0-Azula-0 Aludra Yvette... "Hang on tight now." she grinned at Chris as she felt him grab tight onto her sleeve. Aludra pointed her wand at his hand and said "Relashio!" she said in an elevated tone. ...6th Year Slytherin ((Do I feel a love square coming on? xd ))
The spell hit me in the chest and a cold, stinging feeling ran through my body. I was pushed backwards by a strong force and my hands released their grip, on Aludra's sleeve, immediately.
That was brilliant, I say to her.
Now my turn.
Grab me wherever you like, I say to her while laughing out loud.
((No! A love square would cause too much drama. eek ))

Sparrow walked up to the statue again determined to get the spell right she readied her wand and yelled, "Furnunculus!" The statue became covered in boils which Sparrow found disgusting, but she was glad that she got the spell at last.

I believe Merpeople have been able to domesticate them
and keep them as pets.

No, it isn't the clabber, Harmony. But 5 points to Slytherin for participating. Well done, Nub! 10 points to Gryffindor! It is, in fact, merpeople that have been known to domesticate them and as you said, keep them as pets. Also known as the water demon, the grindylow lives in the weeds at the bottom of some lakes in Great Britain and Ireland. If you were to be attacked by one, the trick to free yourself would be to break their grip. Their long fingers are strong, but are also very brittle.

Ravenclaw, second year. ::Walking into the classroom, Sabrina sits down to copy the notes on the board. After realizing what she's written down, she pulls out her wand and heads over to the nearest boil-free statue.:: Ugh, This is the second class where my assignment has involved something repulsive. I hope they aren't all like this... Oh well. Here goes nothing...::Waving her wand, Sabrina gives a flick of the wrist, yelling out the incantation.:: Fernunculus!::Sabrina watched as the statue before her started producing rather hideous-looking boils. She stepped back, wrinkling her nose.:: Well, it looks like that ought to do it.::Grabbing the cure potion, Sabrina awaits the professor's approval, so she can clean the statue for the next student.::"Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind..."

First Year Slytherin.
Upon walking into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom Marley turned to look at the board. Scrawled on there were the lesson directions for the day. Quickly noting these, the young witch made her way across the classroom and toward the nearest available statue.
She reached into her sleeve and removed her wand. 'Hmm... ' She hummed, touching her index finger to her chin, considering how to go about doing this. 'Alright, here I go,' she whispered before exclaiming, "Furnunculus!" She flicked her wand in the direction of the statue and waited for the boils to appear. A few popped up, but nothing to the extent that it should have been.
'Uh hunh.' She said, placing her hands on her hips and tilting her head to one side. She blinked a few times, staring at the statue that was plagued with an insignificant number of boils. Raising her wand one more time, Marley swished her wand in the statue's direction and said, a little louder than the first time, "Furnunculus!" And in a whoosh of magic, boils covered the statue. With a smile of accomplishment, Marley turned on her heel and waited for the professor to grade her work.

Since I was done with the spell, I headed back to my desk, giving Professor HPF a nod after she thanked me for resetting the ropes. Sitting down I watch Aludra practice the spell with Chris, seeing that Chris was about to test the spell out on her I eyed him, wondering how hard he would cast the spell knowing full well that I was watching him.
