Goku sighed. "You still try even knowing my power level is higher than yours. What courage. But also...what foolishness." Goku raised his hands. "Everybody, I think you should move from here." In about three minutes, there was a gaint ball of red energy about a fourth of size of the moon. In three more minutes the ball became half the size of the moon. "Spirit ball...Ka..meeee...haaa...meeee..." The force of the ball was so much that the ground began to crack. "Hurry up and move out the way!!!"

Jack sighed. "Well, I can't just leave it there..." He attempted to activate his heli-bot, but instead there was a whirring noise followed by a series of loud clunks, so Jack immediately stopped it. "Wh-what the...?" he muttered, wide-eyed. Quickly unfastening it, he took it off and looked at it, and his jaw dropped. He was surprised the thing was still staying together. Aparently, although Nina had been able to heal Jack completely, the same could not be said for his heli-bot. "Well... That could be a problem..." He wasn't even paying attention to the two fighting outside of the cave at all, any more.

Nina stood up, she knew how much he needed the monkey staff, "I can go get it for you," she offered, "Do you want to come too?" She took out her computer, "I can use search to find exactly where it is and I can easily teleport us there." She clicked away on her computer, sure it looked a little worse for wear but it worked perfectly.

"Alright, I'll come with," Jack replied, standing up. After staring at his broken heli-bot for a moment, he put it back on. It was useless right now, but he was certain he'd be able to fix it later, so he figured he should just keep it with him so he wouldn't lose it.

L watched as pretty much every left the cave. Jack and Nina were simply leaving and Vegito and Goku were outside having a fight. Perhaps it was time to stop the fight. After all, the whole point of hiding in the cave was to hide, not draw attention with massive blasts of spiritual energy. He stood up from his place on the rock and shuffled to the outside of the cave. He glanced at the two warriors engaged in battle.
"I think that it's about time you stopped this pointless battle. This Warlord you've spoken of will surely locate the group if such actions are to continue."

She took his hand and pressed 'enter' on her computer. They vanished in a shimmer ((Kinda like: http://www.mangafox.com/page/manga/read/706/chapter.23801/page.61/ )) before reappearing a few feet away from the monkey staff. Nina looked around and saw the tree, it still had a mark from the ax and her stomach immediately churned at the memory, tears gathered in the corner of her eyes. She looked away, quickly wiping away the tears, unable to bear it.

Jack gave Nina's hand a quick squeeze before going to get the Monkey Staff. He was determined not to look at anything else, but he caught a crimson glint out of the corner of his eye and turned his gaze before he had time to react. Jesus... Was all that really his blood? He felt like he was going to hurl... He grabbed the Monkey Staff and hurried back to Nina's side. "Let's get out of here..." he mumbled, not looking her in the eye, but wrapping his arms around her.

She barely realized her cheeks were damp as she managed to calm herself enough to teleport them back to the cave where she held onto Jack tighter, burying her head into his shoulder. She was shaking slightly as the memory replayed itself in her mind, despite trying to forget it, "Don't die again, please."

Jack quickly tucked the Monkey Staff in a back pocket, then held on to Nina tightly. "I won't... I promise..." he began, his voice breaking. "I won't break another promise to you..." Hard as he tried, Jack just couldn't block all the flashes of memories. The ax... The monster, it's face, it's rancid breath... The blood, how he could see his reflection in it... And Nina... Nina's horrified, tortured face... He didn't want to cry, but... he just couldn't stop himself... He could feel some tears start to escape...

Tears fell from Nina's eyes as she held onto him tightly, partly afraid that if she let go, he'd be gone. She knew that wasn't the case, but losing him once was painful enough and Nina didn't want to lose him again. She heard his promise before speaking through the slight tears, "Pinkie promise?" She looked at him, still holding onto him with one hand but her other hand raised, balled into a fist with her pinkie sticking out.

Jack laughed through his tears. Still smiling, he balled up one hand into a fist with his pinkie finger sticking out, and wrapped it around Nina's. "Pinkie promise," he replied, smiling.

She smiled before letting go of his pinkie and hugging him again, this time more gentle, "Nina's glad," she didn't even realize the irony of them being all peaceful while Vegito and Goku were duking it out.
