((To think I had an awesome plot arc planned. neutral ))
Waking up, Black let out a rather large yawn and got out of bed, putting on his usual set of clothing and strapping both swords to his belt before heading down. Unaware of what happened a few days ago, he left down into the Main Hall and greeted. "Good day, Katherine. What's up for today?"

Sarah woke up, again Black was no where in sight. "Do I really sleep that late?" She rolled out of bed lazily. When she dressed, she left her belt and coat in the room. These days, she felt the knife in her boot would be good enough. Almost jogging, she found her way to the Main Hall. She smiled brightly upon seeing people up and about.
"Why good morning to you!"

Katherine shook her head slightly finshing her plate up as a servant took it away. "Work and more work i am hopeing." She didn't tell him Alastor had attacked her again, she didn't want to. She didn't want to rethink any of that.

Looking behind himself, Black looked at Sarah a moment and when it finally registered in his tired mind, he embraced her in a big hug. "Good morning to you too!" With that, he let her go and looked back to Katherine. "Ah, I must have missed something the past few days cause really, I don't remember you being that thrilled about work."

"Its a lot better than.." Her purple eyes looked over to Sarah with a bright friendly smile to her. "Good morn, seems the two of you are getting on very well together." Better to talk about them.. better not to think right now the fear would take her from them if she thought to much.

"Is something wrong, Your Highness?" Sarah asked, concerned about Katherine. Something didn't seem right. But she shook that feeling off. That's all it was, a feeling.

"Everything is quite alright i assure you." She placed her hands under the table, she felt them shake slightly gripping them together to make it go away.

She slowly walked over and kneeled down beside Katherine. "If anything is wrong, you can talk to me about it." Sarah tried to smile.

Katherine noded some and smiled sweetly to her. "I will keep that to mind." That was something she couldn't do, couldn't ever do. The last thing she could do was get Black's woman involved in it. Her purple eyes slid up to him. "But I am just fine."

The bounty hunter bowed her head respectfully and went back to Black's side. 'I really hope she's telling the truth. I would feel guilty if something happened and I couldn't help.'

Katherine watched them with a smile changeing the subject back to them. Happy things something away from.. that. She closed her eyes for a moment blocking things out or away at least trying. Making the sick feeling commmand her. She opned her eyes then looking at both of them. "Other than me how are the two of you, should i be makeing Sarah a perment fixture here?" It was a light joke or her sad adtmit to lighten the mood.

Black only shook his head and looked to Katherine. "The least you can do is fill my fiancee out on the details. It's better then her having to discover it all by herself. And yes, she will be here permanently with me." He told her, then wrapping his arm around Sarah's shoulder.

Katherine's gaze looked down at the table. "He hasn't ever tried to harm someone unless they got in the way. If I told her any of that Black it would mean she was involved... Look what getting involved has done to everyone around me." Her purple eyes looked up to him they held a small plee in them.

Matachi's voice rang out then "Katherine, we are doing our jobs." He says a sad tone in his voice as he spoke lowly. He didn't walk over he moved to a small chair and sat down looking up at the ceiling sadness hitting his body.

"The only people that have gotten hurt were people who were stupid enough to try to match themselves against him. He hasn't touched anyone who hasn't attacked him." Black said, then looking over to Matachi, he nodded. "Lark and Sekain, well Lark was trying to protect Aiden, but still. As far as I know, Sekain is the only one who died to protect you. He did it all by himself. You can't kick yourself for it."
In the meanwhile, Alastor was still in his house, a wrap around his eyes soaked in blood. While he wouldn't quite need his sight for the moment, he had to think of his sacrifice. They had to be willing, but who? Gain the trust of some random schmo?
