He just had to avoid Emma... and the other Chasers while he did. He could do it, he would do it. He was determined to win this game somehow. 'Really...?' Emma thought as Gid easily dodged her. She wasn't surprised, Gid was good. That's why he was captain. She just wished she was playing better then she was. Continuing after him Emma tried once more to grab the quaffle from one of her many Gryffindor friends.

Snatching the quaffle from Gid, Emma smiled. That was more like it. Doing a u-turn the Hufflepuff raced to the Gryffindor goal. She could do this!

Despite the stabbing pain which every draw of breath caused her, Fianna's eyes caught the glint of gold against the green of the pitch. Immediately all concern for her injured side was replaced by the thrill of the pursuit, and the little red-haired Seeker launched herself after the ball. Now, it was a question of whether she could close the range in time and contest Lionel for the Snitch.

Fianna threw herself through a tight descending turn, and came corkscrewing out of it, picking up valuable airspeed, and closing the range on the Snitch, however Lionel was still ahead of her, and was almost assuredly going to get a grab in before Fianna could, but she was determined to give it her best shot.

As soon as Emma got the ball it was stolen by a first year chaser. She tried to push back the embarrassment of it all. How could someone inexperienced get the upper hand on her...? She needed to focus that's all there was to it. Racing after Brianna, Emma hoped to steal the quaffle back.
