Watching the small fire display with a blank face Draeken nodded. "Sigmund. I wont even attempt to remember your full name. But you remind me so much of someone. Only you're not nearly as clumbsy. Were you him, you would have likely fallen over halfway through your display of fire and have stumbled over most of that name. Anyway, given that you are likely not fooling around despite your boastful manner, you are welcome to help in whatever battles may come. If you have any knowledge of planning or anything related, you are welcome to help with that." He stood then, not bothering to hide the fact that he was seven feet tall, and walked up to the man, extending his hand towards him. "I welcome you to my home. You are free to stay as long as you wish."

Sigmund's right eyebrow twitched at the little added commentary. "Really?" he said, "sounds like a real nut job. Though I'm glad not everyone has seven surnames."
If there was anything more peculiar about Sigmund, it was noticable when he took Draeken's hand. It was not terribly powerful, if not full of confidence within itself. However, the heat emitting from his palm was far above normal. It was even hotter than the heat one felt when checking the forehead of someone running a VERY high fever. What made it even more odd was that both of them were wearing gloves, so one could only think how hot his bare skin was. "I'm glad you accept my help. I'll try not to boast until I can prove my worth," he responded.

Shaking Sigmunds hand without flinching away or even showing that he noticed the heat, Draeken nodded. "Yes. A boastful showoff who has proven nothing will likely receive ill treatment here. But even after you have proven yourself, keep boasting to a minimum. And if you are to stay for any good length of time, I suggest to refrain from getting drunk around my wife. She is currently...Unable to enjoy alcohol." He grinned weakly, knowing he would likely get smacked for that comment.

Sparkei smiled to himself, swinging around and jumping off the rails. His tail wagged to symbolize slight agitation, and his ears flattened against his head. "I'm going stir crazy..." he said to himself as he walked back into his makeshift room, his thoughts swirling once again to what happened what seemed like such a long time ago. "Those three....." he said to himself, "I wonder what they're up to..." Looking out the window and seeing many trees either ripped from their roots or just incinerated from that explosion, he sighed, Maybe I should go to the planning room... he thought but quickly changed his mind. Sighing slightly, he walked to his bed and jumped on, staring at the ceiling, he knew something was coming, but he couldnt tell which direction it would come from. Frowning, he got back up, and laid back down with a head rush. Blinking and holding his head, he decided to get up and walk around the mansion some more, get a good bearing of the place that just might become a future battleground.

Draeken Aakarshan Shaking Sigmunds hand without flinching away or even showing that he noticed the heat, Draeken nodded. "Yes. And if you are to stay for any good length of time, I suggest to refrain from getting drunk around my wife. She is currently...Unable to enjoy alcohol." He grinned weakly, knowing he would likely get smacked for that comment. Phia had been watching the two from a large comfy chair, her eyes dropping down to the pages of her book, flipping a page occasionally. D's Assumption about the comment was well almost correct. He'd suddenly find a thick leather bound volume in hylden striking the side of his head. Phia meanwhile sat there still, arms crossed over her chest, pouting. "Must ye remind me?" She said, more angry at her situation then at him. She pulled on a sweet smile and looked to Sigmund "Pleasure to meet Ye Sigmund. My only request is tha' ye dun smoke within several miles of the house, I can't stand second hand smoke an' My daught'r 'as been trying to quit, It wouldn't be fair if someone else was do'n it 'round 'er." She paused, looking to D. "Where ar' thoose two anyway?"

Almost as if she had been listening in on the conversations taking place in the planning room, Aethi stuck her head out of the shadows and smiled. "Was passing by and thought I heard mention of Aria and I. Are we needed for something?" She had a certain light to her eye that suggested mischif was at hand or at least about to be.

"A thousand words of merit and ethos ain't worth half as much as giving another guy a scar. Yeah I think I'l just use the energy to flap my jaws better if I break more bones."
Sigmund really did have little reason to boast, nor did he believe he was the most experienced user around. All he knew was that he was good enough to boil a thing or two.
"Whoa..... that looked - shall I say - brutal." Those were the only words Sigmund could use to describe seeing a book flung at D's head. His contemplation of their sex life was pleasantly brushed aside by the notion that he wasn't to get himself drunk, a notion to which he delightfully replied: "Oh I'm not the kind for alcohol or smoking for that matter. My father couldn't stand either one so neither can I, heh. I can't say I don't get a little high on air once in a while though." The last part was spoken with glee and in warning. When Aethi appeared out of the shadows, Sigmund turned to look at her and saw only her head. "Wow. That's the most advanced head wall ornament I've ever seen. I mean I've seen some nice animal heads and all, but that would have to take the cake," Sigmund said, laughing quite in glee at his poking fun at Aethi, "bet you're proud of that one."

Phia laughed at Aethi softly. "Where's tha' daught'r of mine...she can't be too far away."
Aethi would feel a hand on her a** for a moment before Aria stepped into the room from the shadows, pulling Aethi with her, she winked and looked to Phi. "Right here Ma. Hows the little sib doing?"
Phi rolled her eyes, paling just a bit. "Just fine judging from my morning sicknes." She shook her head then looked to Sigmund. "Nice to meet you, if you'll excuse me." She turned and left the room, escaping to the library.

The book collided with the side of Draeken's head and he grimaced briefly before turning it to a smirk, making a kissing expression towards Phia. "I love you too honey." He smiled then blinked at Aethi, shaking his head. No doubt her and his daughter were up to something he would find out about later and not approve of. That was another matter entirely, however. "Well I'm glad to hear you have a level head on your shoulders Sigmund. That's better than what some people around here can offer. Anyway, feel free to explore the mansion. Just stay out of other peoples bedrooms, eh? Wouldnt want to find your carcass hanging from the roof later on."
As Phia left the room in a hurry, Draeken looked after her with a sympathetic expression. "I really wish there was something I could do to ease her sickness. Maybe I should invent a cure for morning sickness, eh Ari?"

Aethi would jump slightly and emit a short sqeak as Ari grabbed her a**. Being pulled from the shadows she laughed and grabbed at Ari's in retaliation, despite them being in the open now. And here she had thought Ari wouldnt be forward enough to do such things, even in the shadows. "If you really must know Sigmund, I am not a talking head and I would be glad to give you proof if you would so wish it." She smirked darkly at that statement as if she were implying a physical altercation.

As the sun shone in the sky, a figure walked through what was the battlefeild where many had fought. He could tell that the scorch marks were not recent, yet he could also see that many invaders had advanced on the mansion he was now close to. The warror clenched his fists fro a moment, then released them, realizing what might be in there. "If the invaders that attacked here were after that mansion, it would be nothing by now if they had won. And that means that if there's survivors, they might need an able hand. Which means... that I can make money fighting whatever attacks them!" His cloak flowing behind him, he approached the mansion with slight aprehension. Even without entering, and despite the fact that his training as an empath was extremely rusty, he still got the feeling that something strong was inside... and if he wasn't wanted in there, that he wouldn't last long. "...Better bring up the payment for my services later." And he walked up to the door, and knocked on it.

Maybe I should invent a cure for morning sickness, eh Ari?" Aria sqweaked at Aethi's hand copping a feel before she replied to D. "She migh' like that...but she'll enjoy drinking more." Aria smiled a bit, shrugging. "But I'm not really sure if you can.... cause its like some hormonal thing er something...dunno..." She laughed at Aethi. "No need to beat up the new guy on the first day Aeth" Ari used the nick name loosely when she had her arms drapped loosely around Aethi's shoulders, leaning gently on her. She nipped at her earlightly.Meanwhile Phia spent the afternoon curled up in her comfy chair in the library. She couldn't concentrate. She kept wanting to fall asleep but everytime she tried she was unable to. She was shivering badly but her skin was extremely hot to the touch. Too hot ever for a vampire and something like a 105 degree fever for a human. She drew yet another blanket about her, this was the 6th or 7th one. She had felt fine earlier...well as fine as one could with morning sickness. She took an unstedy breath and sighed, walking outside from the shadows, it was a warm summer day, maybe it would make her not so cold. Yet without knowing it she left no trace of her ever being their, just an open book. Normally her aura or scent would linger but neither indicated where she had gone to now. She moved slowly through the garden. Just walking around, the blankets trailing on the ground as some sort of haphazard scarf.

Draeken shook his head at the antics of the two young women. "You girls..." He didnt even bother finishing whatever it was he was going to say. He knew nothing would get through to them anyway.

Before he even realized it, he was heading towards the door. The knock that resounded snapped him out of his mental reverie, another tick in his list of odd things, he can go into a reverie but continue to move around....just dont ask anything or try to get his attention through shock. Blinking slightly, he walked with more of a purpose towards the door, and opened it. He met a stranger with a cloak standing outside. Cocking his head slightly, smiling, and brushing a stray white hair from his face, he said, "Hi there, did you come here because of the dojo tradegy? Or are you here for.....more malicious reasons?" He kept his face calm and friendly, but his feline tail and ears tensed only slightly. Stepping aside, not really getting a sense of danger from the guy, he said, "Either way, come on inside, the owner's alittle busy at the moment, but I'm sure he sensed your presence awhile ago." He paused, and for a moment a look of confusion passed through his face, "I'm sorry, I didnt introduce myself. I'm Sparkei, and this is Draeken's Mansion, and you are?"

Aria was in the middle of kissing Aethi's cheek she stopped dead, she looked up and towards the west side of the manor, where the library was. Her mother's presense dissapeared entirely from there. Yet Aria knew she was here...somewhere, but very ill. Aria's skin felt warm to the touch and she shivered slightly. "Ma?" she said mentally.
