"Rusty, shield status?" Zendia requested, and the answer was given in the form of green lights for them. "Good, now give me as much as you can for weapons, as well," she sighed. And they too had a green light. "Em Three primed and ready to rock," she then commed Kefka. Still, the TIEs did not fire. "I wonder what they're waiting for," she thought out loud.

"I'm not quite sure," Kefka said as he cut the throttle and added more power to shields.
"I don't particularly want to fire. Dying in a nebula must really suck."

By the time Kefka rolled starboard, a TIE had screeched past him, and mistakenly opened fire.
"Command, this is Emerald Leader, we've been fired upon." Kefka said as he pulled up and around.

((how predictable.))
"I still don't see why you had to go and try and ram him, Kefka," Orrin said, coasting along, stuck in a wingman's position. He prepped his switches and levers for whatever maneuver Zendia tried to pull. Wingmen always have the trouble of doing double the maneuvers that the leader does, mainly because they have to stay slightly ahead and always to the upper right or left of the leader's position, putting them in a more difficult spot to see the maneuvers being practiced. But Orrin didn't believe anyone would pull any tricky maneuvers he couldn't handle. Not yet at least.

"Whatever they're up to, it's time to chase them out of our nebula," Zendia said. "Have we authorization to return fire?" she commed Kefka. "Be ready for anything, boy," she promptly added to Rusty, whom gave but a small hoot.

Gendis sighed and wiped his face with his palm. "This is rediculous. by this time we should already have identified and destroyed them, or let them go."

"Letting them go would be insane, they're imperials." Azure said as she got ready to help Zendia perforem any manuevers.

"Sometimes letting them go helps you out. Trust me, I've dodged my fair share of imperials who I found later dead by their commander's hands," Orrin commed.

"And, you're confident that will will be the case here?" Zendia asked Orrin. "What really bothers me is the numbers. A trio doesn't pose that much of a threat, but they certainly had to come from somewhere,"

"I suggest we destroy them as quickly as possible, since Kefka pretty much forced them to attack," Orrin said, watching the trio break up.
"Must be new guys, never break up when outnumbered. You're in the lead Zendia. Pick one and blast it to shreds."

"We have authorization," Kefka said to the rest of the flight group.

"You heard the man. Let's take them out," Zendia commed Orrin and Azure, although one could say that she didn't sound incredibly enthused about it. "Rusty, have you a lock-on?" she inquired, getting an affirmative bleep. "Got it," she declared, a TIE locked on in her cross-hairs. She squeezed down the fatal trigger, vaporizing the TIE. "One down, people,"

One of the fighters fired a shot at Azure. She turned to the side and dodged the laser blast. Then she put her ship back upright and locked on too the Tie. "Target locked" she said as she fired hitting the Tie in center destroying it.

Orrin was almost bored just pulling simple maneuvers.
"What ameteurs. Let the kid take them. We don't need to waste time here."
