Matachi saw Katherines power spark "Yep she means it, and it is true we are considered wed we just haven't had a ceremony." He said before getting up "Now if you will excuse me I am gonna go study up abit." He said leaving for the library

Later that night Katherine sat desperately trying to do the work in the main hall. She had made it through some of it. Not all it was hard pressed her mind was else where. She wasn't angery this had happend somewhere she knew something like it would it always did. Her hand ran through golden locks and she looked up towards the hall as she did she relized the light of day had well gone and her hands and legs were cramped with the chill of the air in the hall. She thought about walking into the night but she dared not risk it. Thinking about it.. about Alastor chills ran through her fear ran through her again. She took a deep breath then another. Her hands shook and she closed her purple eyes tight, she brought her legs to her chest and wrapped her arms around them she felt tears trickle down her face and her body shake.

Matachi walked up to Katherine gently laying his cloak over her, he then placed himself down next to her. Thats when he spotted the tears. Reaching up he gently slid his thumb up her face "Why are you crying love?" He asked as he looked at her worried abit about her. Bringing his arm around her he pulled her close comforting her.

Katherine strightend herself when she felt something come around her form she put her legs down and moveing back to whipe at her face abit she shook her head trying to calm herself down. "Just fustration." It was a lie she didn't want to say fear she didn't want him to know how scared she had become.

Micon only shook his head as he entered the main hall. "I'm surprised someone like you hasn't gotten it by now. You were there Matachi. You saw it all happen. Don't you get it by now?" He asked him, walking towards them both. "She's afraid the anti-weapon will come back again. Knowing, he will keep coming. He's not going to stop."

Matachi smirked leaning back abit "Katherine I know fear when I see it." He says "I've been just as scared as you before, even worse to the point where i even threw up." He said admitting something just then to her, that he wasn't as hard as nails it seemed "Don't act please Katherine." He said softly to her "Shut up Micon." He said sharply already knowing "I know shes scared you tit!" he said to him in a annoyed tone

Katherine had listened to him.. Maybe it was okay for someone who faced death all the time. It was not okay for a nations leader if her father had taught her anything it was that fear doesn't get in the way. It never should, your desdions are final and clear as is your mind. She listened to Matachi talk to Micon like that and she laughed. A soft bit of a giggle but it was something.

Matachi smirked when he heard her giggle "I wont let that crap happen again, I wasn't ready this time but now I am." He says confidently

"Well then, stop asking why she's scared you buffoon." Micon retorted, shrugging it off like it was nothing. "Name one reason I should even help you in the first place. I don't have to listen to my father." He said clearly, making his stance known.

Katherine stopped giggleing but then she still had a smile. "Because if you do what he says your place in Solem will be much greater and you know that." She spoke knowing he would.

"Oh and what makes you think I want to oust the Gods? Maybe I like my place where I am. Maybe I don't feel like having all that responsibility." Micon answered her, folding his arms. "Though, I would also like to point out that by doing this is an act of evil. Why do I want to help good or evil?"

Katherine shrugged but she knew it was in his nature. She looked over to Matachi though she was glad things had become light hearted. She was glad she wasn't alone she didn't fear then. Though she had always liked being alone until this had ha[[end with Alastor.
