Lina closed her eyes before she called off the doctor, "Your family wants you." she sighed before saying, "Would they kill you?"

The mark faded back to a flat black. Remus took a deep breath. "No, they'll want to warn me if anything..." He gave a weak laugh. "What a way to start the day."

He shook off the attack and turned to Lina. "I'll be back as soon as I can to help." He gave her a quick hug and shifted to his wolf form. He gave a small whine and took off running towards the entrance.

She watched him go before finishing the grapes and immediately going to work on the defenses. Her scanned the area to see if Lotan was around and wasn't surprised when he wasn't.

Remus tore through the streets. He knew where he was going, but his heart raced in how dangerous it was for him. He carefully slunk into a side ally and changed into his human shape. He made sure his sleeve hid the Lotus mark. His family would not approve of that and he didn't want to waste time arguing with them.

A few hours went by before Lina had finally finished strengthening the defenses, with the help of the older vampires. Now was the time she had to go back to the book. Now was the time for the next riddle.
Lina's slow footsteps was the only sound the hallway as she walked closer to the symbol, breathing deeply as the symbol grew as she walked closer.

The tall figure walked infront of Troden, a glare of anger in his eyes as they watched each other. Troden folded his arms before lowering his head respectfully, "It has been a long time Teacher."
The figure said nothing as he stood there.
"Silent as always before a fight I see," Troden said with a grim smile.
"You betrayed me. Why should I speak to one such as you." was Lotan's heated reply as he walked closer to the Rajen Leader, grabbing his neck in an instant, "Even killing you may be dishonorable."

Remus calmly opened the door to a small house. He walked inside and moved to small room with a fireplace. He couldn't help but smile. Two large chairs were placed in front of a fire. "Father, sister, you called?"
The figures in the chairs jumped and turned around. The one on the left was a small blond girl that looked about 17. The man next to her looked far older. His hair was white and his skin wrinkled. "Remus!" The girl flung herself on him. Remus hugged her back. "Easy Alice easy. What did you two call me about?"
The old man stepped forward and shook Remus's hand. "Remus, the lycans have started moving. They have formed a united clan under a lycan named Fenrir Grayfang. They plan to march against the vampiric community. I figured since you have been fighting for peace that you should know. I'm sorry Remus..."
Remus blanched and sat down into the nearest chair. "They've united..." He held his head in his hands. "Will you two be safe? They know your my family."
Alice stepped toward him and held his arm. "Don't worry about us. We have enough friends in high places that they won't come near us. Just stay safe."
Remus nodded grimly and stood up. "I need to go. Thank you both very much." He shook his father's hand again and hugged his sister. "Stay safe, both of you." He turned and left the house.

She took her time as the pale blue orb of light floated towards the symbol, conserving her strength as the ball touched the symbol and opened the room to her eyes. She moved in and was a little surprised as she saw a clear blue barrier surround her this time. It reminded her of the thin bubble-like barriers Aurora used to make.
She smiled grimly as she realied who the next person would be, "Aurora...it will be good to see you again..."

Remus ran through the streets as rapidly as a he could seeming to be nothing more than a stray dog. He had to get back to the base. This couldn't wait.

Lina touched the cover of the book lightly before she turned the cover. A blue light began to emanate from the book as the pages turned on their own, slowly growing brighter the pages got closer to the chapter Aurora was in. Lina began to breathed even slower, holding onto the podium holding the book as images flashed in her head.

Remus shifted to his hybrid form and opened the door. He stopped the nearest member, luckily an older one. "Do you know where Lina is?" The vampire shrugged and went on his way. He thought for a moment and remembered the book. He silently cursed to himself and ran to the doorway to the sanctuary. He waited outside the door for when she returned.

As the images disappeared, so did her strength for when the book closed, she fell to the ground, a bright flash of blue surrounding her until the book had closed comepletly.

Remus heard the thump from the sanctuary. "The book..." He hesitated, but then slowly opened the door and entered in. "Gods and leaders forgive me." As before he felt out of sorts from the power surrounding him. He slowly moved forward, hoping he wouldn't be struck down by some magical force. His tensions grew as the symbol came nearer.
