True but then again he always could blame my raciel insupurity for being hurt after all I'm just a worthless elf, who'd think a servant like me could deal with a trained thief.

When you arrive in the throne room, you notice that the king is sitting on his throne. It occurs to you that he may spend very little time off of his throne.

But my liege this buisness is buisness for all since it deals with a [possible threat to your throne. Last night as I prepared to meditate I heard someone sneaking around the rooms and then I heard him try to open up a latch. In fear for my master Cy's life a rushed to the window in my room that was connected with the other room and when I got there I feared even more since I saw the thief's outline. I a frantic a broke the window and stood face to face with the thief, who quickly caught sight of me and due to his racial superiority to me he easly overpowered me and fled. I fear that since he was near my master's possessions that he must have been trying to sabotage the efforts of rescueing your daughter.

Or it could work out in our favor and the king sends us out before any other recruits come in to join us.
