The Nidoran, on the other hand, was quite pleased with her results... even if it resulted with her getting knocked head over heels. She tumbled over but rolled up, hissing and spitting. She wanted to rip this pathetic bug to shreds!
As the Anorith directed it's attention towards Phoebe, Vanni stumbled backwards, leg still in her grasp. She gave an experimental push of the leg, finding she could still put some weight on it. The girl gave a cursory glance of the field. As much as she would have wanted to take the shattered remains of the parasol with her, there were much more important things to worry about. Noticing the bloodthirsty look in Phoebe's eyes, she gave a short whistle. It was much better to get out of here and find a safe haven than try to keep fighting. And though Phoebe bristled, she turn and darted, joining the girl in their attempt to escape.

[OOC: Not sure if I'm supposed to roll on the first post disembarking the ship, but I will just in case.]
Nick stretched as he left the ship. He looked behind him to see who else was getting off, but saw no one with him. He knew the line was short, but this was not what he expected. Did none of the others plan to get off at Beginners Island? If not, where were they heading?
Oh well, it wasn't a big deal. Right now he had to focus on moving forward. Catching a pokemon and finding....
"An item only found where the past exists in the present," he could hear Rook's words in his mind clear as day. The Chono Stone. What was it? What did it do? It sounded like some sort of time traveling device. Did they want to use it to return to the old days when they were in charge, ruling over the land?
Nick shook his head. It didn't matter. It wasn't for him to worry about. He needed to move forward or he'd just be here wasting time... Not that he'd mind. This place was beautiful.

The Aerodactyl was quite literally blowing this pokemon off as useless. He had done supersonic before, and it seemed their confusion had been brief. Though it wouldn't be this time, it wouldn't be split between targets as he aimed it at the Growlithe once more.
Let this pathetic creature tear itself apart while he seek the Scraggy for his meal. He had made up his mind about it ...though he liked the idea of softer flesh ...fur wasn't easy to digest. So with that in mind, the Scraggy made for a much better meal ...as his flicks his tail from right to left and then open his mind to release such a screech that it would actually bend back those ....fossilized trees as his tail lashes the air as he used supersonic on the Growlithe.

The Nidoran male turned then and from his backside ...he would pull five long poison needles. He would with them in his maw hold him out to the cat. The bargain as far as he was concern was all in his favor ...for what could they hope to gain from taking form him ....needles that were poisonous.
He would put them down on the ground as he decided maybe a warning is in order.
((My spikes are poisonous ..... be careful how you handle them.))
He declares sharply as he waits for the cat to complete his side of the bargain.

For Victoria is hadn't matter, she was on her way back. If any creature dared to get in her path now, she had nothing to lose by fighting all out ...as she looked upon the new landscape. She had indeed thought she had taken the same path that she had traveled here, but she was quickly learning that this island had more twist and turns than a Purrloin.
That she had made the foolish mistake of thinking anything would be straight as she look onwards at the declining slopes. Then upwards, she was halfway there to the surface, but with no path in which to travel her choices were only down. Afterall, she was no mountain climber ...or one that scales mountains anyway ...as she placed one foot after the other and headed downwards instead of upwards.
Her eyes narrowed ....as she took what looked to be the straightest path down. She had no wish to kill herself with a foolish leap ...as she walks slowly downwards.
(I guess 1/10 once more?)

Most of the time it's impossible to stop a Gyarados that is raging ....as his tail thrashes from side to side, and the pokemon prepared to set the world ablaze with his roars and cries. Yet, at the sight of it ..he stopped, the sight of that which can save his beautiful mustache as he lowers his head immediately.
((Can you really save it ...my mustache?))
The pokemon would asks ...even though Raven couldn't understand it. He left his face and the curled up and frizzled Mustache where the boy could touch it ...could reach it ...as he looks with pure anticipation and hope at him.
Could he really save his mustache?
He could only hope that that was the truth.

It was true, for the Island that Nick would step upon would be at the darkness of night. The Moon would shine over head, and the forest itself seemed to sing and glow with life. For he had entered into the forest area of the island, and the world here was at peace with one another ...the air sweet with sweet scent ....as the creatures of the forest began their night time choir.
A single sound ...sweetest of them all would play .....a hand across her mouth as she played with a single leaf a sound that seemed to lead that nighttime choir.
Her eyes would fall upon the boy then ...as she narrowed them and stopped her song. She hated when they came and interrupted their nighttime play as she slips free of the branch and lands with a smooth motion in front of Nick.
A Nuzleaf.
"Nuz-leaf."
She commands.

Claudandas nodded quickly. [Give me just a moment]
The Purrloin about turned, not yet taking the needles lest they anger the Nidoran into thinking he was running off with them, but in a moment, the Nidoran would hear a yelp as feline claws sunk into human flesh and Jasmine was brought quickly to her feet!
"Wait, hold on, give me a second!"
They'd come back literally moments later, Jasmine pulling her poncho back round herself, blinking at the Nidoran, offering at least a smile, but more surprised when she saw the spines now laid out before them on the ground.
She looked from the Nidoran, to Claudandas who looked at her expectantly, before a paw was placed on her pouch, then looked back to the two.
She wasn't sure what to make of it, they would just let her have them?
No, they were waiting on something else... a meow of expectation occurred the same as any feline owner knew meant their cat wished something.
Puzled, Jasmine reached into the pouch to open it, "Alright, I-"
She never finished, as Claudandas reached his head right in, dangling out by his hind legs as Jasmine fought to stop the pouch ripping with him getting inside it!
One humorous but rather chaotic looking extraction later, Claudandas place ddown the Cornn Berry before the Nidoran, bobbing his head. [Apologies, my companion here is very capable, but she lacks the ears to understand things]
Jasmine meanwhile, was straigthening her pouch, she looked at the scene there as the Purrloin would nudge the berry toward the poison rabbit... and looked at the spines... a Trade?
It was quite a scene to find, as she would have chuckled at it, but she kept quiet and simply smiled politely, waiting for the trade to be completed.
[Thank you for your help also, it was most fortunate finding a pokémon as yourself so quickly to help us!] The cat extended his claws, raking in the spines, but never touching them beyond his clawtips, trying to pull them into a small bundle so Jasmine could get them together.

(( Good trade. And, same to you ....you would be surprise how many trainers and their pokemon try to force their will on us here.))
Though the Nidoran's ears would go up straight as a thought came to him before he would pick up the berry. HIs eyes would look upon the girl once more and then back to the cat.
((Tread carefully here, beyond this point there are pokemon that will attack you and not ask once about your intentions. There was a human child not too long ago whom had killed here beyond the rules ...it took a life after the pokemon had been beaten.
So be careful))
He would pick up the berry then and trots away. A few spines wasn't a lot to ask for such a rarity amongst his kind as the Nidoran male would actually disappear down a small hole in the side of the tunnel. One that would fit the Purrloin, but inwhich, Jasmine would have no hope of following.

Claudandas sat attentive enough as the Nidoran spoke, he listened, and his eyes widened at the thought in his head.
A human, killed a pokémon it had already beaten in battle?
The thought was an unspoken rule, a law of which that had went on forever... for that rule to be broken...
He glanced back quickly, seeing Jasmine, as the girl took her smock, using it to now pluck up the spines and hold them, wrapping them good and well before she'd place them in her pouch, looking up with a smile to the Purrloin, they were good.
[Where did this human-] Claudandas turned back, but only in time to watch the Nidoran vanish, he bit his teeth down... he wouldn't give chase, he now knew he had to stay by Jasmine's side.
"Alright... I think we can move on if you're ready too Claudandas?"
The cat wheeled about with a new urgency on her, Jasmine nearly leapt back as the cat suddenly was up again on hind legs, beating paws at her belt, she suddenly frowned, watching him bat back and forth at Lindbergh's pokéball.
"Claudandas, what-"
[I know you can't hear a single stupid word I'm saying, but take a hint!!!] He meowed back and forth until finally she took the ball... and unleashed their old friend.
The fly scorpion appeared in a red haze, standing still for a moment, blinking perplexedly... before finally screaming, covering his head and flailing! [Water! Water! Get it off me!!!]
The Gligar didn't have long to continue her act, seemingly disoriented, having not been brought out of her ball since her sudden defeat, but now, the Purrloin landed atop her, pushing her to the ground with a hiss!
[Keep your voice down!] He warned, eyes alert. [...The Tympole are gone... but we may be in trouble.]
Jasmine could only watch on, as the pair talked back and forth, looking around instead as they spoke, while she looked for a new pathway, still trying to move towards that huge clock...

[What?! ] Lindbergh hissed back finally, now allowed on her own two feet and looking around this strange cavern. [You're serious?!]
Claudandas simply nodded solemnly, he had no imagining now how dangerous this could be... when they had travelled, they may have been ahead of the curve, but now, he couldn't begin to imagine the frenzy they would work themselves into.
[We both need to stay alert... at all times]
[And this is vitally important, Lindbergh... we cannot allow any of them to harm Jasmine... not even the slightest bump]
[Why the hell's that then?] The Gligar snorted, folding arms in her more familiar stubborness, suddenly put off at the idea of doing anything more than required.
The cat glowered at her.
"Hey, guys!" The girl called out, piercing their imposed silence. Both turned in an instant to see her clambering up further on the wall! "Are you both ready?"
Claudandas grimaced, what was the pokemon to human translation for 'hush, they're going to kill you?'
He just looked at Lindbergh, before pouncing up the rockface. [We'll talk more later!]
The Gligar 'hummphed', turning around, ignoring them, letting them keep going... until she was left alone for a moment... and heard the ticking, ominously going, further and further onward... the eerie silence all around... she gulped... and then quickly opened wings to jump after them. [Wait for me already!]

Impromptu cursed his enhanced hearing at this moment, and as the Supersonic hit him all he could do was bow his head down and put his ears to the side. The brim of his hat covered his face, leaving only his nose sticking out as he tried to endure.
Ada herself couldn't bear it, and it wasn't even targeted at her. Maybe it was the sound travelling, or maybe it was watching the Growlithe, but it all seemed painful to her. She put her hands over her ears, yeah, as if that would help...
As the Aerodactyl's screech faded and died down, Impromptu was left with his head bowed and his ears down, the spot in front of him with two lined in the dirt leading to him. It was a strong move, enough to push him back no matter how firmly he held onto the ground. And now, his body stiff, he stayed right where he was.
And then, a giggle. Which turned into a laugh. The dog laughed like a maniac, "> Bwuh...BWAHAHAHA! You think that you can take me down like that? <" His head lifted up, showing a big grin on his face and those glowing gold eyes. "> I've faced beasts bigger than you before, Arceus knows they were far more intimidating! <" Of course, every time someone came in with a Gyarados he lost but...he still faced them!
The Growlithe, with that grin a cheshire cat could envy, ran at the Aerodactyl again, mouth slowly becoming wide open. It would almost seem as if he was going crazy, perhaps one supersonic too much? Ah, couldn't be helped now...as he was intent on Biting down on the creatures tail once more.

Nick didn't understand the language of the pokemon, but the intent was clear. This Nuzleaf was not happy to see him.
However, Nick crouched down. "I understand you aren't happy to see me, but I have no intention of doing harm. Actually, I'd like to hear the rest of your song, if that's okay."
[OOC: Do I need to roll? I've already encountered a pokemon and we're not fighting right now. Sorry sweatdrop ]

With the male gone, it would be a female that they would come across ....as she scampers across the rock terrain. While the male had simply been looking for food she was looking for something else as her eyes would fall upon the human and her pokemon and her ears went backwards against her skin. Her eyes glaring hot, as she rushes towards the girl with her head down as she didn't give a warning as she charged.
She hated them ...she hated the humans with an intensity that was only down graded by the fact that the she hadn't had the pleasure of killing one ...until now. She wasn't going to stop ...as she came at Jasmine full speed with the intentions of knocking her to the ground as she aims to bring her down and then scratch her.

The Aerodactyl declares sharply as his tail would flick from one side to another. A smile graced his face ...as he took one strong step forward and then the other. His eyes narrowed to a point as he saw the pokemon's bite coming towards him and instead of simply dodging he would swipe with his wing. Not a wing attack ...as he meant to only knock the dog away to display his strength and power with that single move, and then ...then he was going to kill the puppy first.
The pokemon had actually gain his rage, and that ...was a foolish ...foolish thing to go indeed.
