Elrothiel nodded, though she was feeling slightly uneasy. Maybe it wasn't the Rohirrim then but she suspected that they would soon run into something or other. She shrugged. They'd think about that obstacle when they came to it. She murmured some words of encouragement to Sol in elvish and he increased his stride further.

Looking back behind him occasionally to see if Elrothiel was still keeping pace with him, though his ears could tell him that she had no trouble keeping neck and neck with him; this he admired, the rumors of the elves were true after all. But he wondered about something, a slight tinge of uneasiness coming over him for a moment, but he couldn't place his finger on it. Perhaps it was nothing, he would worry about it later. "Tell me Elrothiel, once we reach Gondor, do you know the way to Minas Tirith?"

"Roughly." Elrothiel answered, brushing a stray strand of hair lightly out of her eyes. "I've travelled there before, it was a long time ago but I still remember roughly where everything is." She grinned again. "We may have to improvise a bit."

At her comment, his brow arched slightly, curious as to what she meant. He trusted her sense of direction, but at the word "improvise" he was caught off guard, not sure as to the point of the message. "What do you mean by improvise?"

"In case I forget." Elrothiel explained. "I don't think it's likely but if we cross in a place I'm unfamiliar with it might be more difficult. Not to mention the land may have changed a bit since I was last there. We'll deal with that if and when we come to it though."

"Indeed, let us pray that you are right." He felt pretty confident in the elf, but still, he could not shake the sense of uneasiness that he had just gotten himself into way more than he could handle, but this was not the time to worry about it. They were making good progress, the city of Edoras now just a vague speck on the horizon.

Elrothiel rode on in silence for a bit, cheerfully trying to shake off her uneasiness. After a while she slowed Sol down to a trot, not wanting to tire him out in case they ran into trouble later. It also gave her the opportunity to keep a more careful lookout. She constantly scanned the horizon, reassuring herself that they were in no immediate danger.

((Wow... haven't posted in a while. sweatdrop ))

Tyson slowed his horse again, stopping in a still open part of the plains that never seemed to end. He gazed at the sun, watching at it lowered until turning his attention to Nessa who had slowed close behind. "We will sleep here tonight. I do not want to tire the horses, as much as I'd like to ride through the night," he explained as he dismounted, already loosening the sinch that kept the horse saddle well placed on his steed'd back. He patted the horses shoulder, wettening his palm with the hot sweat. Indeed it was time for a rest.

Nessa spoke sweet words to her horse, praising the bay for a good day's work. The horse winnied and went to grazing almost instantly, snorting as he picked at the grass. Nessa manauvered to removed the saddle, spreading the saddle blanket across the ground for her to sit on later. "I'll get some fire wood and kindling to start," she said, putting down her bow and keeping her sword at her side.

Tyson nodded simply, preparing a place for him to rest as well and then pulling his water skin from his bag to take a drink. He trusted that Nessa could handle the simple task.

((Opps, I just noticed I used my name on the other rp sorry))

"Oh," She said, quickly removing her wing from her back. "Yes," She said, taking his hand. "Thankyou. I'm Amara Kavern. Daughter of the unknown. PLeased to meet you," She bowed.

Ranu was rather taken aback by this friendly attitude, and slowly relaxed his hand from his sword pommel. "I am Ranu Blackheart, Son of the ice." He said softly, but kindly, to cover for the fact he was still composing himself. "Why are you here, Amara Kavern?" He demanded in the same tone.

After running along the trail of those of the mixed race party that went on foot for some reason... He followed the lone trail.

His pace slowed... his breaths deep... something different in the air... Blood...

He roared with the thrill of the hunt. His pray wounded... close. not even 2 miles off... The Hura-ki (spelling) drew his battle axe and went in a dead sprint.

They had ridden for a good while now, and were close to reaching the Eastfold. They had came a good ways in such a short time, though he was beginning to grow slightly concerned for Lunarexion, who was beginning to tire, his back drenched in sweat. He was certain Sol could keep going, because he was built for long journeys such as this, but he pulled the reigns back slightly, slowing Lunarexion down to a moderately paced canter, his head turning back to the side to stare over at Elrothiel, ready to inquire as to her thoughts on when they should stop and set up camp. The midday sun was long behind them, now just barely visible over the top of the White Mountains. "Shall we stop and set up camp here?"

Elrothiel noticed Lunarexion tiring as well and nodded. She looked around for a decent place to camp and saw a rough outcrop a couple of minutes away. She pointed it out to Eroswyn, "There's an outcrop over there that should give us a bit of shelter." She said, "It will also mean that it will be harder to spot us if anyone else is crossing from the plains."

"Same reson you are, I hope." She smiled. "I am on my way to gondor(?) to help with the war for men. "(?) She paused, letting the words soak in. Before he said anything, she added quickly, "Of course, I'd been on the mens side..." Amara then noticed a few leaves in her hair and flicked them out.

Ranu's arms crossed, while his eyebrow rose, "Since when do the elves remember the past alliances?" He asked, "And have you come alone?" He looked around, suddenly fearing an Ambush.

"Elf?" She questioned. "I am no elf. I am a Hybrid. Half elf and half human." She said proudly. Then, noticing the second question, "I'm alone..." when he turnedhis head, she jumped and said boo! ((sorry, couldn't resist.))
