Hibachi was ignored the moment that the screams were heard. Gritting their teeth, all of those that could hear the other, most of them being half elves, took the ear piece out, holding it far away. “What the hell is that, Joker?!” Versions of the sentence came out from Dusk, talon, and Harley, all three of them groaning. Loud noises… none of them liked them though none of them had the hypersensitive hearing that their full blooded counterparts did. Still, that was painful. Rave watched with a raised brow before he walked away, speaking to Dusk softly, Dusk relaying the message once the earpiece was finally put back in.

“We’re on our way but Rave’s going to track down Kalore.” She said nothing else, just taking the earpiece off again. It was so much nicer when she wasn’t listening to Hibachi or the screams of Monty… but then they were off, Raul, Edward, and Cassandra with them, along with Ziggy, as they were soon back in the woman’s room, each getting there in their own means. Dusk was first. “Eldin, is he going to be okay?” She gestured to Kyoshi, watching as Eldin nodded. “Yeah, he’ll be fine. Where are the others?” “They’re coming.” She glanced over at Hibachi, pointing to her throat. “I can take this stupid thing out, now… right?” Having everything she said transmitted over to everyone was really bothering her…

Dusk sighed softly, shaking her head as she took the items out, placing them gently beside the other, “Sorry, Hibachi. Thank you for the equipment.” She wouldn’t suck up to him but she had to admit that she needed to stop snapping so much. It wasn’t going to help anyone and that was something that they all needed to realize. “Do you need any of us to grab anything?” Her arms were crossed, still listening to him as she walked to Kyoshi, kneeling down beside him. Eldin watched, smiling just a bit as he stepped back, going to clean off. Kit was in the bedroom, looking out the window to see if she could see Kalore or someone. “Everyone’s so upset…” She whispered the words as Eldin nodded. “Things’ll work out. They tend to eventually.” “Yeah… eventually.”

Talon and the others followed suit, Ziggy helping support Raul as the man was sitting down for a moment, sighing softly. Cassandra wasn’t there, neither was Edward, but Raul, Ziggy, and Talon were soon in their own little corner, Eldin heading over to make sure that Raul was still stable. Dusk looked over, “What the… You look worse.” Raul gave a bit of a wave, his leg and arm the only things with visible damage.

His arm looked nearly eaten through, his leg mangled. It probably hurt even more than it looked. “I’ll live. What happened to the angel?” He gestured and Eldin spoke quickly, “Throat damage. Stop moving.” Pushing him down, he was continuing the surgery that he had done before, Dusk shivering as she watched Raul just watching the incisions. Binding to two demons hadn’t been in the human’s best interest…

Dusk nodded, gently pressing a hand to Kyoshi’s forehead, leaning over to kiss him softly as she sat back on her knees. She continued to watch him, sighing softly before she shivered, “Those sounds…” She knew what it was but at the same time she wasn’t too sure that she wanted to let her mind know what it was and realize just who it was that was making those sounds. The demon was powerful and he was a strong person so to hear him act like that… it was terrible. Eldin did look up, though.

“This is a mean thing to say… but can you sound proof the area?” He looked back down, beginning to work slower on Raul’s leg, working on the more delicate areas.

“I should… but…” She sighed softly, stroking kyoshi’s head as it rested on her lap, resting comfortably against him. “Does Joker need anything, Hibachi?” She was speaking softly, but she wasn’t too sure that she should sound proof the place or not. The room had been worked on from the inside, but maybe working on the walls themselves as well would work decently…. Who knew? Eldin sighed but said no more, focusing on the delicate work before him. he didn’t want to deal with being charged with ruining a leg…

Dusk glared at the other but she didn’t think that it was said in sarcasm… then again, the two groups were beginning to butt heads so who knew? She said nothing as Talon stood, getting the things that Eldin requested and that nyx requested, one of the only other ones in their group that understood the type of items that they needed. He didn’t know how to use them… but he knew what all they were. Walking to the other, he handed Nyx the items, turned, and handed Eldin the stuff he needed. “What else do you need, kid?” Eldin spoke quickly, naming off multiple things. Talon focused on him instead of Nyx, though he had to admit that she was a nice distraction…

Nodding, he was back to exploring what was around Dusk’s room, speaking as he did so, “Raul… how the hell did you get messed up like this?” There was no answer. The man actually looked embarrassed about this but it was hard to notice in the other’s calm features. Talon raise da brow, looking over his shoulder. “Please tell me it doesn’t involve some small child needing saved…” Even under the scalpel, Raul started laughing, the sound surprising and nearly shocking to those that heard it. Raul never laughed… but Talon knew him well enough. Raul wasn’t reckless, but if there was a child that looked anywhere near his own kid and the kid was in danger… Talon laughed softly, shaking his head again. “You’re one confusing old man…”

“Shut it, you short brat.”

“I am not short!”

Talon twitched, looking away for a moment as he crossed his arms. “I’m barely shorter than she is… Barely shorter than any of you… and taller than most of you… You’re all just bastards.” “No, you just give reactions.” Raul chucked again but hissed as he felt a cut, glaring down at Eldin’s hand. He wasn’t mad at the other but that didn’t stop him from being in pain and a bit annoyed… “That hurt…” “I assumed so seeing as I nicked one of your nerves… Now hush and let me continue this.” Raul grumbled but laid back for a moment, sighing softly as he ran a hand through his hair. “You’re a harsh little kid, you know that?” Eldin shrugged, smiling some before he began to finish patching his leg up. “that’s true but… eh.’

With the rate of the sound around them, however, Dusk soon was walking around, setting up sound barriers the best that she could. It lowered the sound for a moment but… she didn’t know if it was going to stay like that or not. “He’s in some serious pain…” Whispering the words, she tried to think of what it was that could cause that in the demon. Then again, the bicolor haired woman remembered seeing him, seeing how the other had been… Dusk shook her head at the memory. There was so much going wrong in just a single day… dear goddess, it was just horrible. “Hibachi, where’s Harley? Is he near here?” She no longer could ask through the communications, but it worried her a bit that the other wasn’t back yet. Was he alive?

Well, that was a stupid question because he wasn’t but… still.

Harley was near Ellwood, but he didn’t want to go there quite yet. Flying higher than he had in a long time, he tilted his head back, taking in a deep breath. Whatever happened around this place… he didn’t care. He only cared about the comfort that he gained because of his own power, his own high from the dead around him. There was a lot. The newly dead wasn’t what he wanted, though. He wanted the old dead, the really, really, really old dead. Those were the most fun.

No, rave had removed everything that he had on him, hooking it to whatever Harley was on. Dusk had a feeling that this was what he had done. “I doubt that he’s got anything on him… so I don’t know where he’s gone to. I can find him, yes, but…” She shook her head again, sighing softly. “I don’t know anything about where Kalore or Rave ar-“

“There they are!”

Kit was leaning over the balcony, Talon quickly pulling her back, just to make sure that she didn’t fall, but it wasn’t long before the others were in the room. Kalore was hugged tightly, Kit having been worried about the other too much for her own comfort. Rave glanced over at the others, his hand covering a place on the table beside Hibachi. The equipment was in perfect condition, well cared for, and all there. “My apologies on taking it off, but they were beginning to become a slight hindrance with how much I was moving.” He gave a small nod, lying through his teeth… but still, he had to take them off just to get some privacy. None of them did well with the whole communication thing.

Rave walked away, kneeling by Raul and the others, speaking softly to Eldin as he was back to being his normal, emotionless self. It hurt Dusk to see it but now wasn’t the time to babysit the man’s emotions. Maybe it would actually be best that he was like this.

“So… the only ones we’re missing are those that are downstairs…” That was good. Well, they were missing Gambler but that one was obvious.

No one spoke this time; there were no smartass comments from Talon or Dusk, no amused expressions from Ziggy or Edward… everyone behaved. Rave was helping Eldin, speaking softly to him as they moved to Raul’s arm, patching up the even more delicate area. It wasn’t fun work, it wasn’t easy, but they did a well enough job. Harley spoke through the communication, “Does this mean that I have to come in?” Dusk twitched, hearing the words as she nodded, watching Hibachi. “Tell him yes.” Harley was still part of her own group and under her rule… he would be here and he would do as he needed to. Having someone immortal would be a high advantage.

As if he knew, he grumbled, “Never mind… I’m on my way.” He knew his boss well and he knew that everyone was pretty pissy at the moment. It annoyed him, but it was this or be set on fire by Talon… that wasn’t a nice or fun idea. Harley shivered at the thought as he came through the window, the beast that he had created dematerializing outside of it, falling into the ground and morphing out of sight. Kit looked green after seeing it, gagging at the smell before she closed off the window, trying to imagine the grotesque image out of her sight.

It wasn’t working.

Dusk looked around at her own people, now resting beside Kyoshi once more as her hand slowly stroked his hair. She wanted him back most of all, but it looked like the only one that wasn’t going in was Raul. “Where’s Cassandra?” “She went to hunt… Figured that starving herself like she’s done lately won’t be for the best interest.” Raul watched them, now wincing every now and then as the work on his arm began to get closer to his bones. It hurt like hell but he took in another breath, knowing that Eldin didn’t have enough to knock him out after using so much on Kyoshi and Monty. “I’m sorry, Sir Raul…” The man smiled a bit at the other, “At ease, boy. It’s fine. Just keep working.” And he did. “I take it I can’t get the b*****d back for this, then, can I?”

Smiling slightly at Raul, Dusk shook her head, “I’m sorry, friend, but it looks like you’ll be out of commission for a while.” “Damn…” Well, at least someone wasn’t all depressed and grumpy about this… It seemed like they were beginning to get back to normal, taking this in their standard stride. Being upset about this wouldn’t do anything, but they had the power to take out Sin. No one was going to mess with Gambler, understanding that at this moment, she was a lost cause, but pretty much everyone wanted Sin’s a** kicked.

Thinking about that, Dusk looked at those that were around them. She agreed with the idea of ignoring the differences in groups, but she also knew that some people had issues with following orders from others… but they would be handled quickly if it came to that. “Rave and I can get in and out of anywhere undetected as long as there is some form of shadow somewhere in the area. Cassandra can probably take the form of something that can get in and out as well. Other than that… I’m afraid that I haven’t hired any ninjas that are within reach and I don’t know about those in your own group. Harley… Harley, the dead that you raise… can you use them as a scout type of thing?”

Now that would just be even more terrifying… Harley thought about that, shrugging, “I don’t see why not. They would have to become semi-intelligent and I’m very… cautious… about raising things that can think for themselves at all.” Dusk nodded. “Then as a last resort.” She looked at the others. “We don’t know anything about Sin other than the fact that he’s powerful and he hates Gambler. Other than tracking down Sin… is there anything else that we need to work on while we’re seeing what he’s got in his arsenal?”
