The boss stopped and blinked. "Well I like mango and pineapple and the orignial mojito." Looking around them she whistled to those near them and motioned to the drinks made up. "Here are some drinks on me." She said with a smile as people swarmed them. "Barky make sure everyone gets one drink on the house." She said and kissed Rave's cheek. "Is the mango to your liking?"
The demon smiled slightly to himself as he entered his car and drove away to the mall in the city. It was a good mall and it did have the stores that Kalore liked. Hopefully he didn't have a hard time doing this shopping because him and the mall was like water and vineger. They just don't mixed.
Just like the house windows and doors with the smell of smoke coming from the kitchen. The kitchen was in flames as soon as Monty drove off and it was quick work too. Especially when said demon was there walking into the living room with the flames engulfing everything there and up the stairs. The flames licked over his body as well as everything in it's path as the demon was opening the door to the master bedroom where Kalore layed.
The flames spread from his body to surround the elf, the smoke becoming thicker each second. Still the demon didn't move from his spot as he just stared at the elf. Watching and waiting for the reaction. Needing to see the hysterical reaction, to see how weak such a being is.

Rave gave a bit of a nod to the woman, kissing her cheek back, “I do like this, actually.” He smiled some at her, watching as the people swarmed the drinks. “That’s a good idea, actually, having everyone have a drink on the house…” It was something that would up loyalty, but he didn’t think that Gambler did that for that reason as much as the idea of just having them have it to have it; being nice. Sighing some, he glanced at the dance floor, sipping at the drink before he almost ended up spitting it out. Just a bit in front of them was a woman with long brown hair, dancing slowly with a blonde man, her outfit eye catching and perfect. The body, though, was one that he knew very, very well. Isabelle…
The first thing that Kalore noticed was the sound, though. Eyes snapping open as he heard it, his body shot up before the flames could get to the master bedroom. How had a fire started? He knew Monty wouldn’t have done something like this to him, wouldn’t have kept something on that could have started this, so what was going on? Beginning to get up off the bed, quickly, Kalore was soon surrounded by the fire as the instinct of panic overcame him for just a moment. Quickly ridding himself of it, however, he noticed that the fire wasn’t something natural. It was moving but then still, not getting anywhere near him after his way was blocked.
Hissing, he took a step back, his face lit up and body shown more; still beautiful even with the weight that he had lost. “What the hell is this?!” Phone in hand, he was dialing the number that Monty told him, not looking down as he was looking up at the man in the doorway. Who was this?! Weaponless, there wasn’t anything that the man could do, but he was trained, and trained damn well. Eyes narrowing, he tried to find a way that he could move out of there, but he didn’t go into hysterics. Kalore was done with those for a while now.

Lessening the flames from his body showed the face of Monty, watching him with glowing red eyes that only happened when the demon was well...being a demon. Furrowing his brows the flames increased around the elf a bit more, inching towards him. "Put the phone down, Kalore. It won't work in this heat." He flames jumped toward the elf to touch his hands, to get to the phone.
More smoke was coming from the doorway to fill up the room. "I'll tell you what this is." The voice of monty deep with venom. "I'm sick to death of you. The sight of something so pathetic and weak." This Monty wanted to scare the wits out of Kalore and make him suffer a bit with the smoke and flames before he hurt him. It would be a nice slow suffering before the elf begged him to end it. Then again Eri did want his elf back, even if he was ruffed up a bit.
Gambler blinked and frowned some, touching Rave's cheek. "Are you alright? It wasn't good." Frowning more, she looked at the bartender. "Make a better one Barky. I think a bit less of the alcohol and more mango." She said, taking the drink from the elf's hand, unaware that his attention was taken away from her to someone else.

The man was confused as he continued to watch the woman in front of him, barely noticing the woman taking away his drink before he heard her talking to Barky. Eyes widening some, rave looked over, shaking his head as he touched her hand, “Don’t… Don’t worry, Gambler. I’m… I’m fine. I did like it, but alcohol just isn’t my thing.” But he kept looking away, as if searching for someone and there she was. A woman that was now moving to the bar, standing beside them as she spoke to Barky in a voice like silk, innocent and soothing, enchanting, “Hey, could I get a daiquiri? Strawberry, please.”
Phone slowly dropping out of his hand, Kalore was rendered speechless for a moment as he watched the man in front of him. “No…” It couldn’t be Monty. The man had just left him, he had heard him drive off! The elf was out of it, yes, but he knew that his hearing was still up to par! There was no way that Monty could have gotten in and out of this house without him hearing something! Added to that… the demon wouldn’t hurt him like this… no, he couldn’t have. Eyes watering from the smoke, or so he told himself, Kalore had an arm up to his nose, trying to block out the smoke as he began to cough, shaking his head again.
“No… not… not Monty…” Glaring at the man, he was forced to take a step forward as the fire got closer to him. He reached down for the phone again, wanting to call the number that Monty had given him, just to make sure… just to make sure that this wasn’t the man that had saved him, helped him, cared for him. Surely not! Shaking his head again and again, Kalore’s body was already weak and the smoke and shock wasn’t doing anything to help him. “Eri… Eri’s doing…” Muttering that to himself, his eyes were daring quickly around. Even if this was Monty, his eyes were red and Kalore needed a weapon. He wasn’t strong enough at the moment to do another fight with the demon. It just couldn’t happen.

Monty stepped forward and slapped Kalore back away from the phone and growled at him. "Your a damn fool if you don't understand what's going on. Your even more a fool to question me in everything I say or do. Namely my confrontation with the elf. How dare you question what is between us?" He slapped the elf again. "You disgusting druggie. Worthless is what you are. You can't even help yourself when I'm doing other things to ensure for you." He snarled, the heat becoming worse and the smoke thicker. "I hate you." They say that actions speak louder than words but words of that sort cut deeper than any blade.
The boss shook her head. "No Rave. It's fine. I'll make you another one with more fruit and less liquor. I'll order one with a less alcohol percentage. Like one percent." It was a bad thing that Gambler wasn't understanding that Rave was distracted and someone from his past was right there next to them while her mind was on pleasing the elf. "After this we can go dancing if you want." She said with a big smile at him that was...slowly dying as she noted his expression. What was wrong with him?

Shaking his head again, rave was completely distracted before he finally looked at Gambler, a small smile on his features as he forced himself to look at her. The woman beside them couldn’t be Isabelle… it just wasn’t possible! But something that could happen was… really, he didn’t know. “I… I would like that.” Before they could do anything, though, the woman looked over and those spring green eyes were turned to them, focusing on Rave as her eyes widened. “R-Rave?” The voice was delicate, beautiful, as she took a step closer to her. “Rave… Is that… Is that really you?” Dear Goddess, it really was Isabelle. “Isa…. Isabelle?”
With the first hit, Kalore was in shock. Monty hadn’t actually hit him like this since the first time that they had been trapped in the elevator together; since then, he may have hit him a small bit, a slap here and there of near possession, but never like this. To feel it again brought him back to the heat of the elevator, to who they were before they developed feelings for one another. Latching onto that, he dropped down before he could be hit again, his body going onto autopilot as his leg swung around and he brought Monty down.
“Don’t hit me.”
Eyes narrowing, the man was beginning to move with the speed that only he had; adrenaline working with him well as he had the man on the ground, knees trapping him and his hands back on his throat. “You’re not Monty…. You can’t be.” He wouldn’t hit the elf. He might scare him, might break his heart again and again, but he wouldn’t use fire against him; a fear that all elves had. He wouldn’t slap him across the face again and again, telling him words that barely even made sense. No, Monty wouldn’t do those things. This wasn’t something that Eri could do, though, so… What the hell was this? “Who are you?”

Everything inside Gambler froze, even the slowly dying smile just stayed frozen as that name was spoken. It now clicked in Gambler's head that Rave had been distracted and that Isabelle had a face. Plus a physical body that happened to have spoken from behind her while she was being an idiot in talking about drinks. The woman stopped breathing as she turned around slowly to look at Isabelle, cringing inwardly at the sight of the most beautiful woman she had ever seen before.
Of course the woman was an elf so why was it surprising to see this one so beautiful? They all were but this woman...She had something the shone inside her. Something pure and sweet, delicate. The complete opposite of her. Yet what didn't freeze inside the woman was her doubt that was unleashed inside. Her mind reeled at the sight of this woman, wanting to pretend she didn't doubt Rave but...This was all too sudden and suspicious to her. Turning her head slightly, Gambler spoke to Rave in a calm voice that was really opposite of what she was feeling inside. "Rave? Who is this?"
Monty snarled and bucked at Kalore. Sling shooting up, he reached for the elf's hair and pulled hair, pulling some out as he was pushing the elf towards the flames that were consuming the bed and walls. "You know who I am elf. Don't play coy with me if you can't understand what I'm telling you. You couldn't understand a few months ago and you can't understand it now. Pathetic." He snarled and kicked Kalore's legs from under him to let the flames and smoke consume him more.

Kalore stayed in the place of him that was trained. He hadn’t had to fight in smoke before so this was beginning to wear on him as he swayed, suppressing any form of sound as the flames got closer and he was feeling more pain. No, this wasn’t Monty… but if it was then he would sadly have to think of himself more than he would anyone else. Eyes narrowing, Kalore wasted no more breath as he continued to fight the other, simply shaking his head. To waste precious air talking wasn’t something that he could do but he was now simply looking for a way out. Fighting a demon in fire just wasn’t intelligent.
Over the demon in front of him, he saw the way out. Kalore pounced on Monty, bringing him down and then using him as a spring board to get the hell out of there. With a flip, he landed over the fire, ending up in the hall and sprinting. The world around him was beginning to fade as the smoke was getting to him but he didn’t care. He just needed to get outside where he would be in his own element. Fight or flight was in full swing in the man and he simply rode the adrenaline and followed it. There was nothing more that he could do.
For a moment he didn’t know what to do, slowly shaking his head, “No…” No, this couldn’t be her. Isabelle had been killed; there had been a funeral, there had been blood, so much blood… This couldn’t be her. Standing up, he was looking at the woman that was inches taller than Gambler so closer to his own height, but even then there was something that was just off. The moment he did so, however, Isabelle flung herself to the man, breaking down in a fit of tears as she held him close. “I-I thought that you left me!” He looked confused, looking over at Gambler as he spoke, “This… This is Isabelle… the… the fiancée that I told you about…” The one that had died; or so he had thought. “I… I don’t understand…”

The demon snarled, going after the elf and jumping from behind him to tackle him down. He used his mind to keep all the doors and pulled Kalore's hair back harder. Pressing his lips against his ear, the thing smiled slowly. "Your not as stupid as I thought elf. However, you must be very naive to not notice how the real demon left you alone without a backward glance at you. Especially when he planned all this." Taking a moist cloth from his back pocket her placed it over his mouth and noise to knock him out with chemical that once inhaled would knock out their victims cold for a few hours.
It felt as if a knife pierced Gambler's heart. Taking in a deep breath, the woman closed her eyes to hide what was starting to become pain and a coldness that had nothing to do with the AC in the club, but a growning void in her chest. Opening them slowly she exhaled and turned around to look at Rave with a piercing look. "Here is what I understand. You are nothing but a two timing, lying son of a b*tch who did nothing more than to humilate me in front of my peers and showed me that you are just like every other man in this damned world."
Taking a step back she her gaze became sharper. "I guess you just wanted some sympathy when really you were toying with me yes? Staying here was just for temporary until you got back to work in Ellwood. Hold and behold your supposedly dead fiancee happens to be alive." The boss of area 6 was composed. Very composed that the majority of the people didn't know that their very leader was there being humiliated in the worst possible way that has happened countless times.
"I've given everything I had to offer to you, elf. I gave you all of it and not once have I asked you to give anything in return because I know it was a work in progess in you opening up to me." The woman looked at Isabelle then back up at Rave. "Nevermind it." Lifting her head up slightly she gave the elf no time to respond as the adrenaline in her was running high, spurring her to do this quickly and efficently as if she was destroying her enemies.
"You are no longer part of my group. You are forbidden to come into my city and all my allies territory without proper permission from Kyoshi as he is my appointed ambassador and representative of this city and all it's people. If I hear so much as a disrespective flick of your eyelash in his direction I will hurt you. If you come here without me knowing it because you are a danger to my lands and my rule I will have you shot and killed. Make no underestimation of my guards here elf. You think Lucien was bad, try pissing off these people." Her voice was sharp like knives and cold as ice.
"I suggest you do something for Kalore and Eldin's reputation since they have been under your command. They are free to come and go as they please however I doubt there is anything for them to keep them here being that your not accustomed to the tea here." Gambler gave one look at Rave and Isabelle, clenching her jaw tightly to hold back the overwhelming wave of emotions threatening to break her down here in front of everyone. No, she couldn't do it. It would be her undoing if she was weak in front of those that served her. Especially in front of these elves.
Squaring her shoulders she walked past them in a clipped gate. "You have one hour to leave my city elf. It's the least I can do for giving me a good f*ck every once in a while." She growled with a cold look over her shoulder and left. Once she was out she gave her bouncers orders to make sure that the elves left the club and to sent for those to make sure they left the city. Taking a deep breath the woman left, taking the alleyways to bring that distance between them before she lost it.
Far away, laughter rang in supreme mirth at the show. Sin watched from the second floor of the club then moved quickly to follow the angel, all while invisible, to see the emotions fighting in the woman. It was highly amusing to see how quick she was to snap rather than allow the male explain himself. It was hilarious that she looked every bit like a Queen going to be beheaded which could happen once he got her in the palm of his hands.
Yet Sin couldn't do anything just now. He wanted to wait and see if she would crack so that he can break her. First he had to see to breaking the demon with the very same pathetic emotions that plagued Gambler. He wonder what more surprises could happen that pleased him? Hopefully it benefited himself and his associtate Eri since there was definiately someone he could rely on. Pity he didn't know him earlier because none of this would have to happen. Oh well, that was then and this is now.

Struggling more, Kalore kicked and thrashed, doing everything in his power to get out of the demon’s hold but nothing could be done. Eyes widening some, he knew that this wasn’t the real Monty, but saying anything now was just beyond him as he felt the noise vibrating through his ear, causing him to flinch in pain. His struggles were silenced as he soon fell limp against the man, the phone now completely gone from his hand, but he had been able to press ‘send’ on the device. He didn’t think of it, however, as the replica now had the elf and he couldn’t do a damn thing about it.
Heart stopping, Rave’s body felt numb as he listened to the woman that he loved; truly loved. How could she say this to him? Didn’t she see the surprise on his features? “Gambler… Please…” Reaching out to the woman, he tried to get a hold of her but she was too fast and the woman on him wouldn’t let him go. Shaking his head again, he struggled more against Isabelle, “Who are you!?” Pushing her away, Rave took a step back, his eyes wide and the man not knowing what it was that he could do. His composure was gone and panic was beginning to overcome him. This wasn’t Isabelle… it couldn’t be! Rave had felt the pain, had watched those at the funeral cry for the woman in front of him… How could this be her?
Isabelle reached out, her eyes widening as well, “R-Rave… I know that it’s been years… but please, don’t leave me again.” She took a step but each step that she took caused the man to take another one away from her. No, this wasn’t the woman that he had loved before… surely not. Shaking his head again, Rave was watching her with what could only be disbelief and… fear. This wasn’t Isabelle. Now that he wasn’t in so much shock, he was beginning to really look at her. The walk wasn’t right, how she held herself was damn close but… it was off. Something about her was off.
“Leave me alone, Isabelle… Please just… right now, leave me alone.” He didn’t care how he looked, he didn’t care for the composure that he was supposed to always have, but within moments the elf was sprinting fast to catch up to Gambler. He had to talk to her, he had to find something, had to tell her that he didn’t know what all of this was. Maybe that wouldn’t work, but he couldn’t just let himself walk out of the city with his head down and his tail between his legs. That wasn’t Rave and he would never forgive himself.
Rave loved Gambler more than he loved his own life. If she shot him… then so be it. That would be the price that he paid for the love that he had for the woman.
“Gambler!” Running fast and hard, he passed by the guards, easily evading them with the agility of only an elf. She had werelions, yes, but he was fast and he never relied completely on his shadows. In his shock and surprise, the man hadn’t thought to figure out to use his shadows to catch up with the woman; then again, maybe that was for the best seeing as Gambler was livid with him and cutting her off would only piss the woman off even more than she had been before. “Wait!” He sped up, nowhere near as fast as Kalore was, but Rave was still an elf and he was damn hard to catch if he wanted to be.

As Kalore's body became limp, the demon let the fire get out of hand and left through the back door and into the thick trees cradling the elf. Sin showed himself a half a mile away to be handed the man behind all of this. Just as he cradled the pretty blond elf, another pretty blonde elf that looks exactly, or almost, like Kalore walked past them.
Smiling he watched as the elf closed the door and locked it. It went to where the phone was dropped and caught on fire. It would be the very thing Monty is that destroyed his house and his elf and it was going to be good to watch the demon be in agony.
It was then that Monty did receive that much needed call too late. Frowning some he tried to make out what was going on in the other end of metal object and felt his blood froze with ice as he recognized the sound of flames. Dropping the clothes he had gathered in one store he ran out of there and the mall like a bat out of hell.
Forgetting about his car, the demon was well....A demon as he sprinted out of the parking lot through all the short cuts he could think of at the moment to get to his house only to gasp in surprise. He freaking house was on fire! With Kalore still inside! Snarling as the neighborhood was around in shock and the firefighters beginning to get their hoes ready, he jumped over the cars there and ran, dodging the firefighters who tried to stop him and kicked the door down.
The flames licked out of the opened door which the demon bowed his head to not be burned in the face by this wild fire happening. Entering he took only a few steps to stare down in horror at what he thought was Kalore, clasping the phone that now melted in his hand. Reaching down he picked up the starting to charred elf and rushed out.
Going to his knees, he checked for pulse. He prayed there was a pulse. He didn't care if the elf was forever scarred as long as he was alive. Yet....There was no pulse. None. Not whimper, no breathing, no movement at all. Just a charred body of his elf, some of the blonde hair still untouched from the flames, the smell of burnt flesh and hair strong in his nose as this image of the elf he was opening up to again, the one he needed to make up for everything wrong he had done to him, was burned into his memory. The firefighters started to spray the house down with water, the medics came to pull him from the dead Kalore.
Monty was stiff as he didn't want to let him go but....Kalore was gone and it was all his fault he didn't bring him with him like he should. Rather than baby the elf and make him feel helpless he doomed the elf. Never again could he be with anyone else because if he was going to be honest with himself, he did like the elf more than he let on and it was too late for that to be known.
Roaring his agony he slammed his fists into the ground. The sound being heard by a leaving Sin who smiled happily. "Poor elf. Doomed to have been with a man that was more dangerous to himself than to anyone else. Your better off with the pink haired man, little one." He cooed and walked towards Harl, having covered Kalore with his coat.
Gambler ignored her name being called. She ignored everything around her except for the inceasing pain in her chest. It was where he heart was supposed to be now whatever was left was shattered to pieces. Picking up her pace, the woman couldn't make it to her home without being caught by the elf she wanted to be way from right now.
"If you don't leave me alone elf, I'll have you killed without a single thought." Which only inceased the pain in her heart as she turned a left to run into the slums of her city. There people would hide her from the elf so she can go to her safe haven that was her office.

“Then do it!” Catching up to her, Rave reached out, his hand circling around her arm to hold her still, “Gambler, please!” His eyes were pleading with the woman and it didn’t have the look of someone that wanted to keep their bed partner, but someone that truly loved another and refused to watch them leave them like this. Rave shook his head again but he didn’t go any closer to her as he was down on a single knee; the pose something that he had landed on without thinking, just wanting to be able to get to her and avoid a hit if it came in his direction.
Rave shook his head again, his icy blue eyes bright with a need that was nearly primal. He didn’t want to lose the woman he loved, especially to something like this. “Gambler, she was dead, I know that. I saw the blood, I saw the home, I saw the memorial to her. There… There just isn’t…” There wasn’t a way that this was possible! He continued to watch her as he began to stand up. He knew not to draw her near him as she was this upset, but he also knew that she had every right to be upset with him; infuriated. He had already said the name of the woman and now here she was? He didn’t understand what was going on, but Rave was soldier enough to understand that this wasn’t normal. It couldn’t be. People didn’t come back from the dead!

Gambler snarled at Rave and threw punches at him to get away. Heavnes him touching her angered her more. "Leave me alone! I will not hear you speak anymore lies! Begone from my lands hellion!" She snapped, looking away as she clawed at the elf's hand, not wanting to be touched by someone who lied to her face. Humliated her in some many ways. Making her look like a fool for falling in love with someone who was going to break her heart in the end. "I don't want you anymore, just go!"
Entering Eri's club, the angel walked up the same stairs that would lead him to the very same office that the elf would have to be. Knocking on the door he waited to be called to pass. It would have been very rude to just walk in after all and Sin wasn't a rude person.

Leaning back, Eri’s eyes were closed as he concentrated on the scene in front of him. Watching Rave fall to his knees like some fool… it was all to great. He heard the door being knocked on, sniffed the air and nodded a bit, “Come in.” His eyes still didn’t open as he was now watching as he vessel took another step forward, but remained out of sight. Isabelle was already back in his club, being used in the back as a dancer for the night. He didn’t think that he would keep her there but then again, why not use what it was that was given to him? Eri didn’t want to waste the time and energy on a puppet, however, but for the night that’s where she would be. She would be used again, but for now… now he would wait and be patient. That was for the best, after all.
He took the hits as he grit his teeth, the man not used to being attacked like this, “Gambler!” Taking a step forward, his hands circled both her wrists as he tried to get her to listen to him. “I love you, Gambler! I don’t know how Isabelle is here, but even if it is her, I still love you!” He loosened his hold just enough for her to get out. His heart was ripped, shredded, and now ruined as he watched the woman that he loved push him away, hate him. To see something like this… it wasn’t a thing that he had fathomed in the slightest. “Gambler… please…. I promised to be here for you, to help you, to love you, to be with you for as long as the Goddess would permit me to be. Please, don’t push me away like this. I’m pleading, just… just don’t do this.”

Gambler growled and pushed Rave away. "You should have thought of all that before you lied to my face, you idiot." Turning away she started to walk really fast. Her whole body was trembling and how she was capable of walking straight without stumbling was nothing short of a miracle.
The woman needed to be alone. She should have stayed alone. Looking around frantically, the woman turned to a alleyway sharply and ran to find someplace desolate like the void that was now consuming her. Finding a door that lead into a old, abandon warehouse she entered and slammed it shut hard. Going to her knees, her arms wrapped around her body as it was racked with her silent tears.
Entering the office, the man went to a chair and let Kalore sit down gently which was opposite of who this man was but he had not animosity with the blonde so why hurt him? That was Eri's job not his. His job was to break the demon so that he can have the powerful son of the devil locked up and powerless before he picked up his main target.
