Seeing that the glameow did not want the berry, Valarie simply pocketed it and used her now-free hands to turn on her small camera. She nodded eagerly at Magnolia's question, "Yep!"
Once Valarie managed to turn off the flash, she quickly snapped a few photos of Rho and checked them on the screen. Pleased with the quality of the photos, she smiled, "I always watched pokemon when I was younger; I used to live near a marsh."

Magnolia's messenger bag wiggled a few times at the camera flashes. Altais was not fond of the white blares; frightened by the prospect of what they were. The teen's eyes widened and she immediately fixed her bag behind her, feeling a small bead of sweat pearl on her cheek.
"Oh, really," she answered, trying to keep her cool. "Where was this marsh? I'm from Unova, Haven't seen anything like it myself; I'm from an urban area."
Rho squinted the first photo, but opened them wide the following few to make sure Valerie got satisfactory shots. After appeasing what the watcher wanted, he returned to Magnolia's side, and sat comfortably next to her.

Valarie gave Magnolia's messenger bag a strange look, but she shook her head-- she must be seeing things! Just excitement, that's all...
"Oh, it was the Great Marsh, the one in Pastoria City in the Sinnoh region." Valarie answered, "It's a great place, lots of pokemon to watch... Though some of them could be very temperamental if they don't get their rice balls." she laughed and pulled out her sketchbook and idly drew a few light sketches, "I heard Unova is a great place! Lots of tourists would share the stories of Reshiram and Zekrom when they visit. I even heard something about the Three Musketdeers and the fearsome pokemon of Lucanosa Town..." she rambled; Valarie loved hearing about the stories of legendary pokemon from other regions.

"Oh, the Sinnoh region? With Mount Coronet? I've read a lot about that place . . . " It was one of her favorite myths of the world (she's a big fan of the deity-like Pokemon in the region). At rice balls, she tilted her head, not really getting the joke. She let the drone of Valerie's laughter pass before she continued. "Yes, Reshiram and Zekrom is the most well-known myth of Unova. Everyone seems to know it. The heroic trio . . That's less talked about- Lucanosa Town?" Magnolia blinked. "I-I'm from there." She didn't have too many fond memories of her hometown, but she knew of the powerful town legend well. It was literally ingrained in her brain, making her unable to travel at night. "Kyurem . . . Frightening tale . . . "

"Yes, Mount Coronet!" Valarie was unable to control her excitement, "I read about it too... I always wanted to go there, but I'm pretty sure I would get lost..." she admitted. "You're from Lucunosa Town?" Valarie stopped sketching, "The story about Kyurem was always my favorite. Did anyone try to sneak out at night? Did anyone..." she was more hesitant about her next question, "...disappear?" she made a gesture of a 'poof' with her hands.

A look of concern was suddenly etched onto Magnolia's face; the first sincere expression she's given Valerie during their time together. It was slight, but evident in the slant of her eyebrows. "I-I don't know," she replied, clutching onto the strap of her bag in fright. "I mean, I wouldn't know. I've never traveled at night. Um, but because people don't travel come dusk . . . Maybe? So that's why people don't?"

Valarie nodded as she listened, she opened her mouth to say something, but she saw Magnolia grip her bag in fear, so she decided it was best if she changed the subject. "So... what have you read about Mount Coronet? Spear Pillar?" she asked in a bad attempt to switch subjects. Valarie had started to slowly sketch Rho again, casting quick glances at the glameow every now and then to make sure she doesn't mess up.

"Oh, a lot." Magnolia's grip onto her bag's strap loosened a good bit as the topic was changed. Directing her eyes down to her feet, she kicked up a pebble that made a hop, skip, and jump deep into the gym as it was swallowed by the darkness. "It's the place where Arceus made the trio of space, time, and antimatter. I heard an evil team is trying to take control of them. Just a rumor though . . . " Of course, it wasn't really uncommon gossip. Altais told her all about the gang that captured him and forced him awake. It was pure fact.

After healing her pokemon and getting a place to stay for the night Keria left the pokemon center and headed to the stores. Her first stop was the clothing store. She wanted to make sure she had proper cloths so that she didn't freeze to death before anything else. After that she would buy food.
She browsed the racks for a while before grabbing a warm long sleeved teeshirt. Moving to the coat section she got a black winter coat and pair of warm paints. Heading to the accessory section she grabbed a few purple scarves as well as some gloves.
Once she got all the cloths she needed she looked around and got a few various winter/ice hiking equipment and brought it all up to the register and purchased it.

"An evil team?" Valarie's ears perked up and she tried to ignore the pebble the skipped across the gym, "Do you know what they're called?" the watcher asked with a small bit of annoyance hinted in her tone. Valarie didn't like these evil organizations at all. They were always causing some sort of mess for others just so they can seize power-- control. The watcher's drawing slowed down a bit more so she could focus more on her conversation with Magnolia.

Rho blinked up at Magnolia. She had promised not to speak much on the crime syndicate that awoke Altais. He was sensitive to the topic and was adverse to them being called wholly "evil." Seeing how the legendary would react would be interesting.
"Uh-huh, I do. They're called . . . Team-" Suddenly, Magnolia's bag rustled again. The zipper parted a bit and the trainer could catch the cerulean eye of her companion peeking at her. Altais shook his head and she frowned at him. She didn't say it aloud, but she made it clear she had the liberty to talk about what she wanted.
"They're-" Her bag moved again, this time much more violently. Altais's face was in a frightening glower. He did not want her to talk. "They are-"
"Stop it! Leave them out of this!" Like shaking up a bottle of champagne, Altais burst like a cork from Magnolia's bag and darted himself in her direction. "You said you'd keep it a secret, you horrid girl! How dare-! How DARE you break a promise!"
The legendary and Magnolia held a glare toward each other for a handful of seconds until the female realized the legendary -- the one she was trying to keep secret -- was out in the open like a wound starting to fester. She immediately grappled the wish maker up despite his hostile protests and tried to stuff him back into her bag. "Ah- J-Just a plush. Don't mind this . . . At all . . . !"
Rho grinned. Her reaction was much more amusing than he thought it'd be. For once, she was pretty expressive.

Valarie was taken aback and stared at Magnolia's messenger bag; shock was written all over the watcher's face and her mouth hung agape. She stopped drawing Rho and the pencil dropped from her hand and she stutter, "J-just a p-plush?" she gave the bag a skeptical look, "I... I don't think a plush is supposed to burst out of your bag and glower at you..." she stated rather dumbly and her voice trailed off as she started to go on how a glowering pokemon plush would be bad for business because who would want to give their kid a plush of an angry... angry...
Jirachi?
Valarie allowed the realization settle and she gulped and shut up. The shock slowly washed away from her face and was replaced with a countenance of confusion, a small bit of anger, happiness, suspicion... and well, excitement. She did just saw the legendary Jirachi. Though, she saw it bursting out of a messenger bag of a trainer. A messenger bag. The watcher stumbled over her words and looked everywhere in the gym for something to talk about and forget about what happened.
Then she remembered there was absolutely nothing in here. (Nothing but her own belongings.) Who would want to talk about emptiness?
She glanced at Rho just to see how the glameow reacted to the situation only to see him grinning. Which must mean he must have saw the Wishmaker before, Valarie assumed. She also assumed it was time to face what happened.
"W-why are you hiding a Jirachi in your bag?" Valarie said weakly and blinked and remembered the caravan she had been following, "Are you part of that group of trainers outside?" she asked a bit stronger this time while she tried to keep the accusation in her voice to a minimum so she won't scare the other girl off. She wanted answers, but she won't be able to get them if she sounded mean now, would she?
She also knew that Magnolia has a glameow and a Jirachi on her side; and that they were in an empty building. Valarie winced slightly at her thoughts and then suddenly threw two hands up, "I-I promise I won't tell anyone! Nope! No one at all! I mean, that would be rude of me..." she exclaimed once panic took over her features. One of her hands then fell down to grab and sketchbook to use as a shield just in case the worst possible scenario occurs.

It was a long story, but the epic tale of the wish maker's journey was something the young trainer was willing to relay to make peace after the Jirachi's explosive appearance. Her jaw cracked and her throat croaked in an attempt to start at the very beginning, but her try came to no avail when Altais took the stand. She was silenced before she could even mutter a word as the Jirachi made his case.
"I was in there because I did not want to be seen by the likes of you," he said rather bitterly, emphasizing "you" especially to get his point across. "If this disgusting human hadn't incited my anger, I wouldn't be known right now."
Rho harrumphed and attracted the attention of Altais for a moment. His frown deepened toward the Catty Pokemon.
"Keep your snide remarks out of this, Rho," Altais commanded. "This has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with you." In response, the legendary Pokemon received a roundabout roll of the Glameow's eyes. It would be a problem he'd save for later. As of now, his liberty was on the line. "I'm not suppose to be seen by many humans, and you are a pair of eyes too many!"
Magnolia sighed and drew Altais back by placing a palm onto his small shoulder. Despite his anger, he allowed her to lightly pull him back so she could answer the question directed toward her. "Are you talking about the caravan?" she asked for clarity, but added a response nonetheless. "No, I'm not . . . Are you?"
Altais folded his arms across his bosom. "You better not," he commented offhandedly toward Valerie, keeping a tight glare on her.

Valarie gave the Jirachi a strange look, but she chose not to reply to him. Instead, Valarie chose the much safer path of answering Magnolia's question, "Nope, not at all." she answered honestly, "I'm just following them to make sure they're not plotting something bad." The watcher crossed her arms. Valarie attempted to keep her eyes off the Jirachi since he said he doesn't want to be seen by humans--- that she was a pair of eyes too many. It was a really difficult task, but she manged to be able to keep her eyes on her sketchbook while only occasionally looking up at the Wish Maker. She thought she deserved a pat on the back or congratulations for not gawking at the legendary.
Though, she really did want to say something to him. His statement of 'If this disgusting human' really, really bothered her. Magnolia allowed the Jirachi to hide in her bag, and, the watcher assumed, she kept him a secret from other people for a while now. Valarie thought the Jirachi was quite mean for that. If she was the Jirachi, she would be showing more gratitude for the trainer because of her efforts. Really, who wouldn't want to go around bragging they had just met the Wish Maker to their friends and family?
Valarie couldn't hold aback a nervous gulp, so she pulled out the oran berry from earlier and tried to eat it as quietly as possible.

The latter of Valerie's reply piqued Magnolia's interest. "Plotting something bad?" she repeated, tilting her head. "Are they really bad?" The young trainer shifted her attention to her bag. She rummaged about it for a moment until she withdrew one of the leaflets scattered about Katarina advertising the field trip across Zatao. She unfolded than glanced down to it as she continued. "This flier didn't come off as something suspicious. I mean, I was thinking of joining them . . . Before-"
Her eyes fell sideways to Altais, who had floated off away from the two girls, contemplating something unknown. Her path crossing with the legendary was a confusing matter for the fourteen year old. Magnolia wasn't sure if it was a blessing or a downright curse to be matched with the Wish Pokemon. While it tickled her pink to know she was affiliated with a legendary Pokemon (for a gal who placed them on a high pedestal, it was like a slice of heaven), but his bossy attitude made it feel like paradise lost. "Before something came up."
