The dogs failed to notice, or care, one or the other, or both.

I got a conniving smile on my face and exchanged a look with Devin. He smiled back and nodded and we both changed wolf. I run off after the three that went to attack the Pyranese who was sitting on Moon. "No you don't, you hurt the dog you'll end up hurting Moon and then you'll be hurt. I'm saving you're unimportant lives," I say blocking the Chaos Kitten attack trio.
I go after the real Chaos Kitten after Alie blocked trio number two. "Call them off and I won't bite," I say taking the cat's back in my mouth. I hold back my gag because he's still covered in catnip.

She gets a mango smoothie from the machine. Tuning around she looks down at Scott, the St. Bernard, wondering if he'd play the part of pillow. He sneezed, and she decided to sit at a table instead. She giggled when she noticed the kitten slowly stalking Scott.

The cats decided to tackle Alie instead while the other two groups charge Devin. "This is for stealing my name!"

"Whatever, kid" I say and move my teeth to his scruff, picking him up and tossing him to the side in a way he does a fun little flip and lands in Wolffan's lap.

She finishes her drink. Leaving the glass on the table she gets off of her chair and crawls over to Scott. "Mmm furry warm pillow." She pets his ear as she lays down and talks quietly, "Good boy, good Scotch"

"Scotch? As in the drink?" I ask, curious to know whether that was a sleepy mis-naming or the dog's actual name.

"Yep, this is Scotch, Scott for short." she patted the St. Bernard. Pointing at the Great Pyranese that stretched, sending white fur floating into the air she continued. "That is Vodka, or Ka or V for short. And that" she pointed to the Newfoundland that was sleeping on a now-gray area of a white rug, "is Gin, or Ginny."

I changed back to human and grabbed up all three of the little Chaos Kittens then turned to listen to Nathan and Lillian's conversation. I couldn't hold back my giggles. "Imagine if you were to go up to a random person talking about their dogs and say 'I love Scotch, Vodka and Gin,'" I said.

That would be funny if I didn't have this huge dog on me. I try to push the dog off, but it won't budge.

I whistled for the dog, "Vodka, here pup," I said, trying to help the girl who was sometimes a fox.

I used to have a Cocker Spaniel named Brandy. But my alcoholic Grandma named him. Go figure.

Ka put her large head between the couch and the girl. That was it. "It isn't that odd, since a common St. Bernard name is Brandy because they were originally bred as snow rescue dogs that carried a small barrel of brandy on their collars for people they found. I think alcohol makes it harder for your body to stay warm so I think it was counter productive, but a st-bernard laying on you, wet or not is sure to make you warm, or numb do to lack of blood flow..." Scott got out from under the moving owner to lay somewhere else. He settled for sitting next to Alie, and leaning against her, slowly and ninja-like adding more and more of his weight, the lazy beast.

Well at least I'm not a fox at the moment, or else...I don't want to think about it. I stood up, and went over to a chair. I sat down, happy to be cat and dog free for the moment.
