Jaeger_Ayers Ms. Selina Kyle I'm not stating my opinions as if they're facts, I'm stating them as opinions. Which is to say that I'm talking about them. It should be obvious that they're my opinions since I'm the one typing them. No, you said "Clark is bland.", and in relation to my mentioning The Batman you said "At least it wasn't a good show." Those are statements, and one's I disagree with, and I feel like you're calling into question my taste for feeling the way I do. If you had typed "I feel Clark is bland" this discussion would have gone on this long. You have got to be kidding me. Because I didn't type "I feel," then I'm not doing it right? I don't type "I feel" for the same reason I don't start sentences with "in my opinion." It's bullshit and it's condescending. It's of course the way I feel and it's obviously my opinion. To have to type "I feel" and "in my opinion" is like saying people can't tell as well as that I have to point out that they're only opinions so no one should care. It weakens my stance and it's wishy-washy. I'm not going to wishy-washy my typing, I'm going to defend my position. Yes, this does mean that I think you have poor taste in these particular cartoon shows. I will probably not be taking your recomendations on cartoons anytime in the future. So what? That's not a crime you know, it's just a difference. I don't think any less of you for it.

Here's where it's pointless: you don't need a stance. You don't have to defend your opinion to me or anyone else. You say "I don't like that show." Fine. That's your perogative, and I've no interest in trying to "convert" you. You say that I show I like is "Bad", or characters I like are "bland", that's you puting me on the defensive. There's no reason whatsoever for you to put down something I like just because you don't like it, especially something like a television show. Say you don't like it. Say why, if you want to. Don't challenge my liking it.

Zinda Blake The people in charge of the new Bionic Woman show need to be stabbed. mad Obnoxious kid sister? Enormous hideous puffy lips? Creepy mad scientist-boyfriend-twice-her-age? Nanites?! Film editor with ADD? My expectations were absolutely crushed. Now, it's true that sometimes a pilot is a dog and the rest of the series recovers nicely, but this one's already built itself a mountain to get over. They haven't even bothered to NAME half the characters, forcing me to refer to them as "Creepy Mad Scientist Boyfriend" and "Guy who's supposed to be Oscar Goldman." And WHY the obnoxious kid sister?! I just hope that, as a result of this dog of a show, the ORIGINAL Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman shows finally come out on DVD. I honestly didn't think it was that bad. But then again, I was never a fan of the original or 6 Million Dollar Man. Best new show: REAPER!!!!! Funny as....hell. twisted

I'm sooooooooooooooooo happy I got Sonic Rush Adventure for the DS. It was a birthday gift for me, from me!
I just love me that much.
But not as much as I love Sonic.
It's almost like the classic Genesis game in my hand.

OK....I usually like Mythbusters and all but they're busting superhero myths. WTF? How can they bust myths from fictional storylines??? OMG!!! We proved that fiction isn't true!!! stressed
One of the "myths" they are testing is Batman's grappling gun. Adam and Jaime start with normal grappling hooks and ropes and try to attach them to a ledge to climb the side of building. They pretty much fail. But the test is flawed. Neither one is even slightly athletic and neither is a climber.
Ugh....I just really thought they could have done better. They seem to be running out of stuff to test.

A thought came upon me tonight, I'm trying to think of all the movies based on comic books, trying to compile a list. Assistence would be most welcome. I'm keeping movies off the list if they haven't started showing trailers yet. Once those are released the filmis pretty much set in stone, but until then I leave it open. Also, there's one movie I'm keeping off the list for reasons which should be absolutely obvious. My goal at the end of the list is to see just how many are superhero movies and how many aren't. I am limiting these to movies that recieved some sort of theatrical release. Direct to DVD doesn't count.
Batman - franchise Spiderman - franchise Superman- franchise F4 Punisher Daredevil Elektra Ironman Hulk X-Men Blade Ghost Rider Nick Fury Spawn Supergirl League of Extrordinary Gentlemen Constantine Judge Dredd Steel
Stardust From Hell The Mask History of Violence American Splender Road to Perdition Ghost World Art School Confedential Men In Black Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 300 30 Days of Night d**k Tracy Hellboy Phantom 2040 Sin City The Rocketeer V for Vendetta The Shadow Sheena Conan The Phantom Howard the Duck Swamp Thing Timecop

My problem with that one is that it doens't list which ones are based on comics, it just talks about superhero movies. Zoom and Sky High are listed but they definately aren't based on comics, some of the others, like Conderman and Toxic Avenger, I don't know about.

Chris Powell Best new show: REAPER!!!!! Funny as....hell. twisted Amen to that! Also, Avatar still rocks. Have I ever mentioned how much I love this show? "We're in enemy territory. Those are enemy birds" xd Also, also Toxic Avenger was a movie first I believe and then Marvel did a series based on it.
