A light smile came to Kazemarus face as the began their battle. He always enjoyed watching a good fight, even if there was a rather large power gap between the two of them. He walked back a few more feet so he cold give them more room and also not accidentally get struck at by who knows what. He could probably block what ever strayed his way but he'd rather not risk it. He let out a low whistle as Kasen used his Hado. That looks powerful, even better then mine and that's the one Hado that I excel at using to, and that combo with the kick is amazing to im going to have to remember that one. Kazemaru thought to himself as he watched the fight go on from a distance. He stood up perfectly straight and crossed his arms lightly as he watched the battle go on, a light smile on his face. Looks like getting lost isn't all that bad.

Aislinn counted herself lucky that Kasen hadn't yet mastered unspoken demon arts or she might have had no warning at all. As it was, the chopping motion he'd used to parry her lunge was enough to put her slightly off balance. Her lung was deep and low, and she had planned to recover forward and continue the assault, but his counter was too strong.
With supreme effort, she recovered back, thigh muscles burning in protest. She managed to slide her left foot back just as the hado struck. Due to this movement, it shot through the side of her foot, taking off a sizable semicircle of flesh and tendons. Ash hissed in pain, luminous blue eyes sparking in frustration. Unfortunately, Kasen's assault wasn't finished. He aimed a kick at her retreating form, but, due to chance and the timing of her movement, it only grazed her shoulder.
Aislinn retreated several steps, stumbling as she rested her weight on her injured foot. Kasen's lightning had shorn through several tendons and she couldn't move the last three toes of her foot. The foot itself, or rather, several of the metatarsals were probably broken. Ash scowled, resuming her usual posture, but her weight rested heavily on her back foot. How the hell was she supposed fight in her usual style with a broken foot? She thought, but did not voice, a string of Gaelic curses.
I can bear it, she though, biting the inside of her cheek until it bled. Whatever it takes to win. "You'll have to teach me that one some time," Was all she said.

Kasen grin and said ,"Only if you can survive." He inhaled a seconds worth of air and exhaled finished a deep cleansing breath as he needed air for a second. He was in the air still and back-flipped and landed a few feet away but his landing shook him up a bit as he hadn't practiced acrobatic moves for a while now. The injury was dangerous as the tendon were the tissue that connected the muscle to the bone and it was dangerous to walk with those nearly burned away. "You sure you want to fight with that injured leg?" Kasen asked to make sure she was okay as this was only a practice to get the hanging of her sword, but he may have pushed it a bit getting caught up in the fight.
Kasen sheathed his sword and paused for a while waiting for Aislinn's reply as he kneeled down for a second and waited for anything that would come at him, even if it was an attack.

"Well you seem all fit to cop, aren'cha," There was no ignoring the antagonistic tone to Aislinn's voice, and she immediately regretted her words. The moment Kasen had sheathed his sword, she had come back to herself a bit, recalling, for the first time since the fight had started, why they had been sparring to begin with.
She sighed, sheathing her blade before she could change her mind and do something stupid. She would need to have her foot tended before she thought about sparring again. So much of her movement depended on her legs and overall speed that any damage sustained ought to have been treated immediately. She certainly didn't want any complications from a sloppily-healed wound.
"Sorry, there, Kasen," She said, offering a bit of an apologetic glance. "Caught me wrong. I'll need me foot looked after,"

"Don't worry about it, I'll make sure you get tended for that." Kasen said as he disappeared in a flash and now Aislinn was now in Kasen's arm as he was about to take her to squad 4 for a small healing for the foot. "We're going to fourth squad's healing room for the obvious healing, and don't worry, it won't hurt. But when you're healed, I'll show something that may surprise you." Kasen said with a smile as he began to shunpo towards squad four with each step increasing in pace and had disappeared from the area forgetting the other person who he met earlier and was lost.

Kazemaru looked at Aislinns leg then at Kasen. That was a pretty good fight but he went a little bit over board with the Hado. He thought to himself thinking back to the Hado that he used on her. He lost sight of Kasen suddenly, only to see him pop up next to the girl. Wait, what He thought and in the moment they were gone. "Wait come back!" He called desperately after them. "I'm still lost..." He said in a meek voice. He breathed a heavy sigh and then pulled out his map again. "Alright so if I take a left here.." He said aloud wandering off once again in search of his way back to his squads area.

Aislinn blushed furiously as Kasen scooped her up in his arms. She was pretty tomboyish when it came to attitude, and she had never, never concerned herself with physical attraction or contact with the opposite sex beyond sports. She was a bit thrown off by Kasen's casual approach to carrying her. Really, all she needed was a shoulder to lean against and she would have been able to hobble her way to the healers just as easily.
"C'n carry meself," She mumbled, though she was forced to hold tightly to Kasen's shirt as he flash-stepped away from the training grounds. "Anyway, think y' forgot th' other one back there,"

Kasen grinned as he looked to see her face quickly turning red after picking her up, which was always fun to see every time he picked someone up. "I know about him, he should be able to take care of himself, I have faith that he and that strange map of his will lead him to safety....That is unless he wanders into squad 12..." Kasen said jokingly at the last sentence as he continued to use his shunpo to make sure she gets to squad four, since he had no way of healing anyone nor had anything to heal her with.

Stepping into the Zanpakuto training grounds, Miyako feels the familiar rush of excitement as her mind and body prepared themselves, almost unconsciously, for the practice. Tying her hair back, she starts running her mind through the focusing exercises that she was taught in life by her foster father.
Setting up a practice dummy, complete with a cardboard likeness of a Hollow's mask, Miyako takes her stance for Battojutsu. It's been a long time since Miyako has practiced this technique, and there are subtle, but noticeable, differences between her human body and her spirit body that, together, made it necessary to practice often to adjust if she wished to survive combat with a real Hollow or, as the more immediate desire was, learn the name of her Zanpakuto, to achieve and master the use of her Shikai.
Although not an overly ambitious woman, any time Miyako sets a goal, she refuses to back down from completing the goal. It's how she finally managed to form a band and start singing, after all. Beyond achieving Shikai, Miyako has one overarching goal; to work toward becoming Vice Captain of a squad. And to do that, she first needed to be accepted into a squad, and then to be seated. Unconsciously preparing her muscles for the strike at ahnd, Miyako sped forward and drew her zanpakuto, attempting a single, fluid strike that went from drawing, striking, and sheathing her blade. But her swing lacked the power she needed, and didn't properly strike the dummy, preventing her from carrying through with the technique.

Sirus smiled and inhaled the sweet afternoon air, letting the various scents and sounds of the Training Grounds caress him. He had just graduated from the Academy and had been told to report here to get his personal Zanpaktou. After Sirus got his sword he was supposed to apply for a squad. At the moment he was partial to Squad 4 but you never know what might be around the corner. He walked around the training ground for a few moments silently watching all of the others sparing or forming their own Zanpaktou. After watching everyone Sirus began to feel a little self conscious of the fact that he didn’t really know what to do. Well all these people seem really nice and would probably help me if I asked, but I don’t want to bother them. After all, you can never take back a first impression and I don’t want to seem needyor incompetant. Sirus finally decided that he would just watch some of the other people for a few minutes until he saw someone that wasn’t busy or looked like they ran the place.

(First post, thanks to my being sick. YAY)
Pyroka walked upon the area, knowing full well that he had to although he would rather be watching Television or Playing the drums. He saw other new recruits doing their thing and what not.
I wonder if Anyone else is already in a squad, Probably. No reason to think I'm special, Although I did get stomped to death so that has to be a feat in and of itself right? Pyroka was so lost in his own thoughts that before he even noticed it he had bumped clean into someone. "Ah dude, Sorry about that. Got lost in my own thoughts there for a second"
Pyroka just laughed it off, but he eventually remembered his manners. "I'm so sorry, I don't think I introduced myself. I'm Pyroka Kirazaki, It's not my real name but I decided to pick it up"

Sirus was so involved in a spar match that he was unaware that there was someone behind him until they collided. Sirus, never being the graceful one, ended up falling flat on his face. Great, there goes a first impression. He rolled over and looked up at the person who bumped into him. “Hello Pyroka Kirazaki,” he smiled at the man as he pulled himself up and dusted of his white lab coat, “Nice to meet you, my name is Sirus Matlock.” Sirus adjusted his glasses so he could see the man better, “And don’t mention it, I was at fault as well. I was to busy watching the match to pay attention to my surroundings.” Sirus eyed the man up and down, he looked someone who knew what he was doing and might be able to help him. “Say you wouldn’t by any chance know what we need to do to obtain a zanpaktou would you? The instructions they gave me at graduation were a little vague.”

"To tell you the truth I don't really know, After graduation I sorta walked into the Squad 13 barracks on accident and I somehow managed to join their ranks and they gave me my Zanpaktou"
Pyroka then lost his focus and began looking around at everything around him, he observed the sounds and smells of everything around him. That's when he noticed a guy standing in the corner with a package in the shape of something sword shaped, and looking at his watch. "That dude over there might have what you need, And by the way before I forget, I loved the show Matlock" Pyroka said while pointing in the direction of the Guy with the package
(I'm real nervous about putting that post up, I'm never very comfortable with places where the rules aren't as well remembered or unknown. Hopefully I don't get smacked upside the head)

Cessario stepped into the courtyard of the training area, hoping to find some kind of help in learning the name of his zanpakutou before he lost another fight in his quest to find his soul-brother, Yorich.
He glanced around and saw several bodies dueling it out in the academy. It brought back some painful memories of his time here, but looking from where he was today, it felt good to have an edge over some of these newer recruits. He didn't, however, feel the same before the shinigami fighting on the side, using strange powers Cessario could seldom imagine.
Maybe one of them could show me how to find my sword's name, he told himself. He strode over to the group, cautious not to be hit by one of their attacks.
((This is to anyone here in general. If you want to help me achieve shikai, or even train to learn it together, that'd be awesome smile .))

Tiring of striking at an immobile dummy target, Miyako sheathed her Zanpakuto, looking around for a possible sparring partner. Spotting Cessario, mostly because looking at him gives her the urge to push him over and yell out "TIMBER", or to flip him upside down and use him as a broom - both of which seem like fun options to her - Miyako walks over to greet him.
Extending her hand, Miyako chuckles and says "Hi, I'm Miyako. Nice hair."
