Incultyr stayed at the Hospital all night, waiting outside the door where Altus was recovering and being monitored. The news came early in the morning, before the sun
had risen.

"W-what!?"

Morana pushed open the doors of the Hospital, her head heavily bandaged.

"Incultyr!" She cried out, spotting the Larvitar sitting in one of the waiting chairs, staring blankly at the floor. The houndour bounded over to him, each step jostling her cracked skull-bone, but she ignored the killer headache and nausea. She stopped in front of her partner, eyes wide.

"You and Altus didn't come back yesterday. Zero said he was hurt; how is he?"

Behind her a Cherrim and Butterfree came in, having been just as worried as Morana about their teammates. They heard about what happened yesterday; the God of Destruction. At least one Pokemon died yesterday.

Incultyr took a steadying breath, looking up sadly at the houndour.

"He's gone." Incultyr looked away, avoiding Morana's eyes as they widened in shock. Behind them the girls gasped, and within seconds the two were clinging onto each other, sobbing.

Everyone knew, everyone expected, and everyone braced for a team member's death. It came with being an exploration team. But it came too suddenly, and none of them wanted to accept it.

Incultyr hopped off the chair, awkwardly patting Morana in a comforting way as she fought back tears. Incultyr himself was at a loss for what to do. The larvitar had grown up in the wilds of the mountains, and had never felt the sting of loss. It hurt even just that much more, knowing that his best friend did not leave peacefully and without regrets:

"No...I don't want to...d..." were his last words, spoken when they had arrived at the hospital.

Raven cringed a little at the sudden ghoulish touch on his body. Barely able to show any more of a response besides a nodding head to the question presented to him. It was obvious he was quite out of it at the moment; painkillers surging through his system and a newly wrapped set of bandages adorning his right arm where a skin graph was recently placed. Stitches proving unable to heal the wounds he received in the area. Barely conscious his eyes peered around the room, taking a fairly long time to comprehend the scene around him. Soon enough though he tried to speak, voice raspy and worn.
"..Zori.."
He peeped out. If in the right of mind his tone would naturally be filled with concern. Taking his eyes away from the feverish Eevee he let his head flop to the side so he was now staring eye to eye with Suki.
"Is she alright?"
He asked.

Raven cringed under the plethora of information that was shot at him in seemingly perfect unison. From the sounds of it he was one of the more lucky survivors... Even in his condition though Zori was priority and heavy loads of medication or not he had to help her. With a bolt of energy he was in a seated position; wobbling like crazy but upright.
It seemed the best processed information he got out of his teammate's ramblings was that the necklace was causing all of the Eevee's problems. Without second thought he reached out to the end of the bed where Zori was being held with his still usable hand and grasped onto the jewel hanging from the chain around her neck. Due to his lovely pain-killer filled system it took him a moment to react to the fact the skin on his paw was practically being seared off...
Within moments he was back on the bed, curled around himself in severe agony that only a burn wound can cause even through all the medication. Without hesitation he nudged his head towards the emergency button located on his bed and efficiently managed to press it. Within moments a torrent of nurse Chanseys were rushing in, tending to his new wounds, and beckoning his company to leave. Mindful that Zori seemed to also be troubled also they offered her a room and treatment.
