Eldin smiled just a bit at the other, nodding some, “Thank you.” He gave Dusk a slight look, not wanting her to speak her mind on that matter until the sedative kicked in. Pressing the needle into Kyoshi’s skin, the drug was given quickly and he helped the man lie down before it really kicked in. Once it did, however, Dusk spoke softly, “It would be… but I don’t know if Kyoshi’s going to end up getting more damaged if it’s done. The shadows… You felt them, Joker. The first time… they’re hell on a person.” She didn’t know if Kyoshi had dealt with the shadows or not. She didn’t think that he had. “I don’t know if they’re going to mess with him more but… we can try. I know that Eldin would be fine with them and I’m sure that you’d be okay again… I just hope he doesn’t end up getting more damaged from them.”

Kyoshi didn't think the sedative would work fast but....That last thought he had was the fact that it worked and nothing but darkness consumed him. Thankfully Eldin was there to make sure that he didn't hurt himself anymore than he already was. The insane man considered what Dusk said and nodded. "I understand the concern but it's quicker and safer for the group as a whole. He's knocked out so I don't think he will feel it. I didn't pay attention actually so....I don't know." He blinked and shrugged. "I'm just thinking on the big picture versus the details. What do you want to do?"

The woman sighed, “You’re right.” It would be for the best and she knew that. Touching Kyoshi’s arm, she kept a hold of him as Eldin was still working on him slowly. “Eldin…” “Sorry.” Removing the equipment, he gave a bit of a sheepish smile, showing that though his looks had changed, he was still the cute child that he had been when they had first all met up. He took a hold of Kyoshi as well. “Take a hold of my arm or something, Joker. I don’t want the shadows focusing more on Kyoshi because he’s the one we’re all linked to.” It would be much better to have them all separated a bit so that they didn’t end up relying too much on a single thing. Sighing softly, she let everyone get situated before she nodded some. “Hold on then.” And the shadows took them.
It wasn’t long before they were sitting in the middle of the floor, Kit pacing and Kalore nowhere around. The made her worried immediately. “Hibachi… What all’s been going on?”

Joker did as Dusk said and felt...odd but otherwise still normal in the shadows. When they were in Dusk's palace Joker took the chance to sit down and take a breather, looking at a jittery Hibachi. Speaking of Hibachi he took his head set out and pretty much went from the top on explaining all that was going on in explicted detail. Taking a quick breath he sat down with his hands clasped together. "I don't know what the current status is on Rave, Kalore, Gambler and Monty. Everything has stopped. Literally. The spiders have stopped and it's got us all high strung on whether or not they will come back but no doubt the others are taking no chances in letting their guard down. I suggest you go check on Rave and do that shadow thing to get Kalore back. Nyx is somewhere in these lands so...."
Joker looked up. "Actually, I made Nyx go take Monty to close up that rift so that's most likely where they are. Where's Talon and Harley? Talon went where?" The insane man asked as Hibachi quickly went to track them down and get images of the location Nyx was at so that if they needed help he could send Joker out there.

Kit continued to pace, shaking her head some as she spoke quickly, “Kalore went after Gambler, checking on what it was that she was doing but I just saw him on one of those… things… that the other guy made. He’s been working with the mages. I don’t know where Talon went, though.” She still had the headset on and she heard as Talon spoke. “I’m back with Raul’s group, helping them out. Edward’s fixing up some areas, keeping things patched up. We’re just making sure Raul’s still alive.” With Hibachi’s headset off, Kit spoke the words again, but then got back to pacing. She couldn’t believe that all of this was going on… “I haven’t seen Rave, though. I haven’t seen Gambler or the guy that’s causing all of this.”
Sighing softly, Dusk nodded and Eldin soon went to walk to Kit, gently touching her hand. “Are you okay?” He was looking at one of the hits that were on her arm, where Gambler had pushed at her and Rave. Kit blinked, looking down and then biting her lip, nodding. “I-I’m fine. What’s wrong with Kyoshi?” Eldin shook his head. “He’ll be fine. Can you see if there are some things here?” Kit needed something to do, something to get her mind off of this. She knew that and she nodded, “Just tell me what to get.” He gave her a small list, warning her not to go off of the floor, not wanting them separated. Dusk went with her. “I’ll see if anyone knows anything about Rave. Just contact me if you need me.” The girls were gone and Eldin went back to Kyoshi, checking over some things carefully.

Joker nodded and sighed. "Well....Everything at the compound location was...quiet. Everything from what I could see in Area was quiet. Everything here is..." "Quiet." Hibachi supplied and frowned. "That is odd." "Not only that but Gambler is.....AWOL." "Think so?" Joker nodded. "I think she did a big boo-boo." Hibachi and Joker groaned and slapped their forheads.
If the two geniuses thought that Gambler turned herself in then that would be the cherry on this grand horrible cake they were dealing with. Standing up, Joker took Hibachi's sword. "I'm going to go get Monty alright? No one follow me. Hell leaves a nasty feeling on your skin." After saying that, Joker shuddered and started to walk away.

Eldin nodded, sighing softly as he continued to work on the man in front of him. He spoke softly, “If Miss Gambler actually attacked Kit and Sir Rave…” He frowned more. “Do you think that she’s gone and… well…” Turned herself in? Would she do that? No, the Gambler that Eldin knew would never do something like that. But with the Twins gone, Rave apparently not in her best light, and all of the damage that she probably sustained… adding to the destruction of now two cities on her shoulders… Maybe she would turn herself into Sin for the better of everyone else. He didn’t think that it would be better, but he wasn’t Gambler.

Taking in another soft sigh, he stood up, moving to the small sink area to wash off. He had added more of the salve to Kyoshi’s throat, knowing that he wouldn’t do well with it, but he also added another small dose of the sedative. He wouldn’t wake up for at least another hour, if not a bit more. If that stuff ended up getting washed out or thrown up again… Eldin was just going to tie the guy down and treat him conscious.

Hibachi looked up and blinked. "Actually, if you think about it, it's the only plausible thing to do. Now that you mention that possibility it's exactly what she did." It had to be since the spiders stopped. Currently looking at the live feed from the satellites and cameras that were at businesses he hacked into, he could see that the spiders were dwindling down.
Even the creatures that were zombie like things were completely gone and those bat things too. The sky was looking like a normal night sky from it's dark reddish black, thanks to the rift opening. Sighing some, Hibachi sat back rubbing his forehead. "Alright. I need a status on everyone so I can clean up and get out of your way." He said into the mouthpiece of his head set.
Joker came to the location that was slowly pulsing of evil and darkness but it was leaving the area until the air was fresh from sulfur and the black aura was gone to a pristine white. Everything normal was gradually returning to the area, thankfully. It was one less thing to worry about. Walking further he came up to the house and to a bloody, limp Monty with a Nyz who was ready to put him over her shoulders.
"Would you like some help Nyx?" He asked, gaining a glare from the amazon queen. "Sure, help me with not asking such manly questions. I can handle him better than you can." She growled being her ever charming self. Joker pouted. "Your being mean to me." "Your being an idiot." Stomping his foot he turned around, motioning for her to follow him. "I'm going to tell Kit on you and she's going to beat you up."

Eldin frowned some more, “And is no one going to stop her?” His voice rose just slightly, but he behaved. He wasn’t in charge, and he more than likely never would be at any level of leadership, but it still confused him that no one would do anything to stop Gambler. Yes, the spiders and such had dwindled down but… he looked down, beginning to stand up as he shook his head, “I’m sorry, Sir…” He grumbled for a moment before he began to clean up, not wanting to be on bad terms with yet another member of Gambler’s group. That just wasn’t a group that he had very much luck in getting along with… Except for the twins…
His heart clenched a bit. HE missed the two… he missed those two a lot.
“Joker… stop being like that.” Kit sighed some, speaking in the headpiece as she came into the room, kneeling down with the blankets and things for Kyoshi, moving them so that he’d be comfortable. Dusk followed suit, nodding as well. “We’re all here and accounted for at the moment. Harley’s with the other mages, making sure that the spiders are either leaving or destroyed, Talon’s with Edward and the others, and Rave’s keeping everything as secure as he can.” She was kneeling beside Kyoshi, gently stroking his hair, making sure not to give too much pressure to the action. She didn’t want him hurting anymore than he already was.

Pouting, the insane man lead them closer to the palace. "I'm not doing anything Kit!" He stomped his foot as he continued, motioning for Nyx to stay closer. They were going to need a nice small, quiet room for the demon and well the hell away from everyone at the moment.
Hibachi blinked at Eldin. "Damn Joker said you were the nicest one in the group. You got some bark in you though." He grinned teasing him but then nodded. "Don't call me sir, just Hibachi but...no....no one is going to stop her." No one was going to be able to since it was pointless and would waste time, energy and lives if she didn't make that decision on her own.
Even though it was a slightly selfish....No, a very selfish reason it was also justifiable in which if she didn't give in to what the man wanted, everyone she knew and didn't knew, her amazing and growing city, the beautiful lands that belonged to the elves would have been destroyed. If Sin was being cooperative then she would take advantage of that.
"Imagine this," Hibachi started looking at Eldin with patience, "Say you've lived to see centuries upon centuries upon centuries of life and death. Your part of that cycle yt you cannot die because your something more than mortal. You can bleed and have injuries, you can scar, scream and feel pain yet you can feel all the good in the world." He sat back, unawared that he was also talking in the mouthpiece that everyone could hear him.
"Now, you've decided that being alone is better because you won't have to suffer the loss of a close friend but a person can only take that for so long. So you form a group of outcast, berserkers, angels, demons, playboys and sexy japanese men like me...." The man couldn't help but grin at that, "To kill the loneiness but to also kind of give back to the world so that others don't have to feel ridicule for being different. Now, everything is good and finally you get something you've wanted for a long time, a kid or two. You raised them, care for them, and love them. Then you hook up with a really hot elf guy who has this freaky thing with shadows and I have to say takes alot of guts to live with the boss of a city."
Hibachi shifted in his seat to be more comfortable. "Yet a mad man or a few takes away your babies and then one of those madmen plants so many falses into you that after experiencing your own form of disappointment in relationships that it will confuse the hell out of you and you can't really believe in anyone's words. Now...This madman wanted what she had and to get that he started to do worse things than imagined. Our cities are messed up, Eldin. Thankfully not so much of it but enough. The only way to keep us alive in this palace is to give up so that others can live safely. It's selfish but what else can you do? Your abilities, no doubt are more powerful than I've ever encountered could have only hold off for so long without tiring you out and leaving you weak. Not something any of us want to happen. If you want to find her and give her a lecture go for it but it's not worth having your head blown when one sacrifice can save millions more lives."

As Hibachi spoke, everyone was silent. It was Harley that spoke, softly, still up in the air with a few of the mages that were keeping the place guarded, “I don’t think that going out to get the boss of the Area is going to be the best idea, Kid… but I do think that it would be for the best if we just got together once this all calms down.” He sighed softly, shaking his head as his arms crossed, looking out high above the air, watching the border between the Areas and the Elvish lands. It looked so… different here. With all of the destruction, it was impossible to see anything else besides what was in front of them.
“I think the tech guy’s right.” He still didn’t know anyone’s names from the other side other than Joker, and even then he didn’t know how he looked, really… “What she’s doing seems selfish but… It’s for the best at this moment. And at this moment, that’s the best that we’ve got.” There were soft grunts of acknowledgement, but for the most part… most people didn’t want to admit that what he said was right. Gambler was doing the right thing for that moment, and for the moment that was all that they could do. None of them were blessed with seeing into the future, save for Ali… but Ali wasn’t there to tell them if this was right or not.
Kit looked away, as did Eldin, but their arms both were crossed, looks of disdain clear on their features. Neither could deny the logic, however. Dusk spoke softly, breaking the silence, “How close are you guys to Ellwood, Joker?” Harley was right in having them all just get together, heal, and then do what they could. Facing Gambler would get them killed by the woman and facing Sin now… now, they just had too many men down, so to speak. They needed to get their people healed and it was something that they would focus on first. At least, Dusk would focus on it first.
As the others spoke softly, planning and getting where they needed to be, Rave was silent. His hands were clutching the rail in front of him, his eyes closed, hiding the silver hues that gave way to the anger in his form. He didn’t want this. He didn’t care if this was the best thing for the group, he wanted Gambler back and he wanted her now. He wanted to take her, slam her against the wall, and tell her how stupid she was being. He wanted to bring her close, hug her, kiss her, tell her that everything was going to be okay. He wanted to do so many things that he just couldn’t do at this moment but… What else could he do? Protecting the city was his first priority, but now that Gambler was gone, truly gone… Rave wasn’t too sure that he wanted to do even that until he had her back.

"The tech guy...I haven't heard that in a long time. So psycho guy who questioned my technology, is everything clearing up like what I'm getting from the live feeds?" He asked, cheerfully. While waiting for a response, he looked at Kit and Eldin. "Look, sometimes in life you have to make a decision that might not be the greatest but it will buy us all sometime. If Sin goes back on his word, which bad guys always do or while he's distracted with her we can corner him." Which is a good idea but there is always better ones once they knew what was going on with the members.
Joker looked somber as he was walking quickly down the hallway having Nyx double time it behind him to Ellwood and into the palace. "We are here Dusk. Do you have a small, windowless room with a strong door that can hold a demon?" He asked through his communicator, Nyx shifting Monty's dead weight evenly over her shoulders in the fireman carry.

Eldin and kit nodded, both speaking in the soft manner that most of them had taken, “I know, Hibachi… but that doesn’t stop it from being difficult, you know?” Kit smiled at him some and Eldin nodded. They both knew that this was for the best, but they also didn’t have much experience in things like this. The others did. It was one of the reasons why they mostly kept quiet about things and just did as they were told. Drinks, Kit knew those. Medicine, Eldin knew that very well. The things that everyone else did, however, those were all things that they both had problems with, things that neither of them could control well like all of the others would. Goddess forbid that Eldin ever be placed in Rave’s position. The thought was enough to make him shiver.
“There is a room, yes, but it’s a prison cell. We place our mages there. Will that be fine?” Dusk was already heading down to where Joker and Nyx, knowing that she would need to be there for them to be able to get through. “Just tell me where you are right now and then I’ll get to you guys quickly.” She was doing a checklist on what it was that was available, wondering if there was anyone in the cell that she didn’t know about. Dusk realized that there shouldn’t be a question in it. The woman should know everything that happened here but sometimes… sometimes it was hard for it to get to that point.
Hearing all this, Harley started laughing again but he had come down from his high. “I’m not the crazy one, dude… I don’t know why you’d think so.” He snickered, shaking his head again before he glanced around. “It’s clearing up. The mages around here are keeping things pretty secure and now that the spiders are receding, they’re doing an even better job than before. I’m actually surprised… the elves seem to have things in better control than we gave them credit for…”
“You gave us credit for…”
“Oh hush, Dusk. You’re pointy eared and live in a tree… Please tell me why I shouldn’t underestimate that?” His only reply was a few choice words grumbled under the Queen’s breath. She didn’t like it, but she had to admit that he was right…

Joker blinked and looked around. "Um....This is like...the enterance area?" Nyx rolled her eyes. "Come on Joker. There's only so long I can carry a fat demon on my shoulders." "Oh?" The insane man looked at her. "Your still a woman?" Growling, the woman kicked the man in his leg. "Tell the damn Queen where the hell we are so this man can get healed. Or else I'll kill you and we will be better off." She snapped.
Joker pouted. "So mean...." He was about to tell where they were until he heard Harley's voice. "Harley! I fought Batman! But he got away." Nyx twitched. "For the love all things....Get it together Joker before I make you carry this dead demon." Joker sniffled. "So much abuse, we are in the enterance area sheesh. You keep the dead demon. It's going to smell my house." Hopefully no one was truly paying attention to this squabble because if the wrong people heard this they might flip out in losing another person.
Hibachi nodded and sighed softly. "Good. As long as they aren't getting weak they can stay up there until the last spider is dead or gone." He clicked some more and more, trying to generate any sign of where Sin and Gambler might have gone. It was like they fell off the face of the earth.

Shaking her head some, shadows soon engulfed her and it wasn’t long before Dusk was in front of the other two, frowning. “Damn isn’t needed in front of my name, Miss Nyx… but come.” She gestured and soon they were walking down to where the prisons were. “I can’t think of another place that will be able to hold a demon. It has no windows or anything and it’s incredibly strong.” Dusk made sure that they were still following her when she opened the door, gesturing again for them to walk inside. Maybe it wasn’t the best place to stay; there was a bed and there was a small area where food and water would be placed, but that was it.
“Go ahead and place him here. I’ll have one of my guys down here to keep tabs on him, unless one of you wish to?” Dusk raised a brow, listening as Harly spoke about what it was that was going on with the others, giving a bit of a play-by-play on what all had happened in Ellwood. It seemed like things could have been a lot worse. “I need to get upstairs and see if I can track Rave down.” If they ended up losing him too… Being without Gambler and Monty was going to be hard enough, added to Kalore’s injuries and Kyoshi’s… They couldn’t lose Rave as well.
