Mekania yeah XD I don't get much from gaia commissions. Real money commissions all teh waaaay~ Real money? What's that? Heh heh. In all seriousness, I try to do a real money commission at least once every 6 months, though now since we're a one income family now, I don't know if I'll have that luxury. I did take a few commissions around Christmas so I could have the money to commission Ochrejelly for that gorgeous picture he did for me. It was like a round-about art trade! I drew so I could have something drawn. I just wish I were faster at creating!

On the other hand...
harhar, art trade, baybeh, that's how I roll. My real money commissions go towards funding things I need.
That is, college and resulting scholarship applications. :/

I've done like 5 RL comissions but never bought any...except shipping fees for real media art.
I'm so filthy rich at gaia but poor IRL. rofl
I am at light's waitinglist for a RL comish though. I can't resist his art. heart His auction ends today but it's allready over a million in gold. O.o
What's the most you guys have payed for a picture? gold/money
I can't remember. O.o Maybe it's zephy's groupshot or maybe Kajo's pic cost more. Hmmm... confused

I've paid about $70 or so for a real money commission and then like, $15 for the western union fees.
On gaia...no more than about 80k XD

The most I have payed in real money for a single picture would have to be the Crimson Shade group picture from Kiriko (it was like 6 people + background. I can't remember exactly how much it came to)
On Gaia Online, the most I've payed out would have previously been like 30k, but now it's up at about 3200k, as that was the final bid in Mecromace's auction.

Mreh, I'm a bloody poor college student and all funds I get are going towards Otakon and supplies for classes, so I can't go the irl route, and likely won't be able to for a long time - which won't be amounted to much here because I'm leaving Gaia within the next few months.
That said... does anyone know any good artists who work well with dark/gothy/sexy/vampire OCs that is on Gaia?

I haven't bought any RL commissions, since all my free money is going to a) funding the college and scholarship process or b) funding the get-Woe-a-decent-digital-camera drive so she can use it for her work.
On Gaia... if you count contests, then I gave out a Sept 03 letter when it was worth about 2 million.
I don't surpass 150k in the R/C, realy. I'm planning on making this number grow.

I plea the fifth on how much I've spent on a single RL commission sweatdrop But I've spent a lot all together (and a lot on a few certain pieces... two of the very high-dollar ones I'm stil waiting on stressed )
On Gaia, it wold be when the Sept's were worth 10 mil, and my last big art contest with Kamiki :3
*coughs* just started up this year's art contest, too - going the pure gold route after selling a few letters. WE'll see how it goes smile

I've never paid real money fro art...mostly I just don't really know how do go about doing it. Um...on gaia I think the most I paid for art was 40/45k for the art pilot did for me.
