You know you're doing something right when your roommate who has never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas walks in on you singing Jack's Lament and is simultaneously intrigued and terrified. To be fair, though, I'm sure it helped when I grabbed his face and freaked him out with one of the scarier parts.
EDIT: s**t, I kinda want to record this now. I'm kind of surprised that this doesn't sound too terrible, but I'm going to hate it when I listen to the recording.
