Raven looked around. "If no one has a thought against it I'd like to go first I suppose." She said after a few minutes. "I mostly right now just want to know what everyone thinks about this attempt to resurrect the DA" she said looking around.

Abigail tried to focus on the conversation that was starting. It was hard not to replay the conversation in her head she had with Carrow.

Vacona shyly stepped forward. "This... may sound stupid" she begand, "But I'm new.. I was wondering what exactly was the DA?" Vacona looked around anxiously, she hoped no one would laugh at her.

"Well, the DA stands for Dumbledore's Army...It was like our own way to learn Defense against the dark arts two years ago, when Umbridge was here, only teaching us theories of how to perform spells, not actually practicing them." Neville explained to his cousin.

"She was from the ministry and thought theories would get us along in the world. But when it was formed only Gryffendors, Revenclaws, and Huffepuffs joined. Most of the Slytherins were either with the Witch or to scared to anything other wise. That woman made the school hell." Abigail said in soft cracking voice. She still hadn't fully recovered from crying.

Raven nodded. "There were a few Slytherins that did join. I was one of them, and I'm telling you that year we learned so much more than we ever could have learned with stupid Umbridge." She slapped the back of her hand to her other hand's palm to indicate what she'd love to do to that woman still.

Abigail nodded in agreement and went quiet again. Not really meaning to she moved a little further from the group, not really wanting to be attached to anything at the moment. She hadn't even bothered to mask her face as her long black hair was covering most of her face.

Raven looked at Draco. Draco was hanging his head. He'd been on Umbridge's side. He'd been one of the one's who had caused the DA to end the first time. She reached over and took his hand in hers. She knew that he was wondering if the others hated him for it. He was sure Ginny and Neville did. He looked up resolutely. "I'm sorry for having having caused the DA to end the first time. That's when I was still diluted with my death eater fantasies. I realize now that I was just an arrogant fool. I'll do anything to make up for my past." he said to the group.

Vacona's eyes were wide the whole time they spoke. "Wow... sounds amazing." she said with a tone of awe in her words. She smiled, "Well I'm totally in!"

Raven nodded. "It really is a lot of fun, but it's a lot of work too. It's not all fun and games, and in these war times we have to really work hard for the plans that we will carry out in the future." she rubbed her upper left arm. As if she already had the dark mark it seemed to burn intensely.

Abigail took notice of Ravens arm. they were both thinking about the mark. She tried to not think about it at the moment, but it wasn't working. Carrow's words were echoing in her head 'The Dark Lord has taken a slight interest in you.' She rubbed her head resisting the urge to beat it against the stone walls.

Vacona nodded and made the most serious face she knew- which looked really silly. "When do we start then?" she asked and did a little hop. Neville shook his head and put his large and on Vacona's shoulder. Vacona stopped, looking like a puppy being scolded, and let herself be pulled into in a chair by her cousin.
