He wanted to argue though she was right. Nik was a black wolf, Shilo was a white one. He didn't know how that worked, and how Moya turned into a brown wolf. But that wasn't really important, his father had been silver and white. Everyone was different. 'No really?'

"I was just saying it was cute, you don't have to be snarky about it." She stuck her tongue out at him and smiled, looking at the still sleeping Shilo. "I wonder what she dreams about."

'If we're lucky? Ice cream lakes that she can swim around all day.' When she stuck her tongue out at him he was tempted to shoot up and lick her. Except that would involve waking up Shilo, and she was way too calm while she slept to be that cruel.

Moya chuckled and stood up, walking over and rubbing between his ears. "Yeah." She gently ran her fingers through Shilo's fur and sat on the floor next to Nik.

He growled softly in approval at that, closing his eyes until she pulled away from him. He liked when she did that, as stupid as it seemed. As she pet Shilo he nudged her free hand with his nose, licking her fingers and in between.

Moya giggled and rubbed between his ears again, starting to hum softly the tune Nik's mother did all the time, or so she figured anyway.

As the lullaby fell from her lips he smiled to himself, resting his head on his paws as he listened to her. She was a fast learner, it had taken him years to learn that song. Even with his mother singing it so often. 'I'll go get started on dinner.' Pulling away carefully he licked her face, padding downstairs and shifting back when he was in the kitchen.

Moya nodded and picked Shilo up carefully, putting her back into the crib. For one of energy she sure did sleep a lot. She soon wondered back downstairs to watch Nik cook.

He was stifling yawns despite how much sleep he had gotten, smiling when he saw Moya come in. "Get tired of watching her sleep? Most parents can't get enough of it." Finished with the alfredo and satisfied the chicken was done he turned everything off, serving her a plate.

She smiled and took her plate, finally just sitting down at the table. It took a lot not to sit straight but she managed, and sat on the chair indian style even though it didn't look right. "It was a toss up between watching you cook and watching her sleep. she sleeps more often then you cook so I went for the cooking man." She smiled and started to eat quietly.

"Hey, who cooked while you were pregnant, woman?" Still smiling he got his own plate, sitting acrossed from her and eating before he even really sat down. He didn't even realize he was this hungry.

Moya chuckled softly and ate a few more bites. "This is really good babe." She smiled up at him and finished her food, her stomach feeling like it would burst. She got up and put her dishes in the sink, filling it with water and soap.

He smiled back before he finished as well, setting his plate in the sink and pulling her with him. "Leave that for later." For now, he just wanted her, and a grin stayed on his face as he pulled her up to their room.

Moya smiled and turned off the water, before following him up to their bedroom. She sat on the edge of the bed and leaned back, resting on her elbows.
