'm talking to... and I know it's a little weird," she said apologetically.

Ares turned his head when he heard Evermore giggle. It was such a soft sound, and he didn't know if he had heard it like that. It was cute. He smiled at it, a smile that was barely there, but unmistakeably present.
He chuckled at Ari's comments, a grin slipping on his face. She thought he was a nice catch, huh? "Yeah, I guess it would be nice to see who you're talking to. Never had to deal with it myself."

The ball of light seemed to like Ever's giggle. It took it as a good sign. It danced up to her again, brushed her hand lightly, and then skirted back once more. Then it bounced up and down in the air before her and then zoomed around Ever in a circle, starting at her feet and quickly going up to her head. It left trails of sparkly light behind it.
Ever laughed at this and twirled slowly in place. This wasn't her normal type of behavior, but the light was so pretty and fun!

Albtraum Der Angst ((Who wants to feel me in on what's going on?)) {{ smile Most of the girls are in their dorms now, having finished supper. And everyone seems to be finding themselves in or going toward Ever's room. lol! Ares is in there and so is one of the light fairies from the lake. Right now, just Ares, Ever, and Ari, plus the light fairy, are in there. Caroline and Aurora are touring the school, but they're heading in the direction of Ever's room. I'd say it's about 8 at night.}}

((yes, PARTY!))
Caroline cheered as she followed her new friend Aurora. The girl was quiet, but the dragon had enough zest for the both of them. "I'm a freshman," she admitted. "It seems the upper classes are bigger, though - hey, whose room is this? One, two, three voices. I hear them... Oh, I think I know...."
Her excited babbling trailed off. One of the auras in there was familiar - she thought maybe it belonged to Evermore.

Ares watched Evermore, entranced. This was not the Evermore he normally saw, and it was wonderful. She seemed... happy, even after a day like the one she'd just had. She was laughing and dancing (albeit with that annoying fairy from earlier), and it was...
It was beautiful.
