She had been cleaning up her duplex when she heard the tink of the rock hitting the window. Her ear twitched, but she returned to sorting her laundry. Only after several rocks had hit their mark did she actually get up off her rear to see what the hell was making the noise.

Glaring at the window in question from across the room, Antony cocked an eyebrow when she saw nothing. With a shrug, she turned around to go back to her folding.

Tink.

"God damnit!" The squirrel woman snapped as she spun around, narrowing her eyes at the window until another rock came sailing into the unbreakable glass.

Oh, well that made more sense.

Cautiously, she made her way over to the clear glass and peered out of it, blinking in surprise when she saw Billy in a wheelchair. It was then that she opened the window so she could speak to him, "Hey Billy!" She yelled down to him.

God he was ugly.

He frowned up at her, tentacles fidgeting anxiously, "Coul' I come up?" His request was short and simple. "I coul' crawl if'n y'coul' carry me chair."

She stayed silent for a moment or two before disappearing back into her duplex. Only after she had grabbed a bottle of water from the kitchen did she make her way down to him. The woman was still iffy on his coming up and making her duplex, correction, her nice clean smelling duplex, stink of fish.

But she didn't want to be too rude.

Opening the bottle once she was in front of him, Antony offered it to him. "Sure but, why not your place since it's ground floor?"

"Don' ask. I'd rather no' go back there," He answered gruffly, taking the water thankfully to dribble a bit into his mantle cavity to appease his half formed gills. It looked a bit like he was drinking with his ear. After a good sigh, he drained the rest of the water over top of himself, "An' I doubt ye'd be comfortable at me new lodgin's."

Antony tried her damnedest to keep her face as passive as possible, but it was hard. "It's just... I've just cleaned it..." She began carefully, running a hand over her face for a bit, offering him an apologetic look of sorts. It was obvious that she wasn't pushing him away persay, just suggesting they move it elsewhere than her duplex.

"I still have your duplex key too, I think."

"I though' ye WANTED me t'visit more?" He glared up at her, his face splotching with bits of color in his frustration, "I really jes' need t'get away, alrigh'? I'm sick o' that damned place, an' if yer worried I'll stain yer precious furnature, then fine, I'll take it elsewhere," He hissed, readying himself in his chair to turn away.

"Shut up Billy," she snapped, narrowing her eyes at him. "I did say that, but I've also been in my room way too much too..." Her voice had softened after a few breaths, and she glanced over in the direction of the lake. "The lake's shady right...?"

The albino was squinting already, trying to shield her eyes from the sun as much as possible.

"Aye, in some parts," He huffed, "I jes'..." He shook his head, "I don' wanna go back there. I need t'... feel human righ' now, if'n y'know wha' I mean." He figured he should get to the point. She hadn't beaten around the bush about it, and neither would he. "Y'came t'me when y'needed help, an' I need help meself righ' now."

Antony swallowed and nodded, closing her eyes for a moment before reopening them and catching his inhuman eyes, "As long as we can go somewhere other than my duplex? Unless we can make this work in the shower or bath...?"

Payback was a b***h.

He caught the look in her expression, and couldn't help but feel insulted. He didn't blame her, of course... he blamed Big Red. It still didn't make this any easier. "Y'know wha'? Fine. Fine. I aint forcin' y'into nothin'. Ne'er mind."

"No," she said sharply, suddenly wishing she had her sunglasses at the moment, "You're going to stay." As disgusting as sex with him like he was seemed to her, she couldn't help but feel guilty while understanding his urge to feel human again.

Billy didn't answer, shifting uneasily in his chair as he twisted his limbs about in an attempt to keep them out of the way of the wheels and in a position to keep him sitting upright. There was a fishbone stuck in his beard he had seemingly missed when he had tried to clean himself up befor heading over.

Fish bones? Blech. She cleared her throat and made a chin wiping motion while glancing down at his beard.

He didn't notice, his eyes on his legs. "Then where'er ye want," He sighed, "I don' care. If yer bein' forced into this y'a' least coul' be comfortable."

"You're -not- forcing me," she said with acute sharpness, eyes darkening for a moment before she turned to start pushing him towards the stairs. This way, he wouldn't have to crawl on the dirt. "The shower should do."
