*shuffles in mumbling*
goddamn webserver i ******** spend hours debugging that damn directory and getting it just so only to upload it to goddamn atspace that gives me an error no matter what i name the ******** document...
...
I don't usually talk to myself. Really.
Anyone have suggestions for a decent webhost, preferably free, that won't batter me with banner ads?

atspace.com.
But it does this weird thing every once in a while...
Like, I'll upload a page, but it gives me a 404 error. I can save the file as a different name, copy the text into a new document and save that, and it can be identical in structure and layout to the rest of the functional pages, but it just... won't.
And I'm putting together a draft for a fanfiction directory for a friend (don't laugh... o_O*), and I got it looking soo nice... and now I can't show her.
*headdesk*

*sigh* I'm just having a day. Y'know. I was all happy to get that section working so marvelously, then for my webspace to decide to take the weekend off. Early. o_O*;
I'm looking around, though. There's some possibilities.
Or I might just break down and buy it. I wouldn't mind having the domain name -- that's relatively cheap -- but it's usually paying for the space and bandwidth that's murder.
'Course, the friend I'm making this for has been using angelfire, so if she switches to atspace, it can be at its shittiest and it'll still be better!

If you buy the space than you could put some paid advertisements up.

well, these could be just little discreet things in the corner nobody really sees, but they give you money for anyway.
