What is it about women and hunting? What's the deal with that? The minute you tell them that you are an avid hunter they freak out on you!

JustinShowcase Well…I like to bird hunt (duck, geese, pheasant) and I like to deer hunt. The cute ones, some are remind of Disney characters. Like "You kill Bambi??" Or some are more attracted to the animals and won't hurt a flea. I don't mind hunting as long as there are used for food and not sport.

I know too many women hunters to go along with that little story. I don't mind hunting when you plan on eating what you're hunting. To take a life just for the sport of it I'm not so good with. It's really not much different than fishing ~ what'd the little fish ever do to deserve a hook in the mouth? BTW ~ Doe venison is much more tender than buck. ninja

*Gilda stops in to check the bar and is met by Pierre, who motions her over. As she gets closer, he catches her arm and pulls her to a quiet corner. After several minutes in deep conversation, Gilda nods and pats his arm. Without another word, she scurries out of the bar cell phone in hand.*

From my experience, the women that have a problem with hunting have the idea that some animals are alright to kill while others are not. The "cute ones" of course are never thought of as "killable", whereas "livestock" is perfectly fine. In reality, there is no difference... they are all animals.
It is good to point out that killing a deer is not different from killing a pig, and killing a bird is not different from killing a chicken. It is the same. If the woman enjoys eating these animals, then it is hypocritical to believe that hunting is horrible while slaughter houses are perfectly okay.
Of course, if the woman is vegetarian then she would see killing any animal for whatever purpose as bad.
