"Well, I think if we sit here to trying to anticipate what the Guards are going to anticipate, or anticipating what the Guards are going to anticipate that we'll anticipate, then we could be here for a very long time without going anywhere. I think that the guards would have gone on to the next village, they'll probably search there and either stay and wait or head to the next village thinking I'm already there. Personally I'm all for going east around the village north of us and then heading west to the peninsula villages. That way we skip less villages with Sages that we can battle. If and when we can ever get this whole misunderstanding sorted out I still want to compete in the tournament, and we'll need marks for that. What do you think?" Sai said to his companions.
Rolland and his crew brought the Tourbillon back to the village ports and got her secured to the docks. After everything had been unloaded and cleaned up for the day Rolland came up to James.
"Here ye' be, boy, yer' pay fer' the day." Rolland said and handed James a decent sized handful of coins. Not many were gold ((We'll use basic gold, silver, copper coins for our currency)), but it was more than enough to pay for a few more nights at the inn. "Like I said, boy, ue' wan' more work, be here again in the mornin', we set ou' with the risin' o' the sun." That said the man walked back over to, and onto, his ship.

Kin sat in silence, folded his arms and tried to wait it out until the now slightly larger traveling group was finally situated and choose a plan of action.
Kin whined to Vix, not really wanting to give any of his own input to the group.
Vix hissed back. Vix was almost the same as Kin, he is usually never around or seen in the open unless in battle.
Kin sighed. At least the two combatant I want to keep my eyes on the most are right here. Saves me a lot of trouble...

At this point Vilya shrugged. "I've said my bit on where we could go, but that still leaves how we travel. Skirting a village is no big deal if we're flying, but flying will be risky won't it? Unless...we go on an airship." She had brought the discussion back around to the sky docks. Tura sighed quietly. "There's also the matter of getting to the bottom of this. You were wrongly accused Sai, by the imperial guard. That's not something to take lightly. We could go through to the sea towns, but in the end I think our goal should be the capital. I dunno about you guys but I want to find out what's going on, and that's the last place I think the guard would look."
Tura stretched slowly, wandering over to a soft patch of grass and lying down.

"You might be right, the capitol would be the place to go to to get to the bottom of this, but I doubt it'll be that easy. I saw that Guard kill Brantalis' apprentice, but since he knows I saw he may be reporting that I was the one that killed him. If that word has spread to the capital already then that's the last place I want to go. Either way we're probably going to have to fight our way to the bottom of this, and I'll bet that the capitol has some of the most powerful mages and Sages in the world. And there's no guarantee that there are none of them on the same side as that Guard from last night.
Maybe you're right, Vilya, maybe the airdocks aren't such a bad idea either. But do the airships travel from village to village?" Sai asked.

Jania glanced around the dock town with casual curiosity. She was looking for a mage that would be worth her time in challenging. Before entering the town she had sent Rayneer into his gemstone so that she wouldn’t be challenge by some random combatant. With her curse in its current state, she may not be able to beat so of the more powerful and experienced mages.
Jania entered into one of the local bars figuring she may her of rumors from this area. As she entered the bar and scanned the area she noticed a few eyes look her up and down. She couldn’t blame them since she was dressed in a low cut black dress to show off her now 20’ish year old body. She used her feminine charms to gather information at times. Controlling men could prove very useful at times, especially when her curse was at full strength.
Jania chose a more secluded booth that would still give her a good vantage point for seeing and hearing what was going on.

Tura raised her head from where she lay. The morning sun glinted off her raven-black feathers.
The gryphon kept her mind voice closed off from Vilya, she had been many places and seen many things...most of which she would prefer her companion not know about.
"I know the ships are mostly used by merchants to transport cargo." Vilya put in. "It would make sense that they would dock the ships directly at the villages where their products were made. If we're looking for the ocean towns, then we look for a fish merchant's airship going for its cargo."

((I'm assuming that Damiano is going to go ahead with whatever Vilya is saying for now, since Griffin has control of him. And it seems as though Kin doesn't care where we go, so long as we go somewhere. The only person we need a definitive response from is Minatsuki.))
"Alright, Vilya, you seem really confident that this is the best choice, so I'll trust you on it. I agree on going to the airdocks. The Guards are going to be looking for dragons, not airships, so it may be a good cover."
"Well, Minatsuki, what do you say? Do the airdocks sound like a good idea to you?"

((Sorry for forgetting to post continuously. Things are a bit crazy right now, since I have to move into my new apartment. Hopefully, I can start posting regularly again, next week.))
Minatsuki had been nodding off throughout the conversation, only catching few pieces of words. The thought of comfort at finally rushed in once she knew she was safe again. When Sai had asked, Minatsuki's head jerked up from the tree that she was leaning on involuntarily, her hand quickly recollecting her visage.
"Hm? Oh, ah, sure. Sounds good to me."
Asako questioned Minatsuki, as if to raise an eyebrow at her master. Minatsuki knew she didn't have to answer for Asako to know what she would say, and let out a yawn.
<... Huh, haven't thought of him in a while.>

((I'm just going to pretend like Damiano agreed with the plan as well.))
"Alright, so we have a plan and a destination, for now." Sai said and looked at Minatsuki, Damiano, and Tura. "You guys should get a few hours rest before we go anywhere. I'll see about collecting some wood for a fire and catching something to eat. Kin, Vilya, either of you wanna help?"

Kin stood up instantly, "I guess." Kin said as if he was unsure, though it seemed like he was determined to get away from the large group. Kin followed after Sai. Kin thought to Vix. Vix obediently left the area after Kin and Sai.

Sai and Kin walked a short ways away from the clearing into the trees. Sai began gathering up dry tree branches and sticks as they went. Once they were out of earshot of the rest of the group he turned to Kin.
"So, Kin, you were awfully quiet during our conversation just a few minutes ago. Surely you have an opinion on the subject. That is, as long as you plan to continue traveling with us. Are you really not worried that we might encounter more Guards. I have no doubt that not all of them are going to be defeated as easily as most of those that were encountered last night."

Kin stopped. "No point in arguing about where we're going since we will run into guards no matter where we go." Kin said calmly, but yet seriously. "Don't worry about who the opponent is until they're in front of you. Plus as long as I'm here, we will know before anyone gets close. Vix is always patrolling the area around me." Kin added, reassuring Sai. Kin bent down to pick up some large branches and broke them in half equally.

"Well, I gotta say, Kin, you seem to have confidence and cold logic in spades. I've gotta respect you for that. Me, I'm still a little worried about running into that Guard that cast without incantations, I don't know if I could challenge him even if I were at the top of my game. Anyways, I suppose you'd rather we were traveling alone again too wouldn't you? Personally though, I kinda like having a group of friends to travel with. We should probably get to know them a little better though, before we go to far with them. For that matter, you and I should get to know one another better. We've been traveling together the longest of everyone in this party and we've still only known each other for a few days." Sai said, and then cut himself off when he realized he's been rambling incessantly.
Jyreme had been wandering around the small port village for a few hours, he had come here looking to collect a mark from the Sage, and had lost horribly he just hadn't been able to contend with that amount of skill and power. And the style of the Sage had completely contradicted his own, that hadn't helped... He walked down the street and his eyes fell upon a beautiful young woman, maybe slightly older than himself but who was counting. She was thin and fit and blonde and scantily clad. All the things he liked in a woman wrapped up in one convenient bundle. He walked casually up to her, feeling a sudden burst of self-confidence. Maybe this day could turn around after all.
"Excuse me, miss," Jyreme said to the pretty woman. "You look like you're new in the area and, while I don't claim to be a local or anything, I've been here for a bit and maybe I could show you around. My personal suggestion is the inside of that building over there." He said and pointed at a local pub across the street. "Most interesting place I've managed to find around here. Maybe I could treat you to some of the local cuisine?"

((for the sake of argument i'll pretend i was outside the pub))
Jania was about to go and enter the pub she had spotted when a young man walked up to her and apparently asked her out. Jania was used to such attention from men when she was in her younger form and she enjoyed it. Before answering she thought about what was going on, she wanted to find someone powerful in the area and she knew nothing about the sage. she had 2 full days before her powers were unlocked and available to her in the fullest to find a challenge to defeat. Jania quickly thought of a plan that would allow her to find a n opponent quickly while her powers got closer to being unlocked.
"I'm not interested in the town." Jania said in a rather rough tone of voice. "Honestly, I'm interested in finding mage worth my time to challenge me in battle. It's been a while since I fought and I don't want to get rusty." Jania's tone started to turn from rough to almost annoyed as she continued, "If you can point me to a strong mage to fight then maybe I'll let you buy me a drink. If not, then I'm not interested."

Normally Jyreme might have been put off by the tone of voice and the insinuation, but he was, for some strange reason, full of good cheer since he had laid eyes on her. Well, he might have been lying to himself slightly, it did still irk him somewhere way back in the far corners of his mind, but he was too optimistic at the moment to care.
"Well, fair lady, look no further. I am a mage and more than capable of being challenger to you, if that is what you wish. And should I win you will accompany me for a drink and a bite to eat?" Jyreme said, hope and optimism shining in his violet eyes where his slightly long, light brown, hair didn't obscure them. He spread his arms in a questioning gesture, causing the sleeves of his tan wizards robes to rustle slightly.
