"You designating my fighter her wasn't your choice to make Issildia, but go, I won't keep you." He held his sword aloft high over his head- liberi falconi.

"Adenia, If I manage to get you, will you tell me who sent you? If not then I'll waste no time and cut out your tongue first."

The dragon paused in it's fiery onslaught to take another breath to fuel it's next attack. Issildia allowed the shield composed of light to dissipate. "It's not like you did not wish to face her." she said wryly before her form dissipated in a flurry of shadows. Issildia reappeared near the left foreleg of the ebony dragon and instantly lashed out with her blade tearing a gash along the inside of the dragon's leg. The beast reared up in pain forcing it's rider to leap off and become a fair bit easier for them to deal with. As the dragon's front legs came back to the ground it instantly moved into a crouch before suddenly leaping into the air, Issildia caught the trailing metal webbed leather reins that Adenia used to control the beast with as the dragon leapt into the sky. As the dragon shot upwards she gave Khastur a final glance before she was drawn upwards with the creature.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Adenia flexed the steel joints of her new clawed gauntlet in apprehension as she looked over at her opponent. "Use a bit of logic and it should be apparent as to who's servant I am now...my former master, the Lord Nevar now despises the Ryera...and the Ryera are the only necromancers in this kingdom that can raise the dead...you must be far more thick-headed that I first thought." she added dryly.
They hadn't noticed, and neither had Archer until it was too late to notice, but El had almopst melted, but did not drip. He came over Archer's skin, and into his mouth eyes and nose, covering his body rapidly. He tried to let out a yell when he noticed, but it had covered his mouth, and he fell back, and sand covered him mysteriously. When He arose, his skin was metallic grey, his eyes black, his hair flying in the wind, black as night. His wings were gray and he was smooth like abullet. He carried no weapons or markings, and was barely recognizeable. It was no longer Archer, a nd it was no longer Eleazor the wise. It was Yggdrasil, demon of the Angels. His wings trailed at the bottom, like a ripped garment, his emotions conflicted between El's and Archer's, and between both of theirs, and Yggdrasil's. The metallic body came into veiw of Khastur and Adenia, and smiled a deadly smile.
Kuchane laughed slightly "Master, there are no worries." He spoke a dead language, from so deep a region in hell, Zeo could not understand it, though it is not undoubtable he had heard it before. He shone with a black light, and fire shone in a pentagram on his hands, funneling power from nonexistance, his eyes ablaze. "Master, let me continue, and I will make this place unbreakable to any standards, let light or darkness fall on us."
~Somewhere to the East of Larovia, there lies a vast forest...a dead forest. A forest that has been condemmed for centuries. Within this forest, the roars of a new and evolving creature can be heard in the distance. A creature that was once a noble guardian. A man was seen enterring the forest some time ago, but he had not come out. He was indeed approaching the site where the roars were hailing. He was soon met by another man...one that bore a remarkable resembleance to himself. Both bore Blood red hair, and dark skin, hoever, the man that now appeared bore indigo colored eyes, rather than the fiery orange that the younger of the two.~
SO you finally show yourself? What do you want?
I only wished to check up on my children.
You've done more than enough 'checking'. It would be wise to leave here. You know as well as I do what he is to become.
Yes, that is why I cannot leave. I will make sure the infection plays its course. Maybe even accelerate it a bit.
What if he cannot handle it?
The Chroma will protect him. Just as the Omni protects you.
You have a way with words. stare Don't you have something more important to do?
Mind your tongue child. I am still your father.
Perhaps, but even you can be killed.
You and I both know that this is not where or how I die. Your time will come. Just be patient until then.
~The two of them continue to make their way into the forest. The roars only seem to grow louders as they walk. The light of an indigo colored flame can be seen as a part of the forest is burning in an inferno. They did not know just how much of the forest was engulfed, but they knew that they were getting closer to mtheir target.~
As Adenia's dragon climbed higher into the sky, Issildia managed to coil the thick leather reins around her left hand as she dangled at the creature's side rather helplessly.
In an attempt to throw Issildia off, the dragon banked sharply, momentum catching hold off the dangling Issildia and causing her to circle outwards, but Issildia used the ensuing recoil of the movement to continue the movement and come swinging onto the beast's neck. In an attempt to save time Issildia instantly cut the leather cords away from her left hand with her blade once she gained a semblance of steady footing on the dragon's shoulder blade.
As she managed to free herself from the reins the dragon reacted by turning into another sharp bank, climbing ever higher as it did so. To avoid falling off the beast Issildia in turn sank her blade nearly to the hilt into the dragon's shoulder, and used the blade as an anchor to remain fixed in place.
In response to the blade being sunk into it's flesh the dragon roared in agony and turned into a steep dive, then after descending at a startling speed for some distance the dragon flared it's wings out to slow it's decent, then twisted into a half barrel turn trying to throw Issildia, but it's attempts were met with another searing pain as Issildia sank one of her scimitars into the dragon's flesh to give her a second anchor in which to aid her in remaining on it's back. As soon as the creature was forced to level off Issildia drew both of the blades out and darted over to the dragon's right wing and in a subtle movement tore her blade Sumar across the bulking muscles that helped keep the creature aloft. Muscle sinew along with the major tendons in the right wing were sliced in half causing the wing to crumple slightly in reaction to the loss of stability and movement.
Suddenly the dragon's level flight changed course, turning towards the quickly nearing ground.
Issildia knew that her celtarie abilities would be greatly hindered by the binding powers of the Aldrene, not to mention that if she attempted to phase to the ground it would do nothing to reduce the momentum that had been gained, she would either be killed our wounded if she even attempted such an action.
So Issildia would have to be content to see if the dragon's instincts of self-preservation would take over and aid it in slowing it's decent.
The ground continued to rush towards them as the dragon flared out it's wings to slow itself before impact, it's mangled right wing was nearly useless in this but it managed to create a slight amount of drag as the impact commenced.
As they landed Issildia leapt off the creature's back and landed some distance away. She had remained mostly unscathed, though she had won a few scratches and bruises to add to her collection from the landing. Issildia scrambled to her feet as the seemingly crumpled form of the dragon flinched and the beast struggled to gain its feet. It managed to do so, which surprised Issildia greatly.
The ebony beast looked at her with venom as it began stalk from where it had fallen with a slightly limping walk. While it's left wing was folded neatly at it's side the one that Issildia had wounded was hanging limp at it's side, the wingtip actually dragging along the ground as it walked.
Finally the dragon came to a stop some distance in front of Issildia, tendrils of smoke idly rising out of it's nostrils. A deep growl came into being deep in the creature's throat as it opened it's gaping jaws and lunged forward at it's prey.
(NSB you didn't exactly pick the best time to do something like that, we're a bit preoccupied ^_^; )
"I will at least have a head on my shoulders Adenia, beshrew my head as my mind means nothing to my strength. As you work under Luin, I will bear no remorse in killing you, but this time you will not come back; I will make sure."
Khastur came at Adenia, swinging his sword down the horizon line and holding his right arm up to block anything.
Adenia reacted in due course, lunging forward and catching his blade with her steel clawed gauntlet then quickly following up with simple point thrust move with her new ivory blade that darted in towards her opponent's abdomen.
"You will have to kill me first...and I tell you now, that such action will be much more difficult than before." she said, the brash edge of a threat laced into her words.
"Killing you last time was a breeze, how difficult can it really be now?"
Khastur caught Adenia's blade with his right that he had put up, and since her gauntlet was on his sword she was snared, Khastur pulled a lateral and threw Adenia over his shoulder, his bounding strength sending her crashing into the sand a dozen feet away.
As Adenia hit the sand there was a crack of bone as her neck was twisted by the impact. Normally such a wound have killed or incapacitated a person. But Adenia slowly came to her feet, her back to Khastur as the gruesome sound of bones realigning was heard. Slowly but surely her neck realigned, the bones and vertebra resuming their normal positions. She slowly turned to face her opponent. She herself seemed rather stunned by her recovery, but this expression of wonderment quickly turned into one of glee as she locked her gaze with Khastur's own. "Oh I think that it shall be rather difficult to defeat me this time..." she said musingly.
Adenia's expression then turned serious as she idly crossed the distance between them. Then when only a short distance stood between them Adenia darted forward and brought her blade down heavily from above. The direction and angle of the blade inferred that it's target was the area where the shoulder blade and neck met, where numerous veins and nerve fibers were located. It was a predictable move, but this fact was outweighed by the possible damage that it could inflict.
Khastur looked at Adenia's limp form as she rose from the sand slightly baffled, going a tinge queasy at the sight of her reforming flesh and bone. "Not as powerful as Luin, and since I intend to kill him, I'll be getting past you..." Khastur stood steadfast as she approached, and as her blade came crashing down he sidestepped and swung his sword with both hands hard at her blade, to try to knock it out of her grasp.
The strength behind any two handed sword swing was one to contend with and Adenia, even in her seemingly un-dead form felt the force behind the blow. Though as the fingers in her right hand were broken at odd angles she did not release her blade, for no longer could she feel pain. It was an odd sensation to sense the force behind something and not have any sort of after effects present.
She stumbled back at his attack, and waited a moment as her hand seemed to heal itself in the fashion that her neck had. Adenia then circled around to the left, suddenly whipping her blade into a low clockwise circle to gain momentum before swinging it around in a second vertical revolution to slice out in an upwards fashion at Khastur's torso.
"Why do you fight when you know that I can not die?" she asked. Though her voice held a melancholic tone to it, almost as though she did not favor this new immortal existence.
Khastur leapt to the side and lost his footing slightly, the blade had caught him a bit, making a dent in his breastplate. "Because of what depends on me defeating you. I have a few motives still even Luin couldn't guess."
Khastur put up a hand and let out a sharp blast of magic, he had tried breaking, and now he'd try disentegrating.
Adenia's eyes flared slightly as the attack came at her. She was no mage in any form or fashion, her talents were in completely based in the way of the blade and the art of commanding her reptilian pets.
Adenia dodged to the left to avoid the attack, though she was clipped on the shoulder by the magic. Adenia instantly swept to her feet expecting the wound to heal instantly but her hand when to her shoulder where her leather armor had been turned ashen and the flesh beneath it burned with pain. Adenia grimaced as she realized that she was not as immune to pain as the had been to the physical attacks. She managed to regain her composure and glare back at Khastur. "You shall pay for that." she hissed as she lunged forward, lashing out at an angle with her ivory blade, then sweeping up at a perpendicular angle with her clawed gauntlet at his chest.
