Brayden had hung back a bit a Chloe signed off on the paperwork. He stretched, glancing at the clock. He hadn't had much rest since coming to the island, but that certainly wasn't anyone's fault but his own. However, Brayden was getting a little wanderlust case going on. After flipping through his map on his Pokegear, he noted several places that looked like they'd be interesting to visit.
"I haven't gotten any badges lately as well. Not even in my home region," he laughed quietly, overlooking his trainer registration.
Having made his decision, he tapped Chloe on the shoulder.
"I think I'm gonna head on out for a bit. There are a few places I need to go. I should be back soon, though," he promised. "Wish Sasha well for me," he smiled, before heading out of the Pokecenter.

Caliga trotted alongside him as Brayden made his way to the ferry. He was sure he could just fly to wherever he needed to go, but decided that sometimes, taking the more scenic route was just as pleasant, even if it took a bit longer.
"Well, this'll take us back to Petalburgh..." Brayden mused, tapping his lip thoughtfully as he pulled out a notepad to scribble his destinations on. That way he wouldn't forget them later on.

After purchasing his ticket for the ferry, Brayden hopped on the old sailing vessel, Caliga following suit. The barge took off at a Slugma's pace, but Brayden didn't mind. The day was lovely, and the breeze was perfect. He spent much of the journey watching the waves, Vaporeon ears flicking up in interest as he spotted a pod of Wailmer following slowly after the ferry.
Smiling faintly, Brayden turned his attention back to the waves, as the ferry ported him to Petalburgh.

"Well, guess its just us," she laughed, turning back to Sasha. "I'm all set for side-trips for a long while, so I can stick with you until you're feeling better. If the others aren't back by then, I guess we can see about tracking them down," she smiled.
"Other than training my Pokemon a bit, I really didn't have anything planned, what do you want to do in the meantime?"
