"Right-o. Lets hit it." Seth said leading her down the hall. They had been walking for a bit when he said. "Sal seemed kinda off today when I saw him. A bit more nervous than usual...Maybe it's that new mission I gave him."

Kirai smiled softly, and turning around, wrapped her arms around him. After a moment she let go, and said, "Edward, I shall put things rather bluntly. Avarice is not interested in killing me again. Salazar broke another person into Vaclav, and they stole pages out of one of Avarice's old books. It is my shame to say, Salazar seems set against us, or at the very least, myself." Kirai was perfectly calm in saying this, mainly becausr she had already thought it out.k

Edward thought about it for a second. "I can see why he would be against us, considering the attraction he held for you. Though I would have a hard time believing a friend of mine betraying our cause. Would you like me to investigate this? Or would you prefer and out right execution?" Edward hated the idea either way, but for the cause they were fighting for, he would take care of business if needed.

"Please investigate, just to confirm if he is indeed sided with Avarice or not." Kirai said this, showing a bit of guilt and shame, although not being too concerned with Salazar himself. If anything, she was more concerned with the fact he knew so much information, but nothing could be done about that now. "Edward, as well... I believe it would be more effecient to work on taking care of Avarice's pawns, as well as his sister, first. However...." Kirai brushed a strand of gold hair away from her face, "What do you think would be best, Edward?"

Edward reached for a second stray hair. "I think that is a sound plan. Taking out the pawns early enough, lets you win the game that much sooner. But I also think that we need to make sure we don't lose focus on the bigger picture."

Lily nodded. "He was pretty mad when I fell asleep. So he is at least over that then I am guessing?" Lily shook her arm, because it had somehow gone numb. "Wait, new mission?"

"Yeah. I wanted him to check out this castle I had found on my travels. See what was happening there." Seth said as he turned the corner and saw Edward and Kirai. "There we are. Hey. You two!"

Kirai turned to face Seth and Lily, and bowed. "A very good night to both of you." Standing back straight up, she folded her hands infront of her. "Yes, I have noticed the new castle in Haven, as well. I do make plans on personally visiting those who dwell there in the near future. Now, might I ask who you sent over to check out the new castle in Haven?"

Seth facepalmed. "You know maybe I should carry around big boards that have my every thought and action on them." Quickly straigtening up he spoke. "Salazar of course. He gets the job done. I'm Seth by the way, Seth Usher."

Kirai paused. No, I doubt he has had time to go there yet. I need to attend to visiting there faster than origionally planned, so it seems. Wearing a smile, Kirai bowed again. "Seth, I am very pleased to meet you. In case you are not aware, may I introduce myself. My name is Kirai, the owner of Vaclav." Standing up, Kirai decided, I shall allow the others to inform Seth of what has happened to his friend. Turning to Edward, then back to them, Kirai said lightly, "I should go on ahead and prepare to make my way to visit our new neighbors. Considering all, it would be best I make haste." With that, she bowed again to them, excused herself, and walked down the hall.

Kirai returned less than thirty minutes later. Taking off her long, cold and snow-wet cloak, she silently moved back upstairs where Seth, Lily, and Edward were.
