Short notice I know, but...what about a May Day dance on the grounds Sunday night? I figure the wizarding world has a lot to do with pagan and druid stuff, so why not? And if that's no good, how about a Midsummer's Night Dance? Like a summer get-together at the castle one night? I guess I'm just feeling summer-y today lol.

Ooh! What about a Miss Hogwarts Pageant during June as well? And how are the plans for the seventh years' graduation going? Lol, lots on my mind today.
I think for the ball we should vote for a King and Queen, but I think if we do the best couple, they can't win that and King & Queen. I don't know how well a dance contest will work. This is sounding like a Hogwarts prom, honestly. Why not go for everything like class clown, most likely to succeed, etc.?

To be completely honest, I think that the teachers shouldn't be allowed to win the contests... That's just my opinion. =x I mean... I think it should be an event for the students... You don't see teachers winning cutest couple at schools without magic. But then again, there are only about... three non-teacher/ teacher-student couples... I don't know. That's just an opinion to be put into consideration.
As for the dance-off idea, I really like it. Here's my idea for that though: We have the students roleplay, and at the same time, we do a dice-rolling contest or a random number contest. The first person to get the certain number will win the dance off... Although my character danced her whole life before coming to Hogwarts... That's just an idea to make it fair. Or we have a vote. [= By the way, Ginelle is going to come and ask about making an [i]actual dance club for hogwarts soon.

Ooh, good point. In real schools people would call the cops before they voted their teacher cutest couple with a classmate. And teachers dating each other doesn't happen often in real schools too. I agree with Yami.
