hello everyone! *looks around room* where did everybody go? Oh well... *sits in big pouffy chair and turns on PFR on the stereo* hmm... I guess I'm just talk to myself for a bit...
I just got back last night from visiting my cousin, which was really nice. I was busy helping clean the house most of the time I was there, and I met a gal about my age who really helped me, since a month ago she went through the same thing I just did. Today I'll be leaving again, this time for the weekend, since I'll be going down to my other cousins house. They have this big Gala proformance thing (singing and dancing and such). My oldest cousin (in this family group) has been doing this for about 6 years now (I think) while the next oldest has for about 2 or three years, and the youngest is starting this year (yay!!!) It's going to be kinda hard for me, since a lot of faimly members like coming, and I haven't really seen anyone since the engagment was called off.
*looks around and spots food table* I'm hungry... *gets up and serves herself some meatloaf and fruit salad, then goes back to her chair*
So, what is everyone else doing this weekend? *looks around expectantly*

Well, I know there will be sleep involved in my weekend. After that, I will probably head down to the DTD frat, and hang out with those guys, there all pretty cool. I may end up going to the meditation house, and get myself a little inebriated, or I may hang around the dorm and get myself inebriated. Then on saturday, during the day, I will do some homework since there is nothing else to do, and I have tons of it. Then that night, I'll probably do one of the above three (DTD, dorms, meditation house) or go out to one of the parties on the off-campus houses. Then on Sunday, more work. Which reminds me, I have to read the whole court document of the Baby M case for Sunday afternoon, crap.
So, other than working during the day, I have no idea what I'll be doing in the night.

court document? That sounds interesting... though I'm not sure I could keep my sanity readng those... What are you going to school for?

What are you going to school for? *sets down empty plate on small table next to her* Right now, I am planning on majoring in Philosophy with a minor in either Math, Psych, Bio, Physics, or French. I also, right now, am planning on law school, so, with some luck, in about 7-8 yrs, I'll be a lawyer of some sort. However, this is very much subject to change. I do however know one thing for certain, if I do not major in Philosophy, I will definitely minor in it. Are you at college, and if so, what for?

I'm actually not in school right now. I graduated from HS a couple years ago, and have been mostly working since then. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, and didn't have money to waste, so I've waited on the whole school thing. I might try a tech school sometime soon. I know I'm intersted in movie making. I love watching the specials on the making of movies and such (like the appendixes for LOTR). I actually want to someday be a housewife and homeschooling mom. That's the hardest thing I can think of doing, and the most rewarding. Until then, why not learn whatever I can? I really want to learn langauges as well. At least Japanese and Latin, if not others.
Philosophy is an interesting subject. I hope you want to be a good honest lawyer. You don't seem like the kind of person to be a run-of-the-mill selfish type lawyer (no offence meant...)

Stora Philosophy is an interesting subject. I hope you want to be a good honest lawyer. You don't seem like the kind of person to be a run-of-the-mill selfish type lawyer (no offence meant...) Yes philosophy is an interesting subject to say the least, I am absolutely fascinated with it. And thanks for the compliment. Though, an honest lawyer, seems a bit oxymoronic, comsidering the way they are portrayed in American society. Though, keeping my morals may be tough, if I were to be a criminal lawyer; which is exactly why I will probably refrain from that area; I could never try to help a person get off their sentence for something like a rape crime (which in my view is probably the most heinous crime). Also, keeping in mind that I have to provide the best for my client, well...

As long as you are an honest lawyer (oxymoron, but hey, it's out ther somewhere) you can still be a good one, it's just harder

I might just look you up You most likely will need a lawyer, as there are so many different kinds, like tax attorney's, real estate, criminal, patent, etc. I'm thinking maybe a little criminal, but only on the side of the prosecutor, as well as, real estate, and other civil cases (e.g. suing). So, if you plan on owning property, you may want a real estate lawyer to look over any contracts you are about to sign.

Well, thus far, for tonight, my plans have been, getting inebriated around the dorm, and watching movies. I watched part of the crow, and dumb and dumberer, and now I am getting ready to watch Boondock Saints, one of my most favoritist movies ever.
Yes, I make up my own words even when I am sober, and favoritist is a sober word.
