Yuta laughed as his eyes went to Nina, who had gotten bored with the conversation and was now looking at the spells on her pink computer, "Good luck."

Jack followed Yuta's gaze, and smiled a little as his eyes came to Nina. "Yeah, I'll probably need all the luck I can get..." he thought. "But I don't want her to get mad at me for doing bad things, so the only solution is to make her evil, too."

L shot a glare at Vegito.
"The same goes for you. Harm Jack Spicer again, physically or mentally, and you'll have to answer to me. Is that understood?"
His voice was different; no longer did it carry the melancholy tone, but instead possessed a relentless power. Perhaps his powers had changed his very way of dealing with opposition.

He looked back down at the ground.
"Just keep pestering Mr. Spicer over there and you'll find out soon enough."
