Gala, trudging along determinedly with her heavy bag hanging on one delicate shoulder, fell over in a heap when Nadyrr came up behind her. She hadn't been expecting anyone to approach her, so the arrival of the Choleric boy caught her quite by surprise. With brightly blushing cheeks she scrambled to gather herself and her things and get back up onto her unsteady legs. "Sorry, sorry," she mumbled.

Then, catching Nadyrr's words in her ears, Galadrae tipped her head to one side like a curious dog. "Do you think so?" She turned then on her heels to catch a glimpse of the girl to whom her companion referred. She really couldn't judge what the other Phlegmatic would be like just from sight, but Gala's first thought was that the other girl's hair and skin were lovely shades of blue.

Professora Quenda clucked happily to herself. Despite the serious nature of the reasons, the fact that she was able to really teach this term's Botany Class hands on was thrilling. In her opinion, Botany was a lesson that was better learned from doing. No matter how much you read or learned about plants, it took a special touch to make them truly thrive. She hoped she'd have a few new students this term who would take a love of Flora as she had.

Unfortunately, the task she'd been assigned by the Metatron, Rasputin was a dire one. The Mandrake stores of the City were terribly low, and most of the strongest alchemical potions required at least a whole root. And since Mandrake was such a volatile, and potentially contaminating crop, it was forbidden to grow them within the City proper. So it was up to Quenda to venture out of the City, through the North Gate and harvest from the crops grow just past the City walls. She'd begged to be allowed a team to help her harvest in a reasonable amount of time, and Rasputin, understanding of these matters agreed. She would be permitted to take her class with her so long as they were well-prepared and had ample protection. So, she'd use the class time she'd been assigned to instruct the students on how to properly harvest Mandrake root, and she'd hire some competant Gatekeepers to protect them should the Andras make an untimely appearance.

Quenda rubbed her hands down her skirt and took a deep breath and smiled. Well, she'd reached the old Oak in the Flora Gardens. Instead of using a stuffy old classroom, she'd posted notice for her Botany students to meet her here. And now was the time, so Quenda scratched idly at the grass with her talons and waited for them to arrive.

Arwen made her way to the designated spot, mild curiosity flitting over her delicate features. It was true that Botany would be best learned hands on, and it would make sense to do so in the Floral Gardens, but it still made her a little uncomfortable. She knew somewhere in her mind that all this schooling and learning was to prepare them all for things beyond the immediate Districts, but the idea of the unfamiliar still brought an uncomfortable ball of ice to her stomach.

Crimson eyes lighted upon the Professora for the class, and she immediately felt a gentle surge of comfort. The woman seemed warm and wise - not the ancient wisdom of Eleuthero, but something else, like a favored friend who knew all the remedies to what ails you; however, Arwen knew well enough that no book could be judged by its cover. The youth offered a curtsey as she approached the woman in question, greeting her, "Hello, Professora."

She would have taken a seat, but quite frankly, she wasn't sure what was expected of them in this place. Instead, she held her notebook and quill to her stomach, casting a cursory glance around the area as if to find some type of answer to what they would be doing.

Nadyrr blinked slightly and then reached down trying to help Gala up the best he could. "Don't be sorry....I didn't mean to startle you." Nadyrr blushed slightly tucking a piece of wayward hair under his hat as he did. He then followed Gala's eyes toward where he had pointed out Yalitza before, "your real nice, I think that you really would get along with her." He tried to offer a reassuring smile and cover up his own uneasiness.

Looking at the door to the class he raised a brow curiously, "Seems that the class has been moved to the flora Gardens. Wonder what sorts of things we'll be doing." Being familiar with the gardens he just continued on the path to class when it seemed Gala was situated enough to walk with him.

Astaroth smiled and nodded, turning to leave once Danna spoke. Adjusting his bag, he started forward, navigating the crowd of students with a slightly sour look on his face. He hated crowds.... far too many people in one place. Pausing in his stride, he looked around for Danna, not wanting to lose her in the inevitable crush of bodies.

Finding her, he caught her hand before starting off again, "It's Botany, correct? Perhaps Murmel will be featured in the lesson...." He didn't seem to think anything of taking her hand. Or pehaps he was too focused on getting to the next class to realize his actions.

---

Daggart followed along, listening to chatter that was floating about and guessed that some sort of non-theoretical class was next, which was nice. Philosophy hadn't been.... what he'd expected. Oh well. A new class and a fresh page. Maybe it would strike his interest moreso then the last.

With a broad smile and energetic step, the Choleric followed the others as he had no idea where he was going.

---

Kallisto, in the meantime, had stopped in the hallway and found Yambati. Setting a hand on his shoulder, she offered the other with a bright smile, "Botany's next. Think it'll be interesting." She spoke softly, hoping he would cheer up with such news. Surely his passion would do something to help ease the storm of thoughts he seemed to be suffering from.

User ImageDanna kept pace easily beside Astaroth, falling back when required to pass between students, connected only by the hot press of his palm. She was smiling broadly, from ear to ear. She was glad that Philosophy had finished, glad that Botany was up next, glad that they got to do some hands on work, glad that Astaroth was warming up... Danna was so terribly happy that she actually gave a short, cheerful laugh before she caught herself and repressed it.

Abacus eyed the notice on the Bonaty class' door warily. The Flora Gardens: a place he had yet to discover. He waited there until he heard other students discover the notice, quickly attaching himself to the back of their group in order to be lead in the right direction.

The boy quickly broke away from the group once he could see the gardens, taking a moment to stop and stare. I should have found this sooner, he strode towards it, entering and walking a little ways away from the group gathering. He gave a nod to the professor before turning his attention to the plants, kneeling down to get a better look at a particular flower. Abacus raised his camera and began tweaking with the settings, stopping to let loose a brief flash of light before standing and moving onto the next plant that caught his eye.

Belwen falled in behind Danna and the others with her heading off toward the flora gardens with the rest. Danna hadn't seen her wave but watching the girl with the rather hansome boy she could understand why. Belwen wasn't offended though it was usually generally hard to offend her.

Her attention was taken from watching Danna and the the boys to the flowers around the gardens. They were lovely, she wondered what sort of class that they were going to have in such a place. Pausing to move quietly among the plants and admire the ones that were most pleasing her eyes finally drifted over to the teacher. At least she assumed that the woman would be their teacher, inching along Belwen moved toward a point closer to the professor her eyes wide and curious.

As the students began to arrive, Quenda moved amongst them handing out small technorings or varying shades of brown and green. "Make sure everyone gets one of these!" Quenda called out above the chatter and bustle of the students.

She made sure to clip one to one of her braids as well, now that she came to think of it, and tapped it to activate it. There was a flurry of whirring parts through the air around her head, and then the Headphones took form snuggly over her ears. She fiddled with their settings for a while, so that she'd be able to hear the voices of the students as she waited for the remainder of the class to arrive.

User ImageAstaroth, caught off guard by the sudden laugh, paused and looked back wondering what Danna was laughing at. Quirking his lips, he shook his head and let go to open the doors to the Flora Gardens just in time to see Quenda pass out the technorings. Curious, he took one and studied it for a moment before fixing it to the shoulder strap of his vest. It clashed horribly with his outfit and he frowned. Apparently it couldn't be helped, though, and he shrugged. He'd take it off once the class was over.

But what were they going to use these for....? He activated the ring and blinked as weight settled on his head. Brows drawing down, he removed the headphones, finding them uncomfortable. "This is Botany?" He sounded slightly confused. What did headphones - for drowning out noise - have to do with plants, which were silent?

Ubel was diverted towards the Flora Gardens and turned as such, touching Lior's arm as he went to guide him that way as well. He spotted Nadyrr as he did so, smiling happily and waving back at the boy. "Hi there!" he said as he caught up the other, smiling warmly. "How've you been lately, Nadyrr?"

Lior shuffled his way along to the Gardens, curious as to what was going to happen. As he arrived in another wave of students, peering about curiously. "Now, what's this...?" he murmured, eyebrows rising.

User ImageWalking into the Garden, Yalitza pauses looking around. She really couldn't help it as it was her first time really stepping into it. Pushing her hair through her hair she smiles as she makes her way towards the other students. Stopping only to take a technorings, she was flipping it over in her hands as she move to take a seat.

Setting her bag aside she gazes over the other students as she gives a small wavr to Nadyrr "Nadyrr!!" getting back up she pulls out her notebook before moving over to the others. Holding her notes out she smiles "Here are the notes from cooking class. I hope they can help you out."

Yambati visibly cheered at the mention of Botany, and he stood from the bench with a sigh, stretching. Botany it was. He took Kallisto's hand.

--

Technorings? He took one, and gave one to Kallisto before passing them on, though he didn't activate it just yet. He switched out one of his useless rings for the certed one he'd been given.

"Wonder what these are for..."

--

Biwa hurried into the gardens, trying to ignore the urge to draw what she could see. Various plants called out to her, and she wanted so much to take ink and brush and paint their spirits. But she had a class to attend to!

When she saw flashes of light, she blinked, pulling herself away from feeling the petals of a tree-borne flower. She recognized those flashes! Abacus!

She hurried over to the boy, smiling softly. She slowed as she drew near, fan before her as always but poised low. "Hello," she said, pleasantly.

Nadyrr smiled some brightening a bit hearing Ubel, "I've been well. And yourself?" He paused a moment trying to situation Gala in such a way that she wasn't left out of the conversation if she wished to enter it. Glancing over to the girl Nadyrr lightly nudges her forward some so she is less out of the way, "This is Gala, not sure if you two have met." He adds the introduction rather quickly trying not to speak over his own question. Nadyrr's eyes drift to Lior and he offers a small nod taking a moment to glance over the other boy; another new person he hadn't met yet.

He could see the technorings coming around their way as the paused to speak, and a quick glance at the professor gave him an idea of what they would be used for. Looked like it was going to be an interesting class.

Nadyrr gestured Yalitza over toward him and the others as she offered the notes. Giving her a smile he took them, "thanks, this is Gala, and Ubel..." he motioned to each as he said their names. Realizing that he had quite a group around him Nadyrr shuffled his feet a moment feeling suddenly shy.

Belwen stood to the side, studying her fellow students as she waited for the technorings to come around to her. Shuffling over to a group Belwen listened a moment but then took up one of the technorings. A rather pretty green one; not that it went well with the pink and blues of her dress but pretty nonetheless. Blinking slightly she felt the headphones go over her ears and frowned fiddling with them and trying to make it so she could hear those around her again.

((Belwen is kinda at a random spot wherever. Feel free to rp she is close to your group if you wish.))

User ImageClipping the technoring into her hair she smiles to Gala and Ubel "Please to meet you both."running her fingers over the technoring, she couldn't help but wonder what they would be used for. With a small shrug she smiles placing a hand carefully on Nadyrr's shoulder "Would it be alright if I sit with you today?" blushing she bites at her bottom lip. She was hoping she was stepping over her boundries, but she didn't feel like sitting alone anymore.

Glancing around at the other students she was taking in those she knew from faces. Ubel was one, as she had a sketch of him in her sketchbook. Glancing towards the other students she couldn't help but smile. A couple new faces she would be able to draw later.
