Kohki frowned as he failed in commanding the bugs. He definately would not give up to show his cousin that he in fact was strong and able to be a great Aburame. Hiro had frequently teased Kohki about being weak, and that he was learning medicine because of that.

Kohki thought of trying something else, maybe it would help. He rose his arms again, and concentrated.
"Ok... form a clone of me!" he said to the kikaichu.
Maybe actually telling them would help. But, it didn't...

The idea of telling them didn't work.
Hmm.... maybe they didn't listen.. he thought, after all, he had spoken quietly.
"FORM A REPLICA OF MYSELF!!" he shouted.
It wasn't very loud, but the kikaichu got the message. They formed the replica instantly and almost perfectly.

This was pretty hard, so he just would attempt this successfully once more. He would try it without saying anything, since that's what would most likely have to be done in battle. He concentrated, and the kikaichu received the message. It wasn't the best they had done, but it was still pretty good.

"Good job Aski!" the Kusakage nodded at him while she said this. "Ok for this next step use the flow of the opponents punch to go with yours don't take it too fast!"

Aski listened on the explanation and tried to think of how he could do this. When the clone came at him he thought of dodging, sensing and then trying to deflect and use the punch to his advantage. He thought of all the steps and tried this as the clone came at him with a punch.

This last part is the most difficult to understand. You must take that energy and strength from your opponent's punch and add it upon your own energy and strength. Using the flow and direction of the blow, you must make it flow into your own. This requires movement and turns, which may be slow, but are powerful.

Aski totally messed up, he couldn't figure out where they were going. The clone was able to hit him and he couldn't block the punch. He got up off the ground and focused again on the clone. He tried to think of a way to focus more. Then he remembered, the feet. He focused on the clones feet watching the punch carefully as well. He watched as the clone stepped towards him. He kept focused on the footing of the clone.

He was able to use the clones strength against him. He was happy he could do it. He focused again on the footing. He thought this an important part of the technique even if it really wasn't. He focused on the footing of the clone. Watching as it came at him. Which way it stepped, when he came at him he was prepared to deflect and dodge the punch.

He still couldn't get it for the second time he focused on the feet again and wondered if it was only luck that got him that time. He focused again on it wondering if he should've improved his taijutsu skills. He was having trouble learning it and tried to focus on getting the right outcome.

He still couldn't get it and it worried himself. He focused on the footing again. Unless the kusakage told him differently he was just gonna go with that. It had worked for the other excersise and proved succesful once in this one. He watched as the clones feet came running at him and he prepared to deflect it using the clones strength.

He fell to the ground this time and it hurt. As he got up the clone started to come at him this time but he yielded and it stopped. Smirking almost at him. He walked over to the Kusakage. "Im sorry ma'am but this step is a little hard for me. I'll have to take a break for the night" he replied to her walking off out of the grounds.

Her Shizzyness

PostPosted: Tue Jan 30, 2007 10:03 am

Sumire bounded back into the training grounds with Myobi walking quietly on her heels. "Whee! I'm gonna learn a new technique!" She continued explaining in an enthusiastic vein just how she was going to learn all the taijutsu moves in the entire world. Spying Tenmoki, she hurried over. "Hi, Momakage! Am I ready to learn the Dodging Palm now? I learned the Open one just like you told me to!" Her voice was faint from having taken no time to do the little things -- like breathe. Her face was bright with hope and excitement.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Myobi, only just now making her way over, took advantage of the break in Sumire's nonstop talking. "I would also like some training, Kusakage-sama. I find that I'm highly interested in genjutsu, but I do not know a single technique. Since I have recently become a genin, I thought it would be a good idea to get started on that..." she trailed off, keeping her eyes lowered. After a few seconds, however, she peeked out from under her lashes to see Tenmoki's reaction.

"That's the spirit!" Momakage said to her, but then slowly slit her eyes at the girl who she saw was Sumire. Tenmoki hadn't forgotten how this little girl made her boy blush. "You want to learn my dodging palm?" the woman asked with almost a murderous tone as she took a shuriken out from her sleeve. She threw it as hard as she could up into a tree. "Spot that," she said, pointing at it from a distance. "Spin around in circles as fast as you can without loosing track of it," Momakage instructed her.

Training Part I
Kusakage-sama has thrown a shuriken up in a tree. Its branches and shadows make the black metal hard to see. You have to keep your eyes on that shuriken while moving and turning. Practice spinning in place and keeping your eyes on the shuriken.

As she occupied Sumire with the shuriken, Tenmoki looked down to Myobi and smiled. Well, she didn't really look down, because the girl was almost as tall as she was. Maybe even taller if Tenmoki took off her sandals. "Well, I only know one genjutsu and I'm quite willing to teach you it. Its a very twisted one, however," Momakage told her. She couldn't imagine little Myobi performing such a cruel technique, but she was a ninja. "The best way to figure out a genjutsu, is to experience it yourself. The technique I can teach you is the Hell Viewing Technique. Are you sure want to learn it, love?" Tenmoki asked Myobi.

Training I
The best way to figure out a technique is to experience it yourself. The kage will repeatidly use Narakumi no jutsu on you until you break through it enough to understand what it truly does to you.

Sumire blinked at Tenmoki's evil tone. What in the world had gotten into Momakage? After the short, terse instructions, Sumire was a little hesitant to begin. Her voice was uncharacteristically subdued as she turned and tried to spot the shuriken. She could barely see it, half-hidden by the leaves of the tree. A little deflated by Tenmoki's harsh treatment of her, her first attempt was timid. She spun halfheartedly in a circle, trying to keep her eyes on the shuriken. But she lost it soon after she began spinning. With a sigh, she tried to regoup , shooting uncertain glances at Tenmoki.

Myobi looked up with a bit of hope at Tenmoki's words. The Hell Viewing Technique? It sounded...mean. But then, she wouldn't exactly be using it as a practical joke now, would she? She would be using this on those trying to hurt her, her teammates, her family, and her village. What if Koro got hurt because she couldn't help? Her determination to learn a genjutsu returned, though she was still uncertain about trying it on herself. At least she'd understand what she would be inflicting on others. With a small nod, she answered Tenmoki, "Yes, ma'am, I'm certain."

As Aski wandered back into the grounds the clone was still waiting for him. He was determined to learn this technique.. He promised Aya he would teach her the dancing technique, even though it was a clan jutsu he liked her enough and he was surprised she even wanted to learn it.
