Carolyn covered her eyes as the dust went up around them. She coughed as it began to settle and was suddenly on the ground. Nala had knocked her feet out from under her just in time for the spear that had been thrust at her to pass right by. Carolyn growled as she threw a ball of light at the rat, sending it flying back. Constance darted through the crowd, slicing at the beasts attacking the Abbey. She ran past Carolynn and Nala, flipping in the air and kicking a fox in the face. Its head snapped to the side and it crumpled to the ground. Her body twisted to the side as a bolt of lightening shot past her and struck a rat in the middle of the chest. She looked around to see Cassandra wink at her before moving on. Cassandra had seen the rat running for Constance and had immediately shot a bolt of lightening at it. She was not going to let anybody hurt her family. She winked at Constance when the young woman looked at her and spun around, shooting several arrows in quick succession at others who were attack them. "Hot damn! What a fight this is going to be!" Merida laughed as she made it into the Abbey. Immediately there was a fox near her, and as it turned and sliced at her she dodged to the side. Her hand shot out, going into its chest. Once again she made it began to burn from the inside out. This was the most she had used this technique in a long time. She could already feel it dwindling her energy. But that was okay. She needed to help all those here.

Kasumi paused as she shifted, dropping down within Abbey yard next the to Carolyn and bisecting a ferret vertically as she landed. "Hajike, Tobiumi," she murmured, a tendril of flame swirling over the katana blade as it transformed, three hooking 'jutte' blades forming on the blade as she flicked it upward diagonally, releasing a fireball the size of a baseball at one rat, watching the rat explode as if hit by a bomb.

Merrick dropped to one knee as a brilliant crimson-gold aura flared around him as his form shifted, this time casting its own golden-red light as he transformed into his full beast form which stood easily seven feet tall at the shoulder and a little under nine and a half feet tall as his tails lashed about, either slamming vermin into the trees like pinballs or simply slamming them into the ground. Several were swept into the deep ditch on the opposite side of the road from the Abbey with the initial change. The very air seemed charged, as if lightning were about to strike.

Lorcán's jaw dropped at Merrick's change; he had humanoid hands on his forelegs, yet for the most part, he was a massive fox... that was extremely pissed off at the moment. Martha appeared in one of the windows, shoving a fat stoat off of the shuddering pile of slimy garbage that covered the front door, since Raga Bol had tried to burn it down; she gasped in surprise, seeing not only her new friends, but the strange glow that seemed to reach over the walls.

Brag stopped, gasping as Fenna, Springald, and Saro all stared in shock at the massive fox that stood a little less than two thirds as tall as the walls themselves.

Carolyn glanced over at Kasumi and grinned. "Good of you to show too." She blasted another rat into oblivion. "Although I must admit that I have been doing pretty good here by myself. It is nice though to have a little help."Constance's eyes widened when she saw Merrick's full beast form. She had never seen anyone so large, she had never felt anyone so powerful. It had distracted her momentarily and a spear caught her through her right shoulder. She growled loudly in pain and yanked back. The spear was pulled from the fox's hand as Constance stumbled back. She could tell that the spear had not hit anything vital, but it still hurt like hell. "Constance!" Cassandra exclaimed as she saw what happened. Her eyes flashed with anger and lightening flew from both hands, slamming into the fox. It convulsed, its mouth open in a silent scream. Cassandra walked forward and as she did so the fox lifted into the air. "Nobody hurts my family like that!" She hissed through gritted teeth.

Alede OOC - 'Flash in the Heavens, Thunder Princess' - Lorcan's release phrase
Kasumi tilted her head before she slid around Cassandra as the large rat with a hook for one paw and a large cutlass slashed downward at Cassandra's back before she heard the rumbling roar of Raga Bol again as she blocked the heavy slash with Tobiume, a trail of sparks following as the blades ground together. She heard a heavy thud as a massive badger with a nasty scar crossing his face and head landed on the ground yards away. He simply backhanded several vermin, ignoring the oily smirk that Raga Bol shot his way.

Merrick growled before he exhaled a blast of flames that incinerated several of the vermin as he cocked his head, noticing Carolyn as he snapped one clawed hand out and grabbed a fat stoat before slamming the stoat with a heavy boom into the ground, leaving a shallow crater.

Lorcán "Senkō ano Tengoku, Inazu-hime," he growled as he jerked his kusari-gama back sharply, the chains retracting into the ground in tendrils of golden energy as he caught the weighted end before it flared, shifting forms into twin golden bladed scimitars as its true initial release form was revealed.

Constance growled as she reached up and pulled out the spear. She looked to Cassandra, giving her a small nod as she spun around and kicked another of the attackers. They just seemed to keep on coming. She grimaced a little at the ache in her shoulder where the spear had been. Cassandra gave a quick nod to Constance before moving on. There was no time to stop. They had to get rid of all these vermin and keep the Abbey safe. She aimed her bow, shooting an arrow right between the eyes of the fox. Cassandra sensed someone coming at her and dodged to the side. She felt a sharp pain in her arm as a blade cut from her elbow down. She gasped as a flaming pain shot up her arm. Merida gritted her teeth as she moved quickly through the crowd. She had to stop her flame technique. If she did it one more time no doubt she would collapse. As it was she was pushing herself to keep going. She stopped short as a wall of dirt flew up in front of her, sending dozens of rats and foxes flying through the air. She looked to see Amelia give her a little salute before the wall went back down.

Kasumi saw Naruto flick a dull reddish brown pill at Merida to restore her strength. SHe covered her eyes as a flaring blast of light nearly blinded her.

Merrick managed to rein in his rage enough to shift into his human form again, though a swirling golden red aura still outlined his body and his tails and foxish ears were clearly visible. He pushed off, clearing the wall by a half dozen feet as he inhaled before exhaling a massive blast of brilliant bluish white flames that took the form of a large dragon's head that detonated on impact while he landed on the top of the wall before shooting at high speed forward, bisecting a couple of spear wielding searats before he somersaulted, landing near Constance.

Lorcán raised one of the large twenty five inch scimitars and slashed downward, a blast of brilliant silvery lightning ripping and electrocuting quite a few of the airborne vermin as he flicked the other, a bolt of pitch black lightning ripping through the chest and abdomen of one heavyset rat that staggered back from Cassandra with a bloody sword as he landed in a low crouch.

Merida caught the pill and looked at it. She gave a little shrug and popped it into her mouth, swallowing it. Soon she could feel her strength returning and she grinned. Constance looked over at Merrick and grinned as he landed next to her. She closed her eyes and shifted back to her human form. When she did she gasped and clamped a hand over her shoulder. It hurt more now that she wasn't in her other form. "Damn, that kind of hurts." She rolled her arm slowly, the ache slowly going down. Cassandra smiled at Lorcan and nodded slightly. "Thanks," she said as she looked down at her arm. Her arm was still throbbing, and the blood ran down her arm. "I really should pay more attention to my surroundings." She grimaced.

Kasumi cocked an eyebrow as the massive badger grabbed Raga Bol by the throat and twisted as two thumb thick spears slammed into the searat's back with a wet 'thunk' sound before an echoing snap sounded as the searat captain's neck snapped before the vermin started fleeing as three managed to get the gates open before they froze, clearly shocked at what had happened outside during Merrick's short 'full beast' rampage. She rolled her eyes as she and Naruto went to Constance and Cassandra respectively with healing green auras around their hands.

Merrick tilted his head with a faint half smile as he gently cupped Constance's cheek with one hand, not really noticing as one of his tails wound around Constance's hips, brushing lightly between her legs playfully.

Lorcán shrugged slightly as he shifted the scimitars before he noticed Kasumi walking towards them.

Constance smiled as tilted her head, brushing her cheek along Merrick's hand. She chuckled softly as one of his tails brushed playfully between her legs. "Hmm, now is not the time or the place for that I think," she said softly as she gave him a quick kiss. Constance's gaze flickered over to Naruto as he came towards them. Cassandra looked up to see Kasumi coming towards them, the healing green aura surrounding her hand. She smiled gratefully at her friend, moving so that her injured arm faced Kasumi. Merida had stopped near Constance and Merrick. She pushed her hair from her face as she grinned over at them. They had been fantastic in the fight. She was proud of the both of them. "Now that was a fight," she said with a nod of her head.

Kasumi tilted her head as she gently touched the wound on Cassandra's upper arm, focusing to numb it as the wound slowly healed; she knew the wound would ache for a while afterward regardless, however. Naruto did the same for Constance, somewhat impressed. "You're already healing pretty well; the wound was a clean pass... and trust me, I know about puncture wounds," he said with amusement. As he spoke, his jacket shifted, revealing a pale scar just to the left of his sternum that was easily the size of someone's fist.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow at Constance's words. "Really? I don't know about that," he said with amusement, making sure to keep his voice low enough for Constance alone to hear, though he noticed his uncle's lips twitching and was fairly sure he could hear them but was being polite for once and not saying anything to tease them.

Lorcán crossed the scimitars as they rippled with light, reverting to the form of the kusari-gama once more. "Seems," he said as the massive badger with the ugly scar on his face and head charged at the vermin clustered by the gate before simply pounding them. Of the remaining eighteen, only seven managed to flee out of the gates. It was then that he noticed the massive bow across the Badger Lord's back that was easily as tall as he was. Unconsciously, he whistled in surprise at the size of the large, clearly handmade, bow.

Cassandra let out a sigh of relief as Kasumi healed the wound. "Thanks," she said with a smile. She moved her arm a little, still feeling the ache. She shrugged a little and sighed. "Well that sure was an interesting fight." Cassandra's gaze followed Lorcan's as she watched the badger with the bow attack the fleeing vermin. Constance looked to Naruto, her head tilted to the side slightly. She had thought it would hurt more, and it seemed she had been right if she were indeed healing faster. Her eyes flickered down to the pale scar just to the left of his sternum. Her gaze went back up to his. "Well I for one am glad I am healing quickly. Means I won't be out of commission if another fight comes along. We can't seem to get a break."Merida walked over to where Merrick, Constance and Naruto were. She looked Constance over and smiled. "Glad to see you are okay."Constance smiled at Merida and nodded. "You too. And that was a nice little thing you were doing there."

Kasumi smiled slightly. "Hai. It was new for me, especially, not to mention Tobiumi," she said with amusement as the katana flickered with crimson-pink light before the hooking jutte blades dissolved away. Naruto chuckled. "Trust me, I know about rapid healing... didn't know until later that Kurama... was my darker side," he said with a sigh.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow. He frowned fractionally before he darted to the side in time for Martha, panting, to land in his arms as she lost her balance and fell out of a third floor window.

Lorcán tilted his head with a half smile before he flicked the chain, catching one vermin by the ankle as it extended, taking the ankle out from under him in time for the Badger Lord to drive a hammering blow down into the vermin's back with a loud rippling crunch that made it rather obvious, both from the location of the blow and the sound of the blow that the strike had broken ribs as well as spine.

Kaosujin Ryu okay only because I am a romance junkie...what if we got love interests for the other coven leaders? Totally up to you if you want to do it Cassandra nodded slowly. "I think it was new for a lot of us." She looked over to where Constance stood with the others. "I wonder when would be a good time to tell her," she mused softly to herself. She didn't think about Lorcan or Kasumi hearing what she said. Of course Lorcan would know what she meant. Constance smiled widely at Naruto. She already liked both him and Merrick's mother despite knowing them for such a short amount of time. She turned and followed Merrick with her eyes as he darted to the side and caught Martha in his arms. She hurried over to them. "Are you okay Martha?""Ouch, that sounded like it might have hurt just a little bit," Merida said as her gaze went over to the vermin that the large badger had just injured.

Alede OOC - I had actually planned on doing that anyway, especially for Merida, as I have a character I think that would fit her perfectly, though I wasn't planning on introducing him until they got to the Elemental realm. I was thinking of how to come up with characters for Carolyn and Amelia... though what if Amelia and Merida fell for the same guy?
Kasumi heard Cassandra murmuring, but not precisely what she said as she was focusing on sensing where the portal to the Elemental realm, sometimes referred to as the 'Elemental Countries', was. She frowned fractionally, her eyes open, but slightly glazed as she found the portal was further onward in the direction that Brag and Saro had been going in, to the southeast.

Merrick grunted slightly as Martha hugged him, trembling slightly. "When you need us, we'll be around, and don't doubt we won't find time to visit," he said with amusement.

Lorcán winced slightly. "Tell me about it... I wouldn't be too surprised if that badger could probably put his fist through those gates if he wanted," he said quietly. He didn't know that the gates were easily four inches thick at their thinnest and closer to a foot and a half at thickest. He noticed movement in time to see Martha land in Merrick's arms as Constance darted over to them. "Yes, though... at least I kept those two Dibbuns from falling," she said awkwardly as she pointed to two giggling mousebabes that were being held by the mousemaid that had been in the kitchen earlier with Hobbs.

Kaosujin Ryu great minds think alike ^_^ ...and that would be interesting, both of them falling for the same person...that would put a little bit of a strain on their relationship maybe..although Amelia would probably step to the side because she will live much longer than Merida. Constance looked up at the window and smirked a little. "Well it's a good thing you kept them from falling, and that Merrick was able to be here to catch you." She turned her gaze to Martha. "We found those who had run off. They should be safe now."Cassandra's head tilted to the side as she watched the badger. She wondered if he could get his fist through the door. After all it was a very thick door. She shrugged a little as she smirked and looked over at Lorcan and Merida. "Well that was the most fun I have had in ages," Carolyn said as she pushed her hair back out of her face. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes shone with amusement. She had always been so adamant about not fighting, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy kicking some butt when she needed to.
