Not nescessary
I completely disagree. I found it perfectly necessary.

I don't think the Dad is aware of it, even if he was I wouldn't know as he seems to have cut me out of his life and I want to brake his face and perform a butcher job castration right now... all rights have been revoked!

I am sick to death of defending him from you.
You constantly do him this dis-service and I am not tolerating it any more.
Oh, it's all your ******** pain. It's all your misery. He couldn't possibly understand, nobody could possibly understand.

He doesn't want anything to do with you because every time you go anywhere near him, barring that one munchkin game, you tear him apart. You guilt trip him, you
berate him, you speak down to him and he doesn't have to put up with it. He doesn't have to like you. He doesn't have to be your friend. He's been a hell of a lot more decent to you than you have to him. He doesn't have to be around you. He doesn't have to let you into his life.

How ******** dare you threaten him on a forum he is a member of?
How ******** dare you drag this forum into the twisted torrent that is "your life"?
You could have left the quoted piece out and I would have had no problem with it.
You want the world to share your pain. Fine. Let it share your pain.
You want the world to share your crazy hatred of a decent and good person? I draw the line there.

Also- it's one thing to do it where he is able to defend himself.

It's another thing to do it where he isn't. Amongst strangers and acquaintances alike.

I'm sorry for your misfortune.
I"m not really sure exactly WTF just happened, but mayhaps that is for the best.

I suggest all aggrieved parties, and all amused parties take it out here. If you already have a brute, post them, so we can get this all working and good.

For any I have offended, bring it. twisted

Sorry for your loss Scorplett.

This is quite heavy stuff, and 'prolly shouldn't be here. ninja

And so, on a lighter note, I'm going go formulate a reply for fiddlers thread!

I just realised, when I start building new thoughtforms, I tend to want them to be mythological creatures or entities. BUt I Don't want to do it the fluffy way, I want to do it the right way. I don't want to base my thoughtforms off of current fluffy representations. For example, I was thinking of summoning a thoughtform that would represent love and a little luck, and my mind went "what about a fariy"?

Seeing as how I know so little of the actual fairy faith, I haven't done such, because I don't want my thoughtforms to be the results of cultural mutation and misrepresentation.

Could be worse. I made a thought form yesterday in the shape and body of a seal of all things. sweatdrop

I don't know, I usually summon thought forms as spheres of energy, so yesterday was unusual when I went the animal route. confused

Before I was primarily the animal route. Now I've always had a fascination with mythological creatures, and as long as I properly research them, I can "grow closer" at least as far as one can with thoughtforms. Of course, I also don't want to take things that specifically belong to another culture.

Are angels or fae culture specific enough that usage of them in thought-form invocation would be improper?

Why not formulate thoughtforms with personal significance?

Like for me, a viable knowledge based thoughtform would be a book with words spilling out of it like water.

.....*whimper*....

My alma mater is "temporarily" dropping the Latin department and minor, and the Classics Club. But they claim they'll bring it back, along with Greek.

Which I totally doubt. They didn't ask Dr J back because she wanted to have a real classics department.

Okay, so I'm looking to make a moving out and leaving home playlist. Upbeat, songs about going out on my own, a little bittersweet is okay, but mostly hopeful--think "Wide Open Spaces" by the Dixie Chicks or "Born to Fly" by Sara Evans. Anyone have any suggestions? sweatdrop

It's a song by Kelly Clarkson..."Learn How to Fly" I think it's called? I can't remember for certain.

EDIT: Oh! The song is called "Break Away."
