Kalore blinked, “Why am I being asked?” He grumbled a bit but he nodded, “I’ll just do what needs to be done.” The other man simply nodded. Rave couldn’t think of anything else that they could do at the moment, anyway. “Organization would be promising… Duos may be too small, but trios may not allow us enough coverage to either surround or observe.” His eyes remained calm, collected. He was Rave; someone who needed to stay in control of himself, if not others, but for now would work well with those that needed him to. He could handle nearly anything, and this wasn’t a large enough thing, personal enough, to make that change. Or so he told himself, at least.

Sighing softly, Dusk ran a hand through her hair, “Eldin, Joker… Any ideas on how long Kyoshi’s going to be out?” Eldin shrugged, “He had enough sedatives to keep him out for a long time if he were human, or even an elf… but I’ve noticed that angels and demons metabolize things much faster than we do. He should be up in… an hour, tops.” And his body should heal more than it was currently by then as well. She nodded back, “Then finding some formation would be best and in an hour… Maybe they’ll have stopped by then.” Maybe. Or maybe Dusk was being hopeful for once.

Dusk had been thinking about that. They had two people that… that would be damn good in this situation, maybe even three but she refused to add in Sean. The child was… a child. Hearing the voice of Kyoshi, however, stroking his hair as she went to him immediately, “Hey… Eldin, can he have water yet?” She didn’t look at the other as Eldin nodded, “Small bits, yes.” He went to go get it for him, Dusk speaking softly, “Then we’ll do that… as for anyone else to join in… there are two people that could be of some use-“ “Hell no, Dusk.” Harley frowned, shaking his head as he watched her.

“Look… Harley, the Chess’ would be good for this, you know that. No one can touch them and they’re damn good at what they do.” Shaking his head, Harley frowned more, “With how unstable they are? Dusk, you put us in the outlands for a reason. Sean’s gotten worse, the Chess’ have gotten worse. They may be able to get in and out of there undetected, or they may just decide that Sin’s more fun and join up with him before f*cking with his head as well. They’re freaking wild cards that could help or get us killed.” With a sigh, Dusk nodded as Eldin came back with the water, handing it to her before finishing his work on Raul, silent.

Rave glanced over, finished with what he could do for Raul, “With who we have, duos will do the best, surrounding him and using the normal tactic of suffocating the area. We can’t do that until we know what he has. Dusk, who are these… Chess?” She groaned, “Harley’s sisters, Sean’s their brother. The boy’s a vampire, but he’s a child vampire, turned when he was seven. He’s… not stable at all. The Chess’… Chessera and Jezebel; Phantoms, in a way. They can possess, enter… do pretty much anything, a bit like Mist could.” If it wasn’t for the fact that she didn’t know where Mist was then she would get him to join as well…

“Only… Harley’s right in the fact that I don’t know if they’d end up joining up with Sin temporarily because it’d be more fun.” She shrugged. “We’ll group up with what we’ve got. If they decide to show up… which is a possibility… then we’ll see.” And if they show up on their own then they may be safe. She doubted it, though. She highly doubted it.

Helping Kyoshi sit up, Dusk’s touch was gentle as she sighed softly, “I have some more people… let me go out and check on them and see where my group is.” She glanced over at Ziggy and the man nodded some, “We’ve got two more people in the area, Mist included. The trio up north… possibly… we could use some of the other group, but that’s not something that we want for sure. It’s been a while since they’ve actually worked with anyone other than you or me.” Dusk nodded as she offered Kyoshi the water, speaking softly to Ziggy, “Then either you and me are going to get a hold of them, but probably me.”

She glanced over at Hibachi, “Let me use the equipment again, if you don’t mind that, so that I can get to them and also talk with you for what’s going on. Please.” She was beginning to get better with her manners…”I’ll see how stable my group is, but to be honest… we’re not really a group that works well with others.” As if they hadn’t already figured that one out. But oh well.

“Am I not supposed to be normal?” Harley raised a brow, looking over at Joker. “I’m the normal one…” Talon and the others scoffed at that, knowing that Harley was far from normal but… they at least didn’t say anything. Glaring at them, he grumbled for a bit, crossing his arms as he watched the others. “Assholes…” There was a small moment of amusement but they allowed Harley his moment, most of the group staying quiet and just letting the others plan this out. The majority of Dusk’s group, the ones that weren’t’ constantly involved, those were more… mercenaries. They didn’t work too hard on their own planning. They just went somewhere, got paid, and did what they needed to.

Dusk shook her head, putting the equipment on with care, “It’s not that we don’t like you or anything nearly that personal. None of us just like people period.” None of her group answered to that, but it was obvious that even Rave, Eldin, and Kalore had issues with working with other people. Most of them were good with working with those that they were close to but at the same time… even that was something that was impossible. Sighing softly, she gave a bit of a bow before twitching, walking over to Kyoshi, “Drink the water, don’t spit it out. We’ll tell you later.” Kissing his forehead, she tucked a silver strand behind her ear, twitching again as she saw the silver.

Thank Goddess Eri was dead… then again, she wanted to go back and kill him again for this stupid crap that he did to her. Annoying b*****d…

“I’ll be back, then. It shouldn’t take too long.” Tracking down Mist would be the hardest thing but she didn’t mess with that for the moment. She would find the strongest ones first and then go down. It was sad, but Mist wasn’t anywhere near the top of those that were powerful in her arsenal of fighters. The Chess’, Sean, Ari… those were the ones that she wanted to mess with first. They were also the most dangerous to those that weren’t of their kind, but hopefully she could get them to see past that. Hopefully, at least.

Harley sighed softly, looking at Kyoshi, “So… is there anything else that this guy can summon? If it’s of the dead… we can handle that easily… but anything that’s not dead?” It wasn’t really a ‘we’ thing so much as a ‘he’ thing… but the Chess’ could always just possess something if it was dead easier than something alive, so maybe it really was a ‘we’ thing, who knew? “And anything that can actually burn? We’ve got Talon here being useless…” “Harlequin… Shut the f*ck up…” Poor fire boy… everyone’s picking on him.

Harley glared at her, “It’s not wanting something dead, you blundering annoyance. It’s a question asked to see how useful each of us are going to be. If they’re dead, like those zombies or the bats, I can control them and it makes it easier. If the hellcats can be killed by fire than that’s a good thing because those things aren’t dead and we’ve got one, possibly two, pyros. It’s just seeing what the hell we can get done.” He continued to glare until Talon touched his arm, shaking his head. “We’ll argue later…” Glancing over at Kyoshi, the man sighed softly, “Soul Stealers… That sounds pleasant… Other than their namesake, what do we need to know and what do we do with them?”

It seemed like for the most part the groups were working together… but Dusk wasn’t too sure that it was going to go well. Harley had been standing close-ish to Hibachi so she could hear bits of the words, flinching some. She knew he wasn’t going to die or anything, but it still worried her. They needed to at least get along until they were done with Sin, but hearing that Gambler was counted as dead… She sighed and soon stopped moving, standing in the middle of one of the back alleys of the higher areas. Glancing around slowly, Dusk gave a sharp whistle. “Get out here. Now.” She said no names and when some of the Area’s less… polite folk… decided to come out, a flick of her wrist had them gone and either running or collapsed on the ground.

Laughter sounded and she looked up, not showing any emotion. “Chessera… Where’s Jezebel?”

The laughter continued until a pale woman stepped out, her hair like living obsidian as it flowed past her shoulders, nearing her waist. Her eyes were like Harley’s; cold, seeing only what she wished to see through the silvery hues, but she was beautiful. It was a bit terrifying how beautiful the four siblings were, but Dusk always wondered how much of it was natural and how much of it was their Master’s work. “She’s… busy. I heard that you were needing some… help… Is that correct?” Dusk shrugged, “It’d be preferred, yes… But not completely needed. Let me speak to Jez, Chessie.”

“Mmm… I don’t want to. Tell me, I heard that there was a nasty pest problem…” Her voice lilted back into its standard French, her heels gently clicking on the floor. She was walking… that was a first. Dusk couldn’t remember the last time she had seen either of the Chess’ actually walk somewhere. “We did and we handled that.” “Ah, but now there’s something else… Do tell me, my dear boss… What happened?” A breath was beside Dusk’s ear, her hair touched as it flowed past her for a moment, a nearly identical voice sounding as well. “Your hair… You’ve cut it again… And dyed it… Or is this the cost of an aging hybrid?”

As if in stereo, the sound of cold laughter surrounded her, but Dusk refused to move. She was the boss; not them. Sighing softly, she didn’t have to look back to know that Jezebel wasn’t busy anymore, nor was she taking her twin’s movements in walking. They tended to float where they wished to be, acting as though some invisible bed was below them that only they could touch. It was… eerie, to say the least. She needed to say what was going on, however, and soon the words came from her. She only spoke about Sin, knowing better than to bring up Gambler at this moment; another woman in the picture would send the two far away. They were… a jealous duo, to put it lightly.

Harley said nothing, behaving but then the other man sighed once more, shaking his head, “I think… that we will be able to get along.” Talon continued to watch Kyoshi, sighing before he spoke, “As for the creatures… is there any way to kill them?” If not then he knew that they would just have to pray to whatever they worshiped in order to stay alive.

“We have two more.” Dusk was twitching slightly as Jezebel kept touching her hair, chuckling every now and then. “So odd… It’s like… a panda with stripes…” “A zebra maybe?” “Or a skunk…” “Will you two just shut the hell up?!” Yelling at the other two, she grit her teeth together, shaking her head again before she told them where to go, grumbling for a moment before she was walking somewhere else, shadows taking her over as the Chess’ disappeared, reappearing beside Harley, each of them hanging on an arm. The man groaned softly, “Damn it all… you two are here…” They giggled, looking at the others that were in the room, both dressed in black jeans, red shirts. They were stunning to have just appear out of nowhere.

Talon looked at them, sighing softly, “Is Sean going to come as well?” They shrugged, speaking in union, “More than likely…Ari may come as well…” Their heads rested on their brother’s shoulders, watching him before they looked at the others. “But… I doubt Ari… She’s been so foul lately… Shame, shame.”

Talon nodded, sighing softly as he listened to him. “Then we need to find out what he has and I’ll find something that I can use.” He could use a wide assortment of weaponry, but there were also some things that he hadn’t ever learned how to use. Now wasn’t the time to experiment with the things that he didn’t know how to use. The Chess’, on the other hand, raised a brow. “Oh? We make that large of a difference?” Harley twitched, grabbing both of their arms as he looked at them both, “Look… cut the stereo crap. You’re not the same person, even if you sometimes are. Behave, alright?” They pouted but nodded. “Fine.” “Alright, brother.”

Rave looked at Kyoshi, however, ignoring those beside him as he spoke; his voice low, commanding still and with something nearly eerie about him. “I’m ready to do what needs to be done, Kyoshi. Do you know if there are other objects that are of use against your kind?” It wasn’t meant to be rude, saying ‘your kind’, but just to make it easier. “The maleycos… they tend to work on things that normally aren’t touched by human weaponry. If I can use my blade, then that would be for the best.” If they had to use one of the other ones then… so be it. It wouldn’t kill them. “I don’t believe that a newcomer will be allowed to come here…” He sighed. “Tell this person to wait at the border. One of us will bring him in.” Otherwise, he would be killed on sight… “Unless he can get here on his own.”
