Issac didn't say a word as he was punched. He remained silent for a while, thinking about things. He glanced at Deirdre out of the corner of his eye and felt a pang of jealousy for his brother. "He's always gotten everything. I was watching her for years, before anyone even realized she existed. I watched her grow up in misery, and figured if Lucifer would cut me a break, I'd find a way to make her smile. And my brother was the ONLY one who knew about my intentions... He gets everything. The girl. Being turned into a demon instead of a lousy fallen angel.. His own region in abbadon..." Issac fell silent.

Iorwerth frowned, knowing exactly what 'misery' Issac was referring to. "He probably knows more about her than Azathoth and myself put together. I certainly didn't expect this, though.."

Deirdre remained silent.

Kazekami hoisted Iorwerth up and let his full weight lean on her.
"Come on. Time to butt in, I suppose."
She grinned a half smile to him and walked slowly over,
being careful not to hurt him further.

Antoinette released Issac and looked at him for a moment before shaking her head. "So that's what this is about. Jealousy. More "I love you's". More feeling sorry for yourselves."

Antoinette and Alice-Lee spontaneously combusted. How anti-climactic.

Even worse, none of the other characters seemed to notice or even be effected. Their entire existence ceased.

Isaac sighed, resting his brow in his hands. "Can you blame me?" He inquired in a meek voice, offering little explanation.

Iorwerth struggled to support his own weight in an effort to not burden Kazekami. Her words had been heart-felt and returned his affinity, but his heart still felt the ice she planted before the attack. "How can we not? You kidnapped Deirdre. You mauled your brother. Albeit, there is little faith in him, but we do know him at least a fraction more than you. Given your actions its hard to not choose a side."

Deirdre persisted in her silence, shredded by her feelings. Her gaze hovered on Azathoth. Did he love her? Could he love her? Who could? She was just a shell of her former self, whomever that may have been.

Who in the nine hells am I?!

Her hands shot to either side of her head as she cried out in pain. Doubling over onto the ground, a continuous chorus of whimpers rose from the ground her face was burrowed against.

"s**t!"
Isaac shot to her side before anyone had a chance to react. He gently grasped her head and placed her upon his lap. Isaac carefully rested his hand on the back of her neck, a glowing white light emanating from the tips of his fingers. "Byddwch yn dawel, fy Frenhines. Mae hyn yn straen wedi cymryd doll ar eich meddwl. Anadlwch ac yn caniatáu eich hun i fod yn gyfforddus. Mae eich atgofion yn wyneb. Yr wyf yma, yn awr ac am byth gan fy mod wedi bod ers i chi eu geni. Peidiwch â bod ofn."** He purred softly to Deirdre.

((**Translation: Be calm, my Queen. This stress has taken a toll on your mind. Breathe and allow yourself to be at ease. Your memories are surfacing. I am here, now and forever as I have been since you were born. Don't be afraid. ))

Slowly her whimpers began to subside and one could swear a sigh of relief escaped her as Isaac spoke to her in her native tongue.

Azathoth miserably outstretched an arm in Deirdre's direction, his face contorted with pain. Perhaps the demon really had developed feelings for the gentle fae. Blood stained tears rolled down his face while their emotion of origin was unknown. Love? Hurt? Sorrow? Betrayal? Or perhaps even hatred. "Please..." He rasped between pants for air. Azathoth knew he was far from a saint himself, yet Isaac had done unforgivable things in their mutual past. "Don't listen to him.... He'll hurt you... Please, Deirdre." The words struggled to take form. Their battle had taken a harsh toll on Azathoth. He had been too caught in his blind rage against his brother, arrogantly fighting for revenge without minding caution with each move.

Iorwerth observed the two brothers. Both seemed at odds for his Queen. Instinctively he pulled Kazekami closer despite her not being at risk. Realizing his own actions his gaze turned to her, a frustrated frown crossing his features. Where did he stand with her? Why couldn't she let him in? Questions wracked his mind, and as they did his inner fire dwindled. Every strand of doubt lowered his core temperature. His affinity didn't evade him this time, but it certainly was not in it's former life.

[[OOC: WOOHOO. Bringing back the life after four years! Whats Isaac's story? Does Azathoth love her for the right reasons, assuming he ever gets over MILA. THERE. Jesus. I called her "Mira" but his ******** cat is Mira. So that doesn't work. WE DIDN'T CATCH THAT EITHER. Ugh. Also, with two characters having exploded, maybe you should consider creating a new one? Its a little unfair that I have, uh, four?]]

As Azathoth reached a bruised and battered hand out to Deirdre, Kazekami felt Iorwerth turn to her as she tried to support as much of his body weight as he would allow. She dared not meet his gaze. A cold sweat- running its shivering length from her head to her feet- overtook her, and instantly she was transported back to that day... The day the Watcher found her.

Shaking her head a bit to clear the painful memories from her mind, she tried to subdue the thoughts of Iorwerth down into some dark place inside of her. She knew what she said hurt him deeply..

"I have no one, and I have nothing. I am alone, and that's the way it will stay untill my dying day. I deserve less than what I have. Chase something else, Iorwerth. I'm broken, and I'm not worth it. Find someone better; someone who won't leave you when you're in pain. You're too dear to me to be hurt like that."

'I lead a painful existence, don't I?' Kazekami thought, the smallest twinge of a grimace crossing her face, 'I push away everyone and run from everything. My, what a coward I am.'

Thinking of all the times Iorwerth had been kind to her, all the times he had given her that soft look that told her she could trust him, simply made her heart ache with the deep pain she new all too well. This deep, comfortable pain... would she ever be rid of it? Would she ever allow herself to be rid of it?

Suddenly, Kazekami felt another chill... yet it didn't come from her. She looked over at Iorwerth. He seemed to be getting paler by the second.
Her eyes widened, a look of shock and pain shot across her usually cold and distant face.
"Iorwerth?" She placed a hand on his chest to feel his heart rate, "Please tell me you're okay..." She added in a soft voice, not sure if she wanted him to hear or not.

[OOC: OMG, I can't believe this is my first post in just about 4 years. I hope I did well! Forgive me if it's not long enough or if my writing isn't up to par, I haven't written for pleasure in so long crying
Have fun with it! Hopefully I gave you enough to go on.]

Mildy flinching away from her touch, Iorwerth met Kazikame's gaze, uncertainty and pain reflecting in his eyes. His temperature was rapidly dropping to the point where his skin was comparable to that of a sheet of ice.

"I don't know." A simple statement accompanied by a slight a shiver in his voice.

Deirdre stirred in Isaac's lap, slowly and cautiously rising to a sitting position. In an almost daze she outstretched a shaky hand to caress his cheek.

"You, my lovely, are pathetic." Vicious laughter danced in her voice. Without missing a beat, Deirdre's hand retracted and then slammed it's way back to Isaac's face, sending him tumbling backwards several feet.

Isaac rolled himself further to safety, quickly gaining his footing and standing to face Deirdre. Shock plastered itself on the handsome angel's face. "My Queen? What has come over you?" Isaac inquired as he gingerly rubbed the bruising cheek. In all the years he spent observing, and sometimes even protecting the young Fae, she had never exhibited this style of behavior. It was if she had morphed into a different person.

"Nothing has come over me other than the realization of who I am, which I seemed to have locked away from myself in a moment of cowardice. You see, now I understand. I am Queen. I have a responsibility to be an efficient monarch for my people. I'm starting by establishing boundaries." Flames licked at Deirdre's feet as she spoke while snowflakes drifted from the tips of her fingers. It was impossible to infer her emotional state.

Over the course of her words, Azathoth had quietly struggled to his feet behing Deirdre's back. "Deirdre..." Sorrow engulfed his features as he wrapped his arms around her. "Please be reasonable. I know you have your duties as Queen, and that you have a title that demands a degree of respect and to another extent, understanding... This is not how to get your point across." His voice was quiet and low, almost a whisper against her ear and with each word she struggled to escape his grasp.

Iorwerth swayed in his stance, unable to continue to bear the abnormal chill coursing through his veins. His weight collapsed on his left leg sending him in an audible thud and slight cracking noise and he landed on his side. "I'm fairly certain that I am not alright." Iorwerth winced as carefully maneuvered himself onto his back, lightly pressing on his ribs. "Deirdre doesn't seem to be alright either."

"I have never been better. I'm finally back in my right frame of mind and not in a mindset of a hapless child." Deirdre hissed, still trying to squirm out of Azathoth's grasp.
