Dodging Sebastian again, Emma narrowly got out of it. Taking a breath she pushed the last of the way and readied herself. Lining up her shot Emma tossed the quaffle. Here's hoping she'd get the ball past Kimberly and through the hoop.

As Fianna focused upon closing the distance on her elusive quarry, and was pulling neck-and-neck with Lionel, she felt another Bludger slam into her left shoulder. The little redhead tried hard not to scream as her collarbone shattered, and fought to hang onto her mount as she was nearly blown backwards off of it. Grimly, Fianna clutched her broomstick, forcing herself to keep moving, despite the white-hot shards of pain knifing through her. 'Almost there,' she thought. 'I just need a chance...'

Melody plodded onto the field quietly. She was tired but ready for the game. She was excited to be the official starter for the team seeker finally and also glad she had another year before she had to play against Eve. She preferred the idea of not being beaten to a pulp by her girlfriend... whether or not that prospect also meant nurse Eve taking care of her after the game too... On that thought maybe she wouldn't mind Eve being her opponent next year. She smirked and began stretching out her muscles while she waited for the game to begin.
