HAHA. I named mine Hannah. After I was seperated from her last year when she played the flute too.

i haven't named my flute but i'm the instrument nickname giver.
one clarinet is named charlie.
and another is named bass playa jr.
i guess you had to be there 3nodding

I got bored while our director was working with the flutes, and decided to name each individual part of my trumpet ^^ Here goes...
Concert trumpet: Sessho-maru Hiei Yohaim Alexis Fernando Reindhart Wyffron Versailles de Granvirias Aritamis Donpanina Taios Momitchi Hatori Shinichi Kurama Kurogane Kenshin
Pep-band trumpet: Vanyel Tylendel Stefan Subaru Suzuki Haku Hisoka Hikaru Kaoru
And the fluegel horn I play sometimes is named Sephiroth.

My trumpet I named Kaz because we were on the shuttle bus to go to the PAC and that particular bus had nametags, so Loreli claimed a name and I claimed a name and the name that was left was Kaz. Sense I had my trumpet was with me, that was it's name.
Loreli, my best friend, and I were bored in Middle School Band, so I asked Loreli if she could hear to ocean in her french horn. She was like "Yeah, and I hear a whale in there." So I asked her what the whale's name was and she replied "Sherman." So for there on out that french horn's name was Sheldon.

One day in band while warming up, my friend and I made names for our trombones. whee Mine is Spongy (it was on a whim, o'course), and hers is Alotta Viva Dersissavia (I think that's how you spell it. ._."). wow alotta viva dersissavia that is hard ta say or spell i named my clarinet billy bob joe hmmmmm rofl jk i aint nevr thot bout namin my clarinet

right now my clarinet is the "percussion wanna be" because the little silver thing at the bottom of the bell is lose and u cant fix that so it sounds like some random percussion interment....its trippy

My alto sax is named Sally. I figure once she gets to be six years old I'll start calling her Old Sally. The name just really fits. My Soprano sax I haven't decided a name on yet. I keep forgetting to check the serial number.

When I got my new clarinet I researched French names and posted them and had the entire vote on it. The winning name? Adelaide. And that's what everyone calls her. No joke.

I have two saxophones, a crappy conn, and a fairly nice Selmer La Voix...
Name them please!

Ah, well, what do you usually think of your saxes?
Like, do you think of them as nearly human? I know, sounds weird, but it kinda helps on the names you think of. And, you should think of things that you'd want to remind yourself when playing the sax. Do you wish to think of jazzy tunes, or more classical? Or a different culture? iono.
Like, I have a saxophone too, and as much as this sounds so stupid, Lisa Simpson of The Simpsons is my idol. So, I named my sax Lisa Elaine (cause my friend recommended me to name my sax Lisa S) Simpson!
