There are crickets (or grasshoppers, who knows) in my basement. They must think it's a rave or something, they're constantly singing and never shut up. stressed evil

I'm with a jazz combo going across all sorts of jazz genres. I've worked with the guy a couple times already, but mostly on an instrument. I'm usually on piano, but... this time I'm doing a duet with the lead for "They Can't Take That Away From Me" and "A Fine Romance".
He actually /does/ kinda sound like Louis Armstrong. Although, I can't say that I'm much of an Ella Fitzgerald. sweatdrop
Right now, my tuition and books for one semester has come to about 2 000$ (or "$2,000" to you anglophones O.o). But my dad works at the university, so I only pay half tuition, and I get a 10% discount on books.

Well, I failed my 3rd test. worst one ever actually. I got so nervous I couldn't get the car started for a bit.... Oh yeah, it was THAT good. The guy's evaluation was, "Well, you can drive quite well. Unfortunetly you fail the test." I failed BIG TIME. T crying T There's gotta be a way to get this thing done without having a comeplete stranger in the car.

Aww, that sucks Kozo... I hate handling pressure, but since I've started working with people all day, it's not as bad.

The trick is to believe the guy is your friend. Modern people come built in with the best self-deception tools ever, but you have to learn how to use them to your advantage.
Or you could radically change your personality such that you don't feel excess pressure in any situation. That's what I did, for the most part, although I also do the former thing.

Lykus The trick is to believe the guy is your friend. Modern people come built in with the best self-deception tools ever, but you have to learn how to use them to your advantage. Or you could radically change your personality such that you don't feel excess pressure in any situation. That's what I did, for the most part, although I also do the former thing. That's so unbelieveably simple that it actually might work... but until then I'm thinking I'll just gradually de-sensitize myself by ferrying people's parents around. I will keep that trick in mind though. This is really starting to get to me though. It doesn't make any sense that I can drive fine until the instructor gets in. After that, well, I throw roadside insults at people who drive like I do during my road tests. The whole mess wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that the Fraser Valley ICBC roadtest bookings have to be done MONTHS in advance. Not because of the amount of work to process them, but because so many damn people are applying for roadtests! Now I've got a whole day of PC wrangling to do tomorrow....I have to rally up some info on animators and game design for a slideshow, but all the websites with actually useful info on the subject are either too advanced to be viewed (and, lacking admin status I can't upgrade) or simply blocked. It's an amazing system. I'd install firefox to get around the IE firewall, but seeing as how I require the use of these machines for the entire school year, risking my PC privlages doesn't seem like a good option. Why do schools insist on being so difficult to work with? Meh, sorry, I'm ranting again. Gimme a day or two and I'll be fine. Until then I think I'll curl up into a big ol' ball of emo-ness and bang my head against my wall. ^_^ All the while listening to The Cranberries!

It also helps to try not to care. You obviously care TOO much if you get so nervous that you can't test properly, and changing nothing about what you do means that you'll probably end up failing the test repeatedly, but if you try not to care, then you might balance yourself out to where you care enough to do well, but not so much that you fail.
I used to have serious "stage fright" issues when I performed on the piano at contests. Then I decided to stop caring about what my ratings were and "just do my best" because I knew my best was clearly good enough for a 1st division, or whatever UIL gives to its people.

Driving Test thing?
I failed my first time because I couldn't understand the cop and because he was a racist p***k.

Most cops are. They usually have encounters, though, that make them that way, so it's semi-justified.
Blah. I'm bored. I wanna talk to Shazz with her webcam some more. It was funny to see her brothers' interpretation of me.

I saw her brothers.
They pissed me off.
Her shirt was kind of seethroughish that time.
XD
I'm pretty sure she blocked me because I don't se her on AIM anymore.
That's bloody evil.
No one in this guild appreciates me anymore.
