I had been in town all day getting a truck load of supplies, groceries, and things we needed. I grabbed carton of cigarettes and headed inside, I told the servant by the door to get some others and unload the truck then I headed to the dining room. When I got in there I sat at my spot and slid the carton towards Shadow, "Have Fun" I was pointing at the big box of cigarettes

Shadow looked to the carton and then up to Vickilyn. "You are a life saver." he said with a smile as he opened it up and removed a pack of cigs. ""You were away from quite a while you know. Must have bought a crap load."

"We were out of everything, except blood" I said with a smile as I sat and lit my cigar, "we needed all kinds of food, you drinker's liquor, and ammo, we can never have enough ammo." I saw him open up the cigarettes, "oh, and we needed those"

"Ah yes, I forgot you like to eat the food of mortals." he said as he pulled out a cig and lit it, taking a very long draw. "We will be needing alot of ammo for the battles to come. I am not a fan of your weapons but I do admit that they are effective." he said with a smile as he took another draw from his cig.

"We have demons, and werewolves, and I think at least one human here" I said taking a long drag from my cigar. "Plus it's good, you have to admit you liked those pancakes the day you had them" I smiled letting the smoke out from my mouth as I spoke

"I do keep forgetting that we have those others here. I barely see them so what else would you expect." he said as he flicked the ash from his cig into an ash tray. "I will admit that human food is ok but I prefer just to stick with the blood. It is much more revitalising than that human stuff."

"If you say so" I said as a servant approached, "just Pudding" I said as he began walking away "chocolate, and make that two." I smiled at Shadow, "this stuff will change your mind, you could use some sort of dessert to take you mind off whatever you're thinking about"

"I don't think any kind of food will take my mind off of what I am thinking about. You know me Vicki. It takes more than food to distract me from my problems and the war." he said as he finished his cig and put it out. "Speaking of problems, I have gained a much greater control over my transformation so do not hesitate to call for me to change if the situation requires it."

I smiled as both bowls of pudding were placed in front of me, "well that's good to hear, and I've been getting better control of this" I said as I picked up one of the bowls by just moving my hands in front of me, I placed it in front of Shadow, "There ya go, eat up" I said with a smile and puppy dog eyes, "at least try it"

Felicity came back down stairs with Justin this time in her arms and walked to the kitchen to get him a bottle. He had been rather fussy that night and she figured she'd feed him and see if the others were around as well.

"Your skills are impressive. It looks like eating Jaik has had its up side." he said with a smile as he looked up to his cousins severed head. He then looked down to the pudding that was infront of him. "Fine then, I will try it." he said as he made a face and ate a little of the pudding.

"Awww" I said with a sad face, "don't make faces.... it's good" I said as I took a bite of my own, "yep really good." I licked my spoon as I saw Felicity pass by and go into the kitchen, the baby probably needed a bottle or something. "I bet Felicity would like some, and so would Alexia and Justin so there" I said to him in a whiny tone as I stuck out my tongue

Shadow made another face at Vickilyn as a joke as he continued to eat. "Leave me along Vicki, I am an old b*****d that has only eaten the one thing over my long life and unlike you I was never hunam at one point. I am sure my kids will love the stuff and Felicity was always eatign this sort of stuff... from what I can remember. My mind is still alittle bit of a mess. Nothing is very clear."

Felicity walked into the room laughing "Haha I had a hard time trying to him to take one bite of pancakes. He wont try that he's too cool for human food." she said teasingly as she sat down and gave Justin his bottle.
